The service at Houlihan’s is why I keep coming back! If you want quick, great service with great prices this is the place to go especially if Mike and Chris are working. Great bartenders, wait staff, food and drinks are why it’s my favorite place to stop in Firewheel.

My wife and I ate at Houlihan's at Firewheel in Garland, Texas because it was right next to the field where the 4th of July fireworks were going to go off. We both had the 612 Burger and loved it, and the brownie batter cake was a delicious dessert. Our server, Seth, was very busy but extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful. We'll definitely be back.
Great place and great food. Sal the bartender is top notch and provides excellent service.
We've been coming for years but much more often this last year. The menu improved with the most creative and healthful dishes a person could dream of. The quality is top notch. Then you get the bill and it's like "That's it?!" Such great food and service at a very reasonable price. Always pleasantly surprised!

We absolutely love this place!!! Mainly because Chris and Mike running the Bar area. If you haven’t been then you need to go and if you have been and haven’t experienced these guys.... well you need to. Our whole fam looks forward to Tuesday and Houlihans!!!
Everytime we eat here the service, food and desserts are always great. Tonite the food was excellent! Consistency is what makes any service establishment succeed. Houlihans does it right!

It is such a great place to go! The food is great, I only wished they bring back the original Ahi tuna, the drinks are wonderful and the ambiance is fantastic!

We eat here almost every date night. The atmosphere is wonderful for date night. We have an awesome person who we insist on sitting in his section every time. Rock is the best!!
We sat at the bar and Mike was awesome! Food is beyond delicious!! We happily spend our date nights here because the food and service is amazing � Thanks again, Mike!

Jordan the front house manager went above and beyond allowing us to eat outside. He had 2 servers call off for today, meaning he was extremely short staffed and had closed the patio. My husband had called ahead of time and explained our situation, Josh has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and other underlying health conditions, so eating inside is NOT an option right now. They had asked the manager and said it was no problem.
When we got there Jordan came out and explained what was going on, and decided right then and there he was going to take care of us, even being short staffed. He felt bad because it wasn't as fast of service as he would have liked, but for my husband and I it was perfect.
We even asked if the chef could chop up my husband's fish so he could eat it a little better, and he said he would see what he could do. The food was PERFECT. The fish was cut up so finely my husband could eat it and I cleaned my plate, which I never do.
Just as I was running low on soda, Jordan brings me a refill, and to say it was a refill is putting it lightly. I didn't even ask for it. He just showed up with it and got me a new to go one for me.
This was the first time eating AT a restaurant, even if it was outside, in almost 3 years. Jordan we just can't express our gratitude enough for all that you and the restaurant did!!
I wanted to try a place I never had so I saw Houlihans and went in. I was definitely an upscale joint with dark wood bar, tables and chairs but also sports on the many monitors all around so I felt comfortable right away. Paulina greeted and seated me and took my drink order. She was back shortly with my drink and asked if I had ever been there before and asked if I had questions or if I was ready to order. I ordered the fish tacos with dumplings as an app. The dumplings were great but the dip was delicious. I'm not sure what's in it but it's fantastic. I saved some for my fish tacos and it put them over the top too. It's fairly expensive I paid $30+ for a soda, an app and tacos but you have to pamper yourself every now and then. Thanks Paulina and the rest of the staff at Houlihan's!
Awesome dining experience. We had the three course meal and everything from the started to dessert was excellent. The portion sizes were large and our waiter was very attentive. We will definitely return.

I love Houlihan's! Every single time I've been has been a great experience! I took my friend out to lunch for her birthday and she lives right down the street from the Firewheel location in Garland.
As always, the restaurant is stylishly decked out. I love the lantern vignette on the ceiling!
They have cool decor and a really lovely ambience.
Our server was very friendly, had great recommendations and was very attentive.
The lunch menu is awesome. We started with lettuce wraps which are some of my favorites. They are served with lettuce leaves, wonton strips, yummy chicken and a tangy and tasty sauce.
I loved the drinks that they had on special, my friend got one of the tiki cocktails and it was really delicious not to mention adorable in the little tiki cup. My niece got a blueberry mojito which is really delicious as well. We all had a really hard time deciding what to get because there were so many options to choose from on the menu! 😋
For lunch I got the salmon with mashed potatoes and green beans served with a dill sauce. The salmon was cooked perfectly and was so flavorful! I was so happy with my meal. So. GOOD!
My friend had the baked potato soup and ahi tuna salad and my niece had soup and a caesar salad. Everything was delicious! We all thoroughly enjoyed our food and probably over ate because it was so dang delicious.
It was a great experience and I am definitely looking forward to coming back for more Houlihan's awesomeness.

Always great for drinks and fresh eats! We usually choose the stuffed fried mushrooms and thai wings as our appetizers.
FIRST TIME HERE, MY COUSIN WAS RETURNING A SUIT AND ASKED ME TO FIND A PLACE TO EAT AND I SAID HERE! AND THANKFULLY WE CAME HERE! OMG THE FOOD IS SOOOO DELISH!!! THE WINGS ARE TO DIE FOR, THE DRINK IS SOOOOO YUMMY AND OUR MAIN DISH WAS TOTALLY UNEXPECTED… ASHLEY TOOK CARE OF US AND SHE DID A SUPERB JOB! SHE WAS FRIENDLY, PATIENT AND VERY ATTENTIVE! COMPLIMENTS TO THE CHEF(S) THE FOOD CAME OUT JUST AS FAST AS WE ORDERED THEM. THE OTHER STAFF THAT HELPS WERE ALL FRIENDLY AND NICE ALSO! THANK YOU ALL 🤍 WE’LL DEFINITELY COME BACK!!!
It has been many years since we visited Houlihan's because the ones that were near to us all closed. We found this one in the Firewheel Mall and gave it a try. I was saddened to find out they do not serve the Shepherd's Pie I loved to eat 15 years ago but our meals were good. I had the pot roast which I did ask to have heated up but it was good after it was reheated. My wife had the fish and chips and really enjoyed it. I had a couple of bites and agree that the fish was good. Our guest had the French Dip sandwich and said it was good. We had mushrooms for an appetizer and they were delicious.
I gave 4/5 rating because my meal had to be reheated which did ruin the green beans in the pot roast; my raspberry tea was way too sweet - even the refill when I asked to make less sweet; and the price. I realize that prices have risen everywhere these days but still have an issue with paying an average of over $20 per person for what should be considered a mid-tier restaurant.
