They turned the open sign on at 1050 and unlocked the door. When I walked in, the hostess asked "can I help you?" I told her I would like to order lunch. She said to sit any where on the left side. It was another 5 minutes before a waitress came, dropped off rolls, a menu and took my drink order. No one smiled through all of this. If they weren't ready to be open then don't open the doors! The rolls with the cinnamon butter were excellent. The side salad had 1 cherry tomato cut in half. The fried okra was perfect. The smothered chicken was moist and had a good flavor but not smothered enough.

Down home, country cooking with a rustic feel. Excellent service and speedy preparation, our meal for 3 was ready in under 8 minutes and was cooked perfectly.

It wasn't bad, but wasn't great! The gravy is not a traditional white gravy, but a chicken based gravy for the chicken fried steak. Our service wasn't the best as well.

Excellent! Everything was excellent! The waiter was very young but did an outstanding job. Better than most adults. We eat out a lot as we travel the country with our job, so this is really saying something for this young man. Good job! We got a steak salad and the steak was perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, and it was plenty of food. We will definitely be back!

The atmosphere is really great. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The prices were fair for a steakhouse, which can be pricey. Don't go thinking your getting a cheap dinner. I would've given 5 stars, but the steaks were over cooked. We all ordered medium-well and steaks were cooked well done. I don't know if cook lost track of time or what happened, but a medium well steak should never have charring and the center should still be slightly pink and warm. Our steaks were still edible. When I'm paying $30.00 for a piece of steak, I expect it to be cooked properly. The rest of the food was superb and flavorful.

The food was great! It exceeded our expectations. The steak, shrimp and fish were perfectly grilled.. The staff very friendly and attentive...I suggest to try the steak and quail. The best steaks I ever had in my life... Will go back soon...

Exactly what you'd expect. Everything from steaks to burgers, chicken fried steak and chicken. I had the Philly Steak Sandwich. The beef was flavorful and tender. Good sweet tea. You don't need dessert, they bring out fresh rolls with honey butter. It's basically a doughnut if you spread the honey-butter on right.
