From the moment I stepped out of my car I could smell the smokers that made our brisket covered with swooshes of fat cap. The massive yet tender spare ribs that shimmered and offered a touch of natural sweetness. The mesquite smoked sausage mixed with jalapeño and creamy cheddar cheese was juicy. The Corn Casserole made with cornbread, sour cream, and hatch green chilies was a crowd favourite. I must say that I loved the pickles, and sweet red peppers in the creamy Caldwell Potato Salad. I can’t speak highly enough about the great service and nice people working here. Loved having lunch on the patio and the entire experience.

Originally came in to buy a gift card for a family member’s graduation since he loves this place. I asked if they had any physical gift cards which they do. They pointed me to the very nice and helpful cashier and to my surprise there having a gift card sale where if you buy at this point in time 100$ gift card u get an extra 20$. After getting the gift card the Front end butcher gave me a free sample after.and I knew then I had to get something.Very great explanation had the el general Patton slider and side Mac and cheese with coleslaw. All the meats where tender greatly seasoned Mac and cheese was pretty good not to much of a fan of coleslaw but this was pretty good. Would come again.

We have finally found our BBQ place after years of searching. We live over 30 mins away and it was well worth the trip. We got the Pavo and El General Patton and was amazed at the fact we could ask for it to be lean. We also got the casserole, Mac and cheese and coleslaw. Everything was absolutely delicious! We especially enjoyed the Mac and Cheese. Highly recommend!

I let pictures speak for themselves! Really digging the pulled pork and rack of ribs, super tender and juicy! Prime brisket on the other hand, was a bit dry the night we tried it. The spicy and sweet sauce is da bomb, can’t stop pouring it on top of the meats! Coleslaw is zesty! Great friendly service. Overall highly recommended! My only wish is if they would add some more deep fried side orders like fried okra or fried jalapeños or fried green tomatoes to go with da BBQ… Texas style ☺️

We just moved to Arizona and I am so happy my husband found this restaurant. We have had dinner already twice at this place, and we love it. The food is amazing, the staff is super attentive and kind, plus the atmosphere is great, even our two kids enjoy it and they love the decorations. There's outdoor and indoor seating area. I'm definitely going back.

Update: OK team - I went back today. I went at non-traditional BBQ hours 2:15pm. Place was packed. And honestly - rightfully so. My first go-round here was CLEARLY not representative of this BBQ - because today was AWESOME. Order: 1) 1.5lbs of brisket - mouthwateringly good. Like really really good. I’d comp it at LA BBQ in Austin good. 2) 1lb of Pulled Pork. Excellent. Still not Memphis good, but also doing a different thing. The cook was perfection. 3) Rack O’ Ribs. It feels sacrilegious to say these are better than Memphis ribs. But they were. And are. So perfectly rendered. That would surprise me in Texas, let alone Arizona. But yeah. That good. 4) Sides: Beans and Mac. Both were great. Mixed, even better. How do I summarize, because I clearly had an average experience my first time through. Today was skilled BBQ. This wasn’t an accident, it wasn’t a fluke. I’d call my first trial here a fluke. And I’ll be back. And I’ll try the Mexi-Que. and I’ll be back again. I’ll leave my original feedback below, but please please give this a try or ten. I’ll be back. I expect you to as well. Also my pictures are bad. But it is because we just started crushing it before I could snap. Original (READ ABOVE FIRST - OPINION DRASTICALLY CHANGED) The BBQ is “not bad.” I don’t give this a ringing Texas endorsement, but it certainly does the trick if you don’t want to be smoking for 12 hours. Definitely eat in house - would not recommend to-go. Brisket 6/10 a bit dry. Especially the flat. Ribs 7/10 pretty good. Sides 7/10. Across the board i think there is room to improve.

We ordered the Brisket and it's so good. The meat is so tender and is properly seasoned, and not too salty. Just avoid the burnt end if you are concerned with your sodium since that part is too salty for me to

Wow! It was delicious! Got the brisket, pulled pork and sausage link sandwich! Its a big sandwich! (I couldn't finish it because I finished my sides and took half of it home and enjoyed later! The mac and cheese side was delicious! My co worker let me taste his corn bread side and might I add I am not a corn bread guy... it was delicious! BBQ sauces are good as well! Come try this place out. I highly recommend it! I will be back!
