Always wanted to check this place out and now that I moved to Milwaukee, I finally did! My salad was delicious and the bread rolls were too! I love the idea of a gift store inside as well. Bought a birthday gift while I was there.
The only thing I would say went wrong was the bathrooms. There were
Got a nice big steak, big salad, mashed and fresh fruit for about $14, was super good, also got a plum iced tea, that was really good as well. Ocean was our waitress and she was working a lot of tables and did it all with a smile and was very nice. Thanks!
Multiple issues and wow I am stunned:
Took 5 minutes to even be acknowledged at host stand (we were the only people in line from entering to being sat)
Host took us to a section full of dirty tables, turned around and took us to a dirty table that clearly needed to be wiped and sanitized, set menu
Very strange way to run a restaurant. Entrees came out before appetizer waitress was very unknowlegeable about the menu and had to ask for silverware and napkins ( or else may have not had anything to eat with). Country fried steak was burned very weird way to conduct service
We waited about 30-35 mins. To eat .....The macNcheese was good, the fish could've been cooked harder, the biscuits were good, the Cornbread was dry and cardboard like, the greens were not seasoned and also distasteful, the potatoes were dry.... the service "Bre" provided was excellent she made the
We first visited Cracker Barrel in 2016 on our trip to Atlanta. We love this place and ambience so much that we always visit the stores for lunch when we travel.
Not the best this time. Waitress extremely slow to come back and tell me that my order was made fresh and therefore it took way longer. We sat for about 40min. Even customers at table next to us commented about how long it was taking. Asked for cornbread and did not get it, only brought out biscuits
We know the pandemic caused a shortage of wait staff but this was ridiculous. Sat down and waited 10 minutes before someone acknowledged us. Brought us water 5 minutes later and took our order. We sat their about 35 minutes and the girl came back and asked how everything was and we said we haven'
