Place is hit and miss with service...pre made margaritas, which are not strong at all and just a bit to bitter 😉 ( heartburn on the way home ). Just overall ok so that's why the 3 stars.... Eggs and chorizo is actually a great dish if you like some spice; then spicier than that try the camarones a la diabla which is another pretty solid dish.... The kiddos really liked the desert which isn't too tough to get right.

The restroom is not clean :( They really need to take care about it. The service is ok the food is not expensive.

The food was great...but, they charged us $10.00 for extra chips and salsa. The kicker is they didn't even tell us it was going to be an additional cost. The salsa was very good, and there are six people in our family. They only gave us two baskets of chips and salsa, then charged us for the rest...very unsatisfied with that.

The waitress was very rude because my wife was checking weight watchers points and needed a few more minutes to decide. She then double charged us for grilled chicken over shredded by taking a plate of chicken Nacho's @ 5.99$ and adding 4.00$ to make it 9.99$ x 2. The chicken was like rubber. There are cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and the fan/ light. They have greasy tables and chairs, and get upset when you ask to wipe them. We were overcharged, paying 34.00$ for 2 plates of chicken Nacho's and 2 drinks. Very dirty how they treat you. Also, when we asked how our bill was so high, they started speaking only Spanish, and acting like they don't understand you. We were on vacation, so we just paid and left. There are better places to get a meal.

This was our first time coming here. Everyone was super nice and they immediately took our drinks. Then we got chips and salsa and ordered a appetizer called Fiesta dip. Both the salsa and the dip were amazing. I ordered a chimichangas and my husband ordered the special dinner. Both were great tasting and portions were very nice. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the beans and rice were a little on the bland side. I would definitely go back and absolutely reccomend!

So disappointed. When I pointed out that what I ordered from the menu was not what I received, I was told that the food was correct that the menu was wrong!

The food used to be really good there but in the last year it has been very disappointing and the last two times I’ve gone my meal has been burnt and I’ve told them and they look at me and said- I’m sorry and then hand me the check. Very disappointed because it used to be my favorite Mexican restaurant in Georgetown.

Caminos is the very best restaurant in Georgetown!

I normally love this place but "manager" was awful to us tonight. None of us got refills, our cheese dip was a tiny bowl not even full and then our fajitas were burned so bad we couldn't eat them. When I told the "guy seemingly in charge" he said something in Spanish, and then just charged us full price. I have been a fan of this place for years. I was treated so badly tonight, I will NOT be back.

Just attempted to eat dinner in a near empty restaurant. We sat and sat and no one came to take our order for drinks or food. It was time to leave when a party who came in at least 15 minutes after us received drinks and ordered while we were still waiting.

I don't think I've ever given a bad review.
We took the kids to an early lunch so it wouldn't be packed. There was one other table already there. It took about 5 minutes before anyone got our drinks. After finally ordering our food the place started getting busy and they brought out two of the "Littles" plates, they were almost done eating when I approached the lady at the register, asking where our food was, she came over after checking and said it'll be right out. The other kids food came out and they asked what David and I ordered so we reordered. Brittney sent hers back because it was wrong, I have no idea what they brought her but it wasn't what she ordered, they took it back and still brought out the wrong food, she just ate it :/ David and I still hadn't gotten our food yet. The kids were completely done eating and they brought out David's California burrito and the steak was so burnt he couldn't chew it. I ordered 3 steak tacos on corn tortilla, add cheese, onions, pico, and cilantro. I got steak on a flour tortilla. . . I just settled for the flour and I asked for the side stuff because I didn't want to send it back. In our 3 hours there we had to ask for a refill three diffrent times.
But on a positive note...
The chips were good :)

Food was bad...service was slow and then rude cashiers! Well I'll start by saying the food had no flavor and was extremely greasy (shrimp chimichanga) but the worst part was the people at checkout. Very rude and incompetent.... Ran my card at least three times and then wanted to get smart when I questioned her on it....won't be back!

Sorry excuse for Mexican food.

Authentic. I've lived in Mexico, and the southern border of Texas and Arizona for 6 years. This is by far the most authentic Mexican restaurant in town. It reminds me of the border runs we used to make to little Mexican dives just over the border for the great food. Great place!

Authentic tastes. Quick service. Very reasonable prices.

I like it!. I really like Camino Grande... Their chips and salsa are TERRIFIC! I like them as much or more than the other two mexican restaraunts in town. Wait staff has always been quick, efficient, and friendly, and we've been there dozens of times. GREAT salsa!
Jason Wiener
Chips and salsa were good. Everything else ... eh.

OK, but not the best. Camino Grande is just not quite as good as either Mi Mexico or Mi Casita. The food is okay but just not up to the standard of the other two. The service is slower and not as attentive as you will find in the other two Georgetown Mexican restaurants. The building is old and has seen better days. We went there last night for the first time in about a year just to see if things had improved, but unfortunately, no such luck. It was an okay dinner, nothing special at all. This place is not awful; it's not even "bad". It's just not as good as it's competition.
