We spent the afternoon and Georgetown saw a couple museums walked around this beautiful town. Worked up a little appetite and decided to stop by this bakery. Glad we did! I got the best pecan pie I have ever had. No question. It's almost like an English butter tart. It was fabulous. I shared it with my wife and she really enjoyed it too. We sat out back. I'm a little tables overlooking the marina. So we got wonderful service. Fantastic pie! Had a great view. What could be better. Please if you're in town stop by and get some pie or some macaroons or some protein balls or lots of different stuff that they make there

A sweet friend brought me treats from Indigo Bakery in February. I’ve been trying to make it there myself ever since. They were closed last night when we made it to the waterfront. But TODAY was the day!! I finally made it there and was NOT disappointed!! I wanted one of everything!!! If you’re ever in Georgetown, SC, you need to plan a visit!

What was supposed to be a trip to see a concert turned into an epic adventure where my hope was restored in humanity. There was a flash flood during my drive to Charleston this afternoon. My car got stuck. We pushed the car (2x to be specific) in knee high flood waters and we waited for hours for a tow— which never came. I called every hotel and room I could find. Joseph Baxter, the owner of Baxter’s Brew House Inn, returned my missed call and said he was full but may know about a room still for rent. I simply cannot express to you what an amazing group of people I’ve just encountered. At a time when many people would have taken advantage of an emergency situation and gouged prices to compensate for a slow off season, Michael Caldwell and his lovely wife were the most gracious human brings I’ve encountered- quite possibly in life. Not only did Michael, rescue us from flood waters, take us to his AirBnB ( the incredible pictures will speak for themselves) and subsequently refuse payment but they also brought us food. Dinner that was both delicious and decadent but, more importantly, incredibly kind as there was no one delivering because of the floods. They own Indigo Bakery which is just below the loft we’re in😊 A total disaster but A Beautiful Disaster— Turned adventure, which led to meeting some great humans! I’ll definitely be coming back- with a planned visit- and enjoying the free brews while in-house at Baxter’s.

I ordered a chocolate cake for my mother's birthday with only three days notice and they were able to make it. Everyone loved it. One of the best cakes I have ever had. The chocolate chip cookies and oatmeal raisin cookies are amazing. I would also highly recommend the sausage and cheese croissants as well as the German chocolate croissants.

Our business was gifted a delicious assortment of baked goods from the owner. Incredibly delicious and just so happened I was crazing a cinnamon roll.

The owners are so kind & accommodating! Love visiting this place- the iced coffee is great too- and I'm horribly picky about iced coffee. My favs are the oatmeal cream pies and the chocolate cake! They also have a sausage and egg croissant sometimes that's EXCELLENT!
