Not sure if this is Molly's or Old Cellar. The same place? This is a nice little bar, it's New Year's Eve and there are almost no people here. My partner and I can't figure this out. Good place, one star deducted because no whipped cream on the Irish coffee.
Took a walk downtown after dinner. I smelled cigar smoke from outside, and that always gets my attention. Smoking ok here. Perfect Irish pub, I'll be back with a cigar. And friends.
Great bartenders, great drinks. A wonderful place to stop in, get drinks, and have conversations.
The bartender was very welcoming and very nice. Even though he messed up and brought me a Corona instead of a Dos Equis like I asked for originally he made it right with me and even offered to play our kind of music which gives him mad kuddos in my book.
This is a two sided bar. One side is the cellar door - the other is Molly's. Both are great bars. Pool table, darts and a chill vibe. Bartenders are sweet and on point. Go see Mike, Danny, Tater and Will. They will treat you right.
Very friendly personable bartender named Jason. This was our first time in and will definitely be coming back. Thank you for the history chat about the building and the area.
Dominique is amazing! She does everything right. No problems! She kept coming back even though she had a lot of customers!
This venue has a warm and comfortable feel to it right in the historic downtown portion of Galveston, with inviting staff and prompt and courteous service. The customer experience was great and we enjoyed connecting with friends from the local area. They DO allow smoking in doors so be aware of this
If the other more popular bars are full I come here. Even if they're not, I still come here. Probably the friendliest pub in the Strand district. Excellent beer selection and decent liquor selection. The bar is split in two and I recommend going to the one on the left when you're looking at it from
Cool old dive bar with great TVs for catching a game
Very nice older place with a nostalgic feel. A little smoky for my tastes. The bartender was super personable & very funny. Liked his demeanor. Drinks were great!
Great old school feel bar. Unfortunately wife got a beer that was mostly flat and watered down cause the keg needed changing. Bartender should have noticed.
Beautiful old pub style setting. Great beer selection. We stopped there in the middle of the day so it was mostly empty but the bartender was entertaining and was knowledgeable about their offerings.
Came in to grab some grub and a cold one. The food was on par, and the service was on time. Will visit the next time I'm in Galveston

Local relax bar were adult can be a adult. Have a drink smoking is allowed and the is a pool table. And a lot of beer to choose from as well as a full bar. Open every day of the year.
Great place, great drinks, and great bartenders! They make the best drinks and you can't beat the prices! If you like draft beers and ciders this is your place!
