I'm a native Texan and it's so hard to find great Mexican food in California, however this place is in the top three that I have found. The service was great and the food was served piping hot and super delicious. The prices are great also. I highly recommend this place.
This is yet the best Mexican food I have tasted in a very long time. Portion sizes are very generous and well worth the price. That is rare for many restaurants. This will definitely be my New Mexican spot when I’m in California.
Great food. Me and my family have being coming for years, even since the original location. Any time a friend post/check-in here, I get an instant craving. Sometimes I just go for chips and salsa this place is just that good.
By far best in the area. Been coming there all my life. I drive 30 min to go to BT. Albondigas, relleno, shredded beef tacos, Laura's awesome. Wife loves cocido. Salsa is awesome.
My first time after hearing nothing but good things about the food. I was not disappointed. The best enchiladas, tacos, rice & beans I've had.. I'm going back tomorrow.
I have been eating here since I was 16 years old. Cathy and Conrad watched me grow up, my daughters grow up, and my grandchildren grow old. The food here is excellent, especially the Machaca , and the ground beef and potatoe wet burrito.
Absolutely the best Green Chili pork enchiladas on earth.

This is the place for a decent meal, nice atmosphere and attentive waiters..
First time for a big party...they took reservations without issue and were ready when we arrived. Very attentive staff and great food. I will definitely come back.
Love it. Been eating at the Burnt Tortilla for many many years. When they shut down the Artesia location. Thank God they still had the take away location on Redondo Beach Blvd. . I no longer work in Gardena. So my frequency is less. So glad there is the sit down restaurant on Redondo Beach Blvd behind the take away.

The last time I checked this was a Chase Bank many years have gone by I'm glad I found it driving through Gardena the other day sometimes when I'm tripping around doing nothing just enjoying my day out in the wind I passed places catalog them went back tonight for an excellent dinner.
I've been coming to this restaurant for over twenty years. Great good, excellent staff and awesome chips and salsa.

Enjoyed chimichanga with ground beef and potatoes in their spicy green sauce, similar to the one they serve with chips while waiting for food…spicy level was perfect for me to enjoy! He ordered albóndigas soup and chicken soup too, knowing that albóndigas soup is my favorite but I wasn’t in the mood for soup…was good because he enjoyed both of the soups! Cheese enchiladas with rice and beans was ok too…I honestly feel that their rice could of been cooked better using fresh tomatoes instead of can tomato sauce and the beans had that taste they were a bit on the burnt side…we both noticed that as we tried the sides. Yet all in all the service is great and the chips are made fresh to order with their salsa which for me was delicious…oh yeah they are you enjoying your chips and salsa and more are served to you when those come warm to the table it’s absolutely perfect combo of crispy fresh chips and bursting of spicy salsa that’s so good. They also have larger orders of chips and salsa to go! I thought I took pictures of the soups…well maybe next time…
I've known & have been eating at this since I was little growing up in Gardena. Though I wasn't too crazy of it back then. As years went I have a favorite dish...the steak fajitas & with flour tortilla. Of course my favorite beer is Blue Moon. Recently had dinner there on Cinco De Mayo with my mom & stepdad. Best Mexican place in the South Bay.
Food was delicious and this is my 1st time. Definitely coming back for a chimichanga 💜
Very meaty food.
Fast service, lovely staff who looked after us. Large portions, could barely eat half of it haha, but full of good food and drinks. Having ordered the chicken melt with a chocolate milkshake. The food comes with a salad, they let you taste the salad before your meal is too much for one person like me to eat, lovely food although a very popular busy restaurant.

Food still good as it used to be! 15 years ago. Amazing 👏 😍 🙌 shredded chicken burrito 🌯 😋 👌 add cheese, rice, onions and cilantro! You will love it wet or dry, with salsa, sour cream and chips!
