Loved the specials. Was able to turn two of them into apps...conch fritters and crab balls. Also had the chilled cucumber soup and shrimp burger. From the menu we ordered a crab cake sandwich, fried oyster sandwich and susage with peppers and onions. The food was delicious! So glad we found this place. So many things on the menu that sounded good!

I have enjoyed the food, atmosphere and wonderful way that everyone is treated on every visit to this fine establishment. It's a must when visiting Georgetown. Black bean cakes, jalapeno pimento cheese BLT, shrimp salad, portabella sandwich, Goat Island Burger--OK, so I don't have one favorite, but many! Don't miss the everyday different soups-Yummy! Don't miss this experience.

The food and atmosphere is top notch. The service is also second to none. I had the fish sandwich with pasta salad during lunch. The flounder was cooked perfectly and tasted very fresh. The restaraunt itself is located in historic downtown Georgetown. The town itself is very charming and this restaurant fits in perfectly. The menu is suited for a small restaurant located in a seaside town. There is a small parking lot beside the restaurant that is normally full. Free street parking is available.

Had lunch there. I ordered the Shrimp & Grits and it was excellent. Most restaurants should call it Grits & Some Shrimp, but the AHR S&G is fantastic. They add pieces of Country Ham and a sweet red gravy that I thought was super. My wife ordered the Shrimp Salad and she said it was the best she's had in a long time. Very friendly staff and lots of locals to help you absorb the dialect. We're going back and can't believe we've lived here three years and have not tried this restaurant. The prices are not bad either and there is lots of parking available.

Food was good. We had the specials. Friendly staff. Waitress wasn't impatient when we asked what some of the the dishes were. Even telling us which ones we might prefer to split because of the portion size. Would eat here again if traveling through.

My favorite place for lunch, the specials are always great. Today I had the hoppin' John cakes served over a bed of lettuce with a sauce containing beautiful chunks of tomatoes and ham. Save room for dessert. The sour cream coconut cake is amazing.

Best seafood in Georgetown. Closed on Saturday and Sunday, so keep that in mind. The fish and the crab cakes are amazing. If it's not too hot, sit out on the back patio.

A hidden gem. The secret garden patio out back made our lunch experience even better. Loved the food and will go back again and again to try everything . The coconut cake and homemade ice cream are out of this world!

Food was fantastic and cooked to order! The atmosphere was classy and comfortable. The only reason I'm giving it four stars is because the service was less than stellar.
