I had my daughters bridal shower there Sunday. Everyone was so wonderful and very attentive. The managers were terrific and happy to answer all my questions from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond. Everyone thought the food was delicious and absolutely loved the atmosphere. My daughter loved it and I would highly recommend the place for any affair or just come in for a meal. Great place !!!! I can't say enough.

Had the most delicious lunch there today. I had the red snapper and it was fabulous. Excellent, friendly service! Highly recommend.
My family threw my baby shower at Seventh Street Cafe this past Saturday and I was so happy with how everything turned out. The food was fantastic and the wait staff was so attentive and friendly! They even made sure I had a virgin punch drink :) I would recommend them for any occasion!

The only thing wrong with this be restaurant was it is on LI and I live close to the Jersey Shore. The food was good so was the service, and the decor inside was very pretty. It is a feel good kind of place.

I had my mom’s 90th birthday party there on Saturday. The food and service was excellent! Thanks to the entire staff for making this celebration very special!
Outstanding service and amazing atmosphere! The food is amazing as well! Need to try the brick over pizza and Italian cheesecake! Highly recommended!

Our baby shower was held here yesterday afternoon. When you walk inside, there's an upstairs and downstairs dining. Our party was downstairs, and I liked knowing it was more private and I could get a chance to catch up with everyone.
I didn't plan any of it, I saw there was already a prefixed menu. We had a salad, entrée, and coffee or tea towards the end with our cake. The food was good, the service was great, and they constantly checked on between the bar in the back, refilling waters or other beverages, and our servers were friendly.
The only drawback was the bathroom downstairs. It was a small space but very messy. I would suggest someone check on it when possible so other customers don't complain. I know a few women ahead of me did complain. The restaurant is quaint, I wouldn't want it to be ruined because of bathroom comments.
It was a lovely afternoon. We parked in the back and the parking lot is big and shared with other stores.
A bunch of our guests complimented how great Seventh Street Café was. Thank you for making our day a memorable one with loved ones!
Came here for a friend's baby shower and was pleasantly surprised by the location itself, the atmosphere, service and the food! We were expecting mediocre food but it was much better then we thought. Enough that we're curious to come again to try more from their menu, to possibly hold parties here ourselves in the near future!
Had our office party here, the place is decorated beautifully, the wait staff was very attentive. The food wasn't as great as I expected, but it was ok. The drinks were spot on and there was plenty of parking. I have tried the restaurant part but it looks very nice
Pasta fagiole soup was the best! Sandwiches were a bit of a disappointment. Chicken was dry on one sandwich, eggplant was baked on the other sandwich instead of fried which gave the sandwich a different mouth feel but otherwise, tasty. Generous wine pours were appreciated.
Food is great, but we were there for about an hour, and they have the same song playing on a loop over and over and over and over. I mentioned this on the way out, but I got a "who cares, leave me alone look." For that reason alone, I don't want to go back, but the food was good. Please - my brain - play different music instead of the exact same song all day long!! Those poor people who work there!!!
Went in for lunch. Amazing dining experience excellent service weight staff was excellent. Food was excellent menu selection and variety was solid great place for lunch and or dinner a Must go in Garden City.
Amazing experience! Me and my boyfriend are visiting from Tennessee and we came here for brunch with my friend and her husband. All of our meals were not only delicious, but fresh too - the frittata was one of the best I’ve ever had. Our favorite part about this restaurant though was our waitress Denise. She was incredibly kind, efficient and passionate about her job. She made great conversation too and we all absolutely adored her! Five stars all around!
In December 2022, I had a bridal shower for my daughter. We use the Victorian room. Everyone was so accommodating, service was great and food was excellent would highly recommend.

At a 1630 seating. We ordered the Meatballs and Ricotta - Mozzarella Caprese apps Gnocchi and Veal Funghi main courses. The meatballs were the size of golfballs and were tasty. The ricotta was fresh. The mozzarella and tomatos were also fresh.The gnocchi I was told were not homemade but acceptable. The veal was excellent. Not tough or chewy. The mushroom gravy was exceptional! The green beans and carrots were NOT overly drenched in butter. The potatoes were yummy with a parm cheese based sauce. Overall I was happy with the food.
I was NOT happy with the service. Although the staff was very friendly..they pretty much abandoned us for most of the meal. You could have sold me three soft drinks instead of two. I should of known when an elderly woman from another table was frantically waving her napkin trying to catch the staffs attention. In a restaurant where there are only 4 people seated this should NOT be an issue!
Also it doesn't take much for someone to walk around the restaurant and make sure the table cloths are clean. If you are going to have white table coverings in Italian restaurant pay attention!
It's the little things that could push you out of the 5 star range.
