The host almost ruined our visit. She told us we all had to get out of the car just for her to check us in, we all got out of the car including our baby and toddler, then she said the wait was 50 minutes and we can now sit in the car and wait. She said this policy was on the door, but that's not true the policy said in order to be seated the whole party must be present so at least 5 other people checked in in front of us when my husband had to come to the car to get us all out JUST to get our name on the list, she also wouldn't even tell him what the wait was for our party of 6. Anyway, after that the server was great, he was kind and attentive. The food was pretty good, we will return and hopefully the hostess gets it together next time we decide to visit, especially since we're coming from out of state and we definitely have other options.
Pancakes were fluffy, omelets were perfect and rose biscuit with pumpkin jam was amazing!!
Breakfast was so good! Get there early to avoid the crowd.
The corned beef hash with eggs was fantastic. Pancakes had great flavor and yummy toppings! 😋
Wish we had spotted a bear out the window, but no such luck.
Stopped in for breakfast. Cornbeef hash skillet was fantastic! The pancakes were fluffy and so good, especially with the blueberries. We all had some great food. The server was very attentive and pleasant. This was our first time in, and we will be back! The server deserves a raise! Actually all servers deserve raises!!
We decided to stop for breakfast on the way out of town today. Even though the parking lot looked full, were seated immediately. Lots of empty tables. Don't let the parking lot sway your decision to come in or not. Brooklynn was our server and she was amazing. I honestly can't say enough good things about her. Super kind, helpful and efficient. The food was decent. If you get the walkers cabin skillet, ask for extra gravy. It was pretty dry. The hash browns were unseasoned. A bit of salt helped that tremendously. The pancakes were like cake I guess. A bit dense and dry. They were a little warm when they came out so the butter almost melted on them. Brooklynn brought a whole carafe of coffee to the table. She made sure our water glasses were never empty. We had a seat by the window. It overlooked a small creek so that was a nice view while we waited for our food. All in all, I would go there again and try a few other items. Price was reasonable for the amount of food you get. As I said before, service was amazing. We would go back again for that reason alone.
Loved it here! I think the hardest part is trying to decide what to eat. My husband and I decided to split a flapjack feast. Specifically, we tried the fried chicken which came with a juicy and crispy piece of fried chicken, eggs, hashbrown casserole, 2 pancakes, and a biscuit with sausage gravy. We got the flapjack fritters on the side as a starter. Everything was incredible!
The flapjack fritters tasted like soft donuts with a crispy exterior. The cream cheese icing is just 🤌 Those had to be my favorite part with the chicken and biscuit falling closely behind (seriously it was the softest handade biscuit!)
But the rest of menu has me curious enough to come back another timw or two before our trip ends.
Right down the street from my hotel, and grabbed breakfast here before I flew back to Chicago as we all know airport food blows. Favorite parts, waitress brought an entire pitcher of coffee ☕️ which was amazing! I wish every restaurant didthus. Waffle was solid with cold sliced bananas and pecans for texture. Side of sausage and bacon was delicious and I'm not a huge breakfast gal but I ate the whole things and enjoyed my final few hours in gatlinburg. Would t recommend to anyone.
First, the service was hands down, incredible! Our waitress was so kind and sweet, she was quick with anything we asked for and took the time to converse with us real quick. Second, the atmosphere is so quaint with some silly country signs (i.e. Give ‘em some Mountain Dew. It’ll tickle yer insides). Third, the food was immaculate, mouthwatering, and hit your tastebuds just right. Even the gluten free pancakes were delicious! Overall, you can’t go wrong with checking this place out for some breakfast options.
One of the best breakfast spots in Gatlinburg. The food here is amazing!! Staff is very friendly plenty of parking which is a thing in Gatlinburg it's hard to find parking...
10/10 breakfast for two Celiac folks! Delicious GF pancakes with blueberries. Even the eggs and breakfast meat options (we had bacon and turkey sausage) were cooked to perfection. Brooklyn was our server, and she is a boss. Absolutely adore her. Her customer care is like no other. Highly recommend and we will be back.
We have a new favorite breakfast spot in Gatlinburg! Everything was amazing! So much great food, the maple bacon was the best I ever had. Highly recommend. We were so excited about food I only got 1 picture. We have one kid that has gluten sensitivity and she said their pancakes were the best she'd ever had
I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. They take pride in cleanliness from the silverware to the baseboards. The food is Ahh-mazing. We had to go back again the next day! Our server was fun, knowledgeable and attentive. Unique yummy food choices and more than I could eat. Wish I had one of these at home!!
Absolutely the best place for a good old-fashioned home cooked breakfast. Every time we're in Gatlinburg, this is where we start our day. Great job to the cooks, dishwashers, waiters, waitresses, hosts, and management for excellent sales service and the best flapjacks around.
Nice and friendly staff. The building was nice and spacious. Food was great. I highly recommend the Spanish Skillet with two pancakes on the side.
It was a really neat place to visit out of town. There are so many pancake places. I let b decide since it was a son and mom trip. We stopped here. The wait was about an hour. They had plenty of seating inside and outside the restaurant. They also had a nice gift shop. We picked up some neat gifts at a reasonable price. The menu was large. We both got the breakfast skillet with pancakes. It was very filling and delicious. The service once we sat down at our table was fast. We had a gentleman waiter who was wonderful. I definitely will go back it was a little pricey. That's the normal it seems for Gatlinburg or any restaurant these days.
Food was very good! Service was also good! Wait wasn't too bad, like 20 min. laye morning. The biggest drawback from this visit was the table top. It was sticky and disgusting
Short wait. Not so friendly hostess. All business. Waitress was very nice . Food was good.
There was a 45 minute wait for breakfast and it was worth it. Everything was great food, service and atmosphere.
Nice food. Nothing was over cooked. Everything is nice and fluffy from the pancakes to the skillets. Staff was friendly and fun to have. Great stop for the mountains. Good southern breakfast stop to have while you are visiting.
We enjoyed the food!! Just wished ee could've finished it all. Very heavy but delicious 😋.
