The food is always good here. Definitely has a family owned type feel to it. Friendly staff and a very clean and warm establishment. As other comments have mentioned. You WILL wait for your food here. So just expect that upfront. It’s part of the experience here so no need to bash them for it. Plenty of reviews state this so I don’t feel bad for you if you come here in a hurry and have a bad experience because of the longer than average wait. The super sub is really good. And that means something coming from me because I am against paying for a simple sandwich that could be made at home. I tried it once on someone else’s recommendation and now I’m hooked.

I always get the same dish - lasagna, side salad and garlic bread with a loaf of cheese bread also. I have not dined in. The facility is clean, staff are friendly and it smells like Italian heaven. My only complaint is that it is closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

The Best Food for many years now... Subs and salads. They have a secret sauce for their sub's and that's what's always given Tony's subs their unique taste that only Tony's have. Their chicken salad and dressings are made there also. Everyone in Georgetown and Andrew's know and crave the special recipes Tony have been serving for as long as I can almost remember. They're clean and check out is pretty fast. I'm sure that many people are waiting for them to open the dining room again but still they're so busy, I don't even think it matters financially, either way you can hardly call in an order. By far the best subs, lasagna, chicken salad, salad's, and pizza. Prices have been kept to a minimum considering the inflation.

We drove from Surfside beach to get a pastrami hot sub ....it was awesome as always! We also got a tuna salad and it was great too!! Love their sauces.....but most of all we had a great server! He was so attentive to my husband and I as he was with everyone in the place that day! I wish I knew his name so I could personally brag on him! It means a lot to us to have a good server because I myself am a waitress! 😊 Great lunch and experience all around!!!

I used to love pizza from Tony's. I ordered a small pepperoni pizza 11/16/17 for dinner and it was awful. The bottom was burnt and there was no cheese or tomato sauce on it. It was so bad I threw away my leftovers. I would have rather had a $1.00 totinos pizza that you make at home. I am not one to complain about food but I was not happy. Your pizza used to be very cheesy and good but I will not be ordering it again.

Every time we are in Andrews we go to Tony's. The super sub is amazing and the pizza is the best. And the service is always great. The Georgetown location is also top notch.

I love love love this place. They never disappoint me and it’s always good. I live in West Columbia and when I go to visit I always have to bring food back! If I lived there I would work part time there and drink that wonderful sauce they have for the subs and salads 😊

Still my favorite sub, over the past few years quality, consistency and service seem to be slipping.
This week the Famous Super Sub was basically baked for 1/3 the regular time....not even close to the days of tearing up the roof of your mouth crunchy. Seems there needs to be better training, supervision & SOPs put in place to keep everything on track!

Used to be the best would drive all the way from p.i. to eat but if you can only give one tiny sauce for a takeout then why would i support you if your not supporting me like your sauce is expensive as your meat i didnt ask for a extra piece of bacon and then to charge .55 cent for a small cup and .65 for a big cup. For sauce. GET OUTTA HERE

I waited for over a hour for my order to be prepared that was called in and was suppose to be ready in 20 minutes. Very disappointed in the quality of service. Once we finally received our order we had items missing like a salad and sauces for the subs. Not sure why, especially after taking over a hour to have my order prepared. And to top it off the sub wasn't prepared correctly once I got home. I specifically asked for no onions and of course the first thing I bite into a piece of onion. I don't know what had happened to the quality service that use to be at Tony's. I did not feel like a valued customer.

I used to LOVE Tony's. It was my favorite place to go once I moved away and could come back for a visit. But now, the food has gone way down. The subs are sloppily thrown together and the prices have gone up. I was so disappointed in my last meal there. I only ate it because I'd already paid for it (way too much in my opinion).Someone needs to make it go back to the standard it was a few years ago!

Okay, walked in and the two girls at the counter looked like they wanted us to leave. Dirty tables and trash around. First impression is everything... I hope the food doesn't suck like the service does. If I owned this joint, I would fire all the hired help, unless of course they are family.. I will let you know how the food tastes... Oh they will not answer the freaking phone either! It keeps ringing and ringing. I haven't had Service this bad in years!� I hope the owner takes heed... I would hate to have this review. As a bonus, I've never given a bad review.

