If you haven't been here - GO! The food is amazing. You'll be happy with anything you order! If you don't like how it tastes as is, there's plenty of sauces you'll love. The homemade root beer which is worth going for in itself. There's a root beer cake too (if you have room, the food portions are very generous!) which I'd definitely recommend. All around a great place full of great people!
I was amazed at the quality of food at the airport. Nice staff and killer breakfast tacos! Nice to get my smoke fix in the morning :)
Joes has the best service and wonderful food. We have never had a bad experience here and you must have the lemon cake!!
Never a disappointment! Best brisket I have ever had, homemade Root beer yum. Outdoor seating was wonderful. The employees were very prompt in cleaning up as patrons left. Love this place. We took out of town guests and have family coming in in April and will be going back.

Best BBQ in town. I recommend the sampler. With pulled pork, brisket, ribs and chicken with hot BBQ sauce.
We walked in and the farmland decor is fantastic. The staff greated us and explained how to order and we tried the sampler. The food was amazing! Walking to our seats everyones plates looked filled to the rim also. A must go while in Arizona. Thanks for the fun lunch.
My family and I were visiting from California. This place is awesome! The bbq was great. And then they make their own sodas there. My wife hasn't had a soda in over 3 years and had a drink from my root beer. She was amazed. Good thing I don't live here or I would weigh 500 lbs...keep up the great work!
I had this for at the airport and it was the best bbq and Mac and cheese I have ever had. If it wasn’t that good at the airport I can not wait to try to restaurant. See you soon

The atmosphere here is really nice. It's a nice relaxing atmosphere inside and outside.
I ordered a few side dishes. The spicy coleslaw, the collard greens but I actually when I ordered them thought I was ordering green beans. And the potato salad. Over where the beverages that were they had condiments. There was cooked onion 🧅 diced. I put that on the coleslaw I put it on the potato salad it was so good. All the sides tasted homemade.
For an entree I ordered the meat platter which gave me an option to take two different meats. I ordered the fatty brisket and pork ribs. The ribs were good but the brisket was amazing.
Took a friend out to an early dinner. The food was good. The portions are decent. The atmosphere is friendly. It's definitely a cafeteria style eating. Fountain drinks are available. Plenty of condiments are offered. Cobbler is good. The lemon cake is wonderful. Rootbeer float was nice. Don't know if it would be a place to go back and try something else. But overall, it's not bad.
I have eaten here for over 18 years. It never disappointed me once. If you like BBQ, you will be happy, but if you love BBQ, you will be back! I had the pulled pork baked potato, and I have never been able to finish it. The brisket is very good, but I think that everything is good here. Great location for family. I will return.
This place is a must, very good food and awesome atmosphere! The service was great, the place was clean and the food is served cafeteria style. The meat sampler plate is great! Will definitely be back here again. Up there with one of my all time favorites Little Miss BBQ!
Have been here several times with my spouse, but my favorite is when friends and family come to visit and we can all share the BBQ Feast at $72 (Oct 2023) as it is a great sampler with lots of food to share!
Personal favorites of mine are the pulled pork, baked potato, gold bbq sauce, and their pickles.
BBQ Sauce, pickles, honey butter, salted butter, and soda are all self serve.

This bbq is incredible!! We both got the Big Baker and I got the pulled pork, it was freaking delicious!! My hubs got Elote and put that on the Baker!! He absolutely loved it!! We loved our little lunch date at the benches eating amazing food!!
My first time visiting. 6:00 at night and the place was packed but the line moved very quickly. Lots of choices for smoked meats and ways to eat them. Plenty of sides and desserts and seating for all.
As a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Gilbert area we LOVE Joe's Barbecue!! It is so good and so unique! I love the food here!
Hard to be in Phoenix and not get BBQ from Joe's- if you passed on Joe's, you didn't do Phoenix right. From Triple D fame, Joe's completely lived up to expectations. We went to Joe's twice during our days in Gilbert, and then ordered in, it was THAT good.
If you're a first-timer at Joe's, I highly recommend the 4 Meat Sampler (inclusive of Ribs, Pulled Pork, Chicken leg and breast, as well as a few strips of Brisket). You get all the goods with that order. Fully rounded. Perhaps the most underrated star of our order was the Mac and Cheese side. Unbelievably tasty. Cornbread was the best cornbread I've had...ever. we ordered a pulled pork sandwich one night, which was good but a little underwhelming.
If you sit on the outside patio, you can check out the industrial size smokers they have. It's a sight to see. Great outdoor space with picnic tables for family, dates, and friends. Right on the Old Town strip so lots to do in the area as well.
We came in at 6pm on a Saturday. Line out the door, took about 40 minutes to get our food. Very worth it! Prices were fair, and food was delicious!
