Delicious breakfasts, awesome homemade potato salad, and everything is made fresh! The restaurant is very small, so you may have to wait for a table, but it's totally worth it. The decor inside is a bit dated, but the restaurant is very clean and the whole staff is very warm and friendly and helpful. I love this place.
Great place to have breakfast. Went there for the first time from Colorado and I love the place great staff and very kind. I will for sure go back when in Michigan.

This place was amazing! Everything my table ordered was made with love and all from scratch! No complaints from me the picky one. I never like split pea soup. I'm glad I tried it. I'm now a fan of it. Service was also excellent!
Went here for the first time today, but won't be the last! Food was home cooked and the place has a nice family feel to it. Our waiter was very friendly and prices were good for the portion size.

Grandma Menka still comes in every morning to prep even though she is a young 78. She makes the soups an all dinners home made. Since 1980 Menka, Donny n Sheldon mark 40 Years slinging comfort food's. A large following of 3rd generation customers fill the place daily. Enter 1970's classic diner shiny spotless clean retro style. Starting with Grandma Chicken Noodle Soup jumbo noodles n fantastic broth spot on delicious. Order of Biscuits and Gravy with Eggs, Mega Stuffed Country Omelet smothered with Sausage Gravy absolutely fantastic. She had Chicken Filet Sandwich and Chicken topped Salad. Tried unique Polish Coney be Kielbasa topped with Detroit Chili sauce n Onions it works and the Kielbasa topped with Kraut. We loved the staff, we Loved the whole feel of the place, only a few retro diners remain in Michigan. Cash be King you bring it or leave hungry. Don't judge 'till you try the food. The reason old people show up here to eat is it's a great place to get a home cooked meal at a good value. The son is a quick, polite, and efficient server while dad prepares home made soups, mashed potatoes, and a list of daily specials. The summer menu features potato salad with hard boiled egg and onion. The best I have ever tasted away from home. Potato Salad or Macaroni salad is paired with egg slices or grilled boneless chicken breast and two slices of Italian bread. People often special order Potato Salad by the pint or quart or larger to go. Nothing fancy but clean efficient home cooked meals. Breakfast anytime

Came in today after a funeral, the workers are soo nice and attentive. You can tell its a place with a lot of regulars as they knew almost everyone who walked in, love to see it!
An upscale dive like greasy spoon. And I mean that it a positive way. Clean place but brought back memories of old greasy spoon joints my Dad would take me as a kid for breakfast. You know...no fancy eggs benedict, belgium waffle from whole wheat... Eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy... is it breakfast time yet?
Service was great. The place was clean. It was like eating at grandma's house. Food was great, coffee stayed full. Only thing I'd suggest is splenda.
By far one of the best family restaurants I've ate at in years very good food friendly wait staff on a scale of 1 to 10 I give it 11

Really friendly comfortable environment, just a super relaxed feel... Nice wood panel's and some mirror's with a diner bar(not the drinks kind😋) with comfy looking seats (I haven't sat at the bar yet)... Just relaxed.

Overall, good food, good people, good environment... I definitely recommend especially if your fed up with all the gaudy places, theres no annoying neons, tv or distractions. Just a comfortable little diner vibe with good food. 🙂