It's worth the wait! You get amazing food, with amazing customer service for a decent price. How could anyone complain about that! Sure, you may have to wait a little bit for your food... But, take in to consideration that it's a Friday or Saturday night. They're a very popular restaurant in Georgetown. Everyone is there for one thing. The food. :)

Ordered two pizza and was told it would be ready in 40 minutes , got there and had to wait 30 more minutes . A total of 1 hour and 10 minutes for a pizza order. Great pizzas but really bad management organization .<br/>Took the Tony's menu off the renters board at our beach house.

Terrible customer service!. I placed an order over the phone for a foot-long turkey and cheese sub. My mother picked it up for me since she was in the area. When she brought it to me to my surprise there was only the bread with melted cheese on top of it and no meat. I called the restaurant anc the person on the phone apologized and told me to come back and get my order corrected. Upon arrival, one of the waitors looked at what was given to me and said I'll take this off of your hands. I said (in. Jokinly manner) no I'll keep it because you all will probably throw it away since you can't give it to another customer. The manager who looked like she was barely 19 who was listening came up to me and rudely said I will let you keep it this time but NOT the next time and walked away. I called her back to me and said to her that there should not have even been a "this time." I live 15 minites away and waisted my time and gas to correct the mistake you made with my order. If there is a next time, meaning if I decide to return to this restaurant and that happens again, I will ask for my money back. She replied? "Well my daddy has never let anyone keep it." My reply was that as long as Tony's Famous Pizza has been around I doubt that he treats customers the way you do and at the rate you are going you may be the one to cause the fall of his business. She never apologized but only asked if I needed a bag to put my food in.

Overall experience. I moved to Charleston 6 yrs ago , and I am disappointed that there's no Tony's Famous Pizza here. Neither is there any place close to it when it comes to quality and taste. So I make sure every time I come back in town to visit, I come here to eat.. and I am hardly ever dissatisfied. It's worth the wait.

Disapointed. I Eat at Tony's at least once or twice a week. I have been living in Georgetown for 10 years now and I have to say, for the first time yesterday I ordered a large cheese steak with extra cheese. There was little or no cheese and more grizzel/fat then meat. I was really disappointed!

Lunch. There is nothing great about this place, the pizza we had tasted like the frozen ones you can buy. our waitress (if you could call her one) a white girl with brown hair was the worse. Terrible attitude boarderline bitch. WE WILL NOT BE BACK.

One of the best pizzas I've ever had. I love the House Special pizza. My favorite thing though is a cheese steak. The chef salad is very filling. And remember everything is even better with the sub sauce. It's the perfect casual spot for meeting friends and having dinner with the kids. Small subs start at under $6. Small pizzas are less than $8. I'm a fan of their sweet tea.

Better than average pretty much sums it up...if i were to give it a grade, it would be a B- . like most people have noted, the pizza is ok, and the sammies are better (at least compared to the pizza). the place is always busy; it's one of the few options for a decent, somewhat quick meal in georgetown...

A Bit Better. This pizza place is a bit better than the average chain pizza place's. But its the cooked sandwiches that are simple and delightful. Any sandwich you choose will get perfectly cooked with just the right amount of ingredients, I personally prefer more, but still just the right amount to fill your stomach.

Have a pizza & and a pitcher at Tony's!. Tony's is definitely the best pizza place in Georgetown. The ingredients are always great quality. It's often packed for this reason. (Don't get the cheese bread though, it's just half of a French baguette with a couple slices of mozzarella melted on top.) Also if you collect 15 of their receipt stubs you get a free small pizza. So kind of a buy 15 get half of 1 free...but still, at least they offer you something. They have nice old booths, and the room feels cozy. They also serve subs which I haven't tried many of, but I've heard many more good things about the subs then I have about the pizza. I have had a lot of great time at Tony's sharing a pizza and a pitcher with friends or a date.

Try the Super Sub or the hot Italian. Be sure to ask for extra sauce if you're getting it to go. Most people like the pizza. I don't care for the crust.
