Excellent food! The burgers here are exceptional. This is one of our weekly stops for our family and we always bring out of town guests here to enjoy a great local establishment. The shakes are off the charts as well!
Love this place! We moved to Gig Harbor from Seattle where we had a myriad of amazing burger choices. We come here whenever we’re missing one of our fav Seattle burger spots. Ingredients are quality and I love the shoestring fries.
The best burgers and shakes. They have great soups and salads. The ingredients are super fresh. Better than any burgers I had elsewhere. We were just passing through and found this place on zomato. Will try to visit on next trip to Seattle.

This isn’t your typical burger shop. In a culture where advertising isn’t always what it seems and the pictures don’t always reflect what you get, in this case they really did get it right: These burgers are gourmet. The moment we took our first bite it was evident that these burgers are made with quality ingredients. The meat has a better texture and flavor and is accompanied by fresh ingredients like thick-cut crisp tomatoes and a variety of leafy greens. Other touches that stand out are the locally made hamburger buns baked fresh daily, aged Tillamook cheddar, quality gorgonzola and the thickest-cut bacon you’ve ever seen on a burger.

I will go back!. I actually live in N Seattle, but am over in Kitsap almost every weekend, and I would make a point of visiting this establishment again on my way home (I heard they were moving too, so hopefully they'll be less off the beaten path). I was craving a burger and this is the place we stumbled upon that night. Oddly enough, once I got there, the vegetarian burger sounded more amazing than anything else; and it was delicious (Potato, pesto, goat cheese, how can you go wrong?)!! My BBQ chips were also really good! My dining companions tried other burgers and onion rings and fries and I got to sample all of it, everything was delicious! My tomato was actually red! My lettuce wasn't iceburg! Since we were specifically looking for new places to eat that night we dined in, and it was a bit chilly(door doesn't shut itself and several people left it open), and I can see how we would have had a problem if it had been too crowded. The seating is limited inside, but I would stop an pick stuff up to take with me too!! Must try!! And good luck to them in their new location, wherever it may be!
Simply the BEST burgers EVER!! And not only great burgers, but awesome oysters, crab cakes, incredible potato salad, and delish beet chips! I can't eat a burger at another place without longing for one from The Gourmet Burger Shop.
Don't let the humble appearance of the place fool you. Inside you will find the most glorious burgers you've ever tasted. Brioche buns are freshly made daily by the bakery across the street and the meat is juicy and never dry. Flavors are bold and daring without being pretentious, and portions are generous. Don't miss the bacon blue cheese potato salad!!! This restaurant is truly the gem of the key peninsula! You would definitely regret not stopping by...
Best Burger by Miles for Miles Around. Great Selection, Fabulous Value. A location nearer GH would make a mint!!! Best Hamburger I've had in years, and Excellent fries. Worth the drive.
Yum. Picture your best day on the grill, with all the toppings you always forget, and your very own deep fat fryer. It seats about 10 inside, and 10 outside on the patio. But the meat is no presto patty and the buns are almost like kaiser rolls. Even my two kids inhaled their bugers. We had the Classic, a Bacon Cheddar and a Gorgonzola Avocado. Shoestring fries are so thin, you could lace up with one. Onion rings were mouth-melting O's of joy. We will be back. With friends. Still need to try the beet chips!
An excellent burger. The Gourmet Burger Shop serves up excellent angus burgers on local bakery rolls and they are +++'s beyond any other local eatery. They have a gorgonzola and avocado burger, a mushroom swiss burger with truffled aioli sauce, an all american burger with cheddar cheese to name a few of the options. For vegetarians they have a grilled portotabella burger that my husband thinks is exquisite and he's not a vegetarian. I love the all american burger because the taste is superb and the quality of the beef excels, far surpassing any burger joint. You can have beet chips cole slaw or shoestring herb fries--all made on the premises with each order. Each burger is under $9 and they have no freezer so it's all made fresh. 5 stars in my book!!
On a whim we decided to go here instead a fast foot joint and I’m glad we did! What a cool place in an awesome location. Plus the food is super tasty and was cooked crazy fast! They also have a fun selection of glass bottle drinks (non-alcoholic) that my kids loved. We will for sure be coming back here in the future!
Delicious!! Mushroom Swiss burger was excellent. Got a side Caesar and it had homemade croutons that was really made it more than a side salad. Tons of drinks to choose from- soda, root beer, wine, beers, soda floats, milkshakes. Service was very nice too!
This is a great little joint. Fantastic burgers and a diverse selection of libations to boot. My kids absolutely love the angel hair fries fried with garlic cloves and I normally dip mine in the garlic truffle mayo. Haven't had a bad meal from here🤙🏽
Superb service and an even better burger. Huge selection of craft sodas, including cane sugar options. If you’re thinking about showing up close to closing, consider calling ahead because they have seasonal hours.
Awesome place. Unique burgers that are actually really well put together and the ingredients compliment each other. Huge drink & classic bottled soda collection. Fries are 10/10.

Great burgers and great sides! I ordered the lettuce wrap potato burger. I was pleasantly surprised how great the flavor were! High prices for burgers but worth every penny! The wait staff was helpful and very friendly. Can’t wait to go back

I am normally not a huge burger eater but I absolutely inhaled my mushroom swiss burger. It was so well seasoned. I've never had anything like it!
The fries were delicious and the portion was huge. The to-go container was packed to the brim with fries and full cloves of roasted garlic.
Will definitely be back!
