Awesome fathers Day. The food was amazing rich and flavorful. The wait staff were friendly and attentive and the pricess very reasonable. Over looking the sound made the meal even more wonderful. Would definitely come back again
Lovely meal, although I question if the pasta is made in-house. Good wine selection, although our server was not very good...a bit loud and interrupted our conversation a number of times when it wasn't really appropriate. But lovely restaurant, unassuming from the street.
The atmosphere is wonderful whether for a romantic evening or an any day meal. Service is excellent. The menu has a nice variety of entrees and salads that are just delicious!
The food is tasty, Although incredibly oily. View was nice.
Absolutely the best .... My husband and I ate at Massimo's in University Place for the first time yesterday. Oh my, what a delightful ambience and such great food. Their lunchtime Rigatoni con Salsiccia is excellent. I cannot wait to go back for dinner and try their Chicken Marsala!

Birthday Celebration. Last night was Annette's birthday. Per her request we went to Massimo's in Purdy out on Henderson Bay.
Unlike today, it was beautiful and warm. A perfect day for the Northwest.
Annette and I both ordered the special: Steak Medallions served with linguini and spinach.
After already eating too much bread and caprese salad, I wasn't sure I was going to have any room for my main course. But after my first bite I was sold. Some how I found room to completely clean my plate in record time. What absolutely pulled this dish together was the roasted garlic, aged parmigiano-reggiano, and ample butter sauce that blanketed my plate. The steak was done right, just tender enough to enjoy, but not too rare that the juices from the steak compromised the buttery sauce.
(Just a side note, the sauce was so good, I considered cleaning my plate with a piece of bread to make sure I didn't miss a thing, but I did not. My mother would have died if she would have found out.)
My wine, "REDS laruen wine", was the perfect pairing to this dish. Light enough to have two glasses, but with just enough body to stand up to the steak.
Our night was completed with a joyful song of "Happy Birthday" to Annette, and shared dish of vanilla ice-cream with chocolate drizzle. (No room for any thing else)
Between prompt and polite service, beautiful views, good prices and the amazing meal. I give the night 10 stars.
My only suggestion: Please move this restaurant to Seattle, so I don't have to drive an hour for a good Italian meal.
Thank you again for reading my piece, and Happy Birthday Annette!
Sincerely,
Pearl Found By the Sea
Simply Charming!. What a delightful treat to finally have a decent restaurant in the old Pearls By the Seat site. We went through a lot of toads before this little prince arrived. The latest remodel gives a nice cozy feeling; the service is very good; nice menu selection at reasonable prices; best Mojito ever...What is not to like! Several visits, including my birthday celebration and a sisters' lunch, have all been very pleasant. Bellisimo! (or however it's spelled)
Great food and service. Had pan seared duck and beef medialons in gorgonzola. Both wewould order again. Pannacotta for dessert fantastic. Definitely a place to visit again. Watching sunset from table just added to the meal.
I went there with my Mom be brother at the en of our dinner the waitress asks us if we want desert we reply no. She says ok then u can leave! We are confused cause we didn't pay our check yet, the waitress says an annonomys person paid for your check. We were all suprised. I had meerly a pizza. It is a fantastic restitaunt and I would certainly go again!
Worth the ride out there. Very much like a NY fine Italian restaurant. The food is fresh, delicious and savory. The salads are wonderful as are the sauces and pasta. This is a gem!
Lunch is also a lovely surprise. And the view - is to die for!
