Loved finding this place while in town for my 2nd Horsey 100 đ´đťââď¸ event. Locally sourced creative and delicious food. Loved the bar atmosphere for my scrumptious beef stroganoff and đ knees cocktails. If I the area donât wast you me time in the food chains, try this place for a much better experience.

Locally sourced, prepared fresh dishes, charming atmosphere ... if you're in a hurry, this is not the place for you. Everything is prepared when ordered. Tonight we chose 2 of the specials, Wagyu roast and the coulotte steak. Both were excellent and the steak was prepared perfectly. The roast came with whipped potatoes and herb roasted carrots. The steak came with 1 side and we ordered an extra, selecting the soy braised mixed radishes and roasted red potatoes with sage. All of the sides were quite tasty. One drawback to the radishes was the amount of soy used. It was such that to attempt to eat the greens roasted with them was just too much salt. We ended with a cherry buttermilk biscuit bread pudding. It was amazing!
The wait staff were attentive and our server was knowledgeable of the dishes and able to make recommendations.
If you're near Georgetown, Kentucky, give this place a try!

Great risotto, the mushrooms were excellent. Cornbread could use some salt, but the texture and temperature was perfect. Staff was great, very attentive.

Nice selections and atmosphere with an ultra stocked bar! The staff is extremely accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend, but recommend reservations. Oh, and the cornbread is delicious! Can't forget about the Brussel Sprouts that have a smokey char grilled flavor with a creamy mustard seasoning.

I've been to a lot of restaurants around the world. This one is a must stop,
Traveling back home, decided to stop in Georgetown Kentucky. To get a Sunday morning meal.
All scratch breakfast buffet down to the sauces and đ§....the butter is legit the best I've had. One thing I wish I took a picture of.
The wagyu beef meatloaf with smoked heirloom tomatoes was too good the photo doesn't due it justice âď¸ smashed that with a a side of deviled eggs and beat salad with feta on the other side of that ...
The sasuage, just look at the photo, it's legit.
The Strawberry Rubar with the homemade whipped cream on the side.
Shiiiit.... Must of your in the area.

Itâs not badâŚif you like PERFECT! Absolutely INSANE meatballs! And the Ham-chop over grits? I donât even know what to say. I travel to Georgetown for business once a week. Since discovering this joint, itâs my go-to for exquisitely prepared âeverything.â (I havenât tried everything, but I can tell.) Service has always been first class. If you only have one night in Georgetown, make this your evening grub of choice! (Youâll regret it if you donât)

Wow! I had never been here and didnât realize it was a total farm to table eatery. Lots of fine options. I ordered the Wagyu Meatloaf with mashed potatoes. My grandsons got waffles with berries and a kidsâ size steak. I also got their zucchini gratin which was excellent. A tad on the pricey side, but really worth it. Our waitress was exceptional as well.

We wanted local fried chicken. Local Feed was so great. It is a made to order, made from scratch restaurant. We had the chicken n waffles, fried chicken, homemade Mac n cheese and the brisket sandwich. They were all fantastic. We also had several desserts. Definitely worth it. Apple strudel, backberry Cobbler, brownie and ice cream, and blackberry biscuit pudding were all delish. I would recommend this restaurant for a great family experience.

This is not just a good restaurant for Georgetown. This is a good restaurant if it were anywhere in the country. First off the service is outstanding. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable & accommodating. The food is creative, eclectic and locally sourced. The alcoholic beverage selection is wonderful, creative & locally sourced as well. I had the ham chop with grits, fried onions & red eye gravy. Sounds greasy, salty & heavy. It wasnât! The chop was the most tender smoked chop Iâve ever eaten & itâs a very generous portion. I could only eat 1/2. The grits were delicious full of corn flavor. The red gravy had a strong coffee flavor but not overbearing. The fried onion rings were really a nice touch, lightly floured, Big, slices of fresh onion. I rarely eat pork & only eat ham if I have no other choice. But this dish showed me that I do like ham, I just like it done well without over salting or smoking. My husband had the beef stroganoff. The pasta was cooked perfectly. The sauce was smooth, not overly thick with the yummy tang of Creme Fraiche. The beef tips were tender & juicy, not over cooked & tough. The bread pudding was outstanding. Buttery, custard with bourbon sauce. Everything here is so well done. This place is worth a visit & my favorite Georgetown restaurant. If youâre doing the Bourbon Trail, add this restaurant to your list of places to stop.

We visited Local Feed for a birthday dinner with friends. We had a wonderful experience! Sitting on the patio was beautiful. We were able to order a bunch of small plates and share. Then, we did the same with our entrees, ordering the steak special of the day and their family style fried chicken. It was such a great way to taste the variety that Local Feed offers. Every bite was delicious and we all left full! The staff was attentive and friendly. The Kentucky Mules are top notch! This place is absolutely priced right for the amount and quality of food you get. I am so happy we have this local restaurant in our town.

We had an 8:00 reservation, our table of 6 was ready when we arrived. The menu was a bit confusing, especially with regard to the steaks and what is included. The waiter was friendly but waiting for our food seemed to take awhile. We ordered cocktails that were delicious. Chicken and Dumplings were ok, good flavor but the dumplings were weird and needed to be served hot, it was warm and the carrots in the dish were hard. Steak had to be sent back it was cold. Deviled eggs were very tasty. Ordered the brownie dessert for a bday celebration which was delicious. We had a nice time and staff was friendly. Food needs a little improvement, but I would go back, its very unique.

Our first visit was this past Sunday. Our server was a bit bland, but the food was wonderful!! The cornbread with shourghum butter was the best ever. Sausage hash (sausage made by the chef) was excellent! Despite the server we will be back.

I think everything about this restaurant is amazing. From the ambience to the service to the food. We go every so often and even though the menu looks so good we've never gotten anything but the specials and in no way is that disappointing. The farm to table concept is wonderful. The entire staff is great but we always try to sit with our man Babar, he explains everything in detail and with a lot of warmth, wonderful young man. This is by far my favorite place to enjoy a meal.

This place offers some of the best southern cuisine in Kentucky. They also are fabulous caterers - multiple guests at our wedding literally uttered the phrase "probably the best food I've ever had at a wedding." Fried chicken and mac is where it's at.

We were in town for fall break and the entire time we were here it rained. By the time we got to dinner the kids were a little stir crazy from being in doors all day. The staff didn't bat an eye. They were very friendly and did special things to cater to our children, like let us pick our table so we could contain our 2 year old son, asked the kitchen to rush the kids' food, and told us how cute our son was (which always gets brownie points). The service was phenomenal. When I asked if the chicken and dumplings had tomatoes because I'm allergic, the waiter didn't treat me like I was dumb (even though I thought it was a dumb question), he politely said he would check with the chef. Overall a great experience. If we are in the area again, we will definitely visit again. Oh, I almost forgot, the food was amazing, portions on what we ate were huge (we also got the beef stroganoff). It was great last night and even better the next day.

This place is magical. We were in Kentucky for my best friends bachelor week and this is one of those underrated places that no one brings up as a suggestion when youâre on the trail. Well let me be the one to tell you, GO HERE! Especially if youâre on the bourbon trail. Their bourbon selection is excellent with fair pricing for the pours. Now the food.. we ordered the entire menu -not kidding- and honestly i couldnt decide what i liked the best. Each appetizer, each entree, each side was better than the last. I really loved the fried chicken and Ham Chop. The skin was so crispy and the meat on the inside was juicy and flavorful. They give you a little side of hot sauce that seemed to be made for chicken like a sweet 60 year long marriage. I could go on and on but honestly, just go here and see for yourself.

Legit. Brussel sprouts, fried chicken with a side of hot sauce and mac n cheese weâre on point last night! Great atmosphere in a unique space.

If I could give a zero I would. Ordered a steak Medium this evening. The steak was cooked to well done. I was very polite and asked for a new steak that was Medium. They brought the exact same steak back out to me two more times. The manger, chef, nor anyone other than the server spoke to me. No chance I will spend a single additional dollar at this place.

The Valentine's Day specials were amazing! Lobster bisque with tender chucks of lobster in an aromatic broth. Extremely flavorful beef wellington, and dark chocolate cake with a plump chocolate-dipped strawberry. Hope they add some the these items to the already yummy regular menu!

Went to Local Feed for my Birthday! Had the best time. Thank you Kaelin, for inviting us to stay and eat at the bar. The food was excellent, the service superb!
Gabriela Hristova
I loved the ambiance and the food was fantastic. Very reasonably priced for the quality and style of the restaurant.
The waiter came just a few minutes after we sat down and apologized for being late. He offered an appetizer on him as an apology. We ordered the fried chicken and pork chops, both delicious and well prepared. Our left overs were boxed in the back, which I see as a sing of respect to the customer.

I have eaten here twice in the last week because I loved it. Fried chicken is amazing, hangar steak was great and the macaroni & cheese is top notch. Pricing is reasonable and the atmosphere is great. Check this place out.

First experience with you guys, tonight. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the stroganoff was the best I've ever had. The service was just as great as the food. Oh, and don't forget the cocktails! We'll definitely be back.

I really liked this small cozy bar we were seated in! Our server was attentive and gave recommendations. We had the catfish and it was perfect! Breaded lightly and crispy fried. If time allows I will go back!
Susan Elsden Onorato
Went there thinking we would have a lovely dinner got a fillet that I was not told was crusted with black pepper, I hate black pepper, got attitude when I sent it back as it was not edible and then got charged 50% for the Screwed up steak and charged full price for one that I could eat???? Seriously don't want the steak I can't eat and if I would have known I was getting charged for another meal I would have not eaten! Horrible customer service will not go back!
