From other reviews it sounds like this place has very authentic italian pizza. I really don't know if that true or not but it did seem authentic. However, my taste buds are very Americanized and I'd probably prefer a pizza from Pizza Hut just to be honest. Again but bad just different. The main reas
Pomo Pizzeria Review
Great atmosphere, friendly staff and good food 4 ½ - 5 Stars. All my reviews are unsolicited and unsponsored. Read full review below:
Pomo Pizzeria in the Heritage District of downtown Gilbert. It’s been open for a few years now, but this is the first opportunity I've had to
Not a bad Italian place. Made the mistake of going on a Saturday night. The place was mobbed. The Rice Balls were good and I the sauce was very tasty. The Tagaletelli Bolognese was good but could have a bit more spice to it. The Lasagna was better. Because the place was so busy, part of our order ne
Pomo has a great vibe and is a perfect fit in downtown Gilbert. I love to sit on the outside of the bar for great people watching. Pretty straightforward menu starring mostly pizza with some salads and a handful of pasta dishes.
They have two different styles of pizza, a classic Neapolitan style an
Fantastic food! I'll start with the good. Pizza? Incredible. We had the prosciutto arugula pizza and it was to die for. My husband had calamari and said it was great. Drinks were good. Bar tender was friendly.
The disappointing:
Service was pretty slow, and when we only ordered one drink, our waitr
Food and service was really good. Went around 2:00 and there were only 3 tables total with customers. Food came out quickly and none of us had any complaints. Crispy brick oven style pizza with yummy toppings.
You need to go here! Popped in for lunch and ordered the Bufala Pizza absolutely the best pizza I have had since my trip to Italy! The perfect balance of sauce and cheese and oh that crust!😍 I can’t wait to go back again. Oh, and fabulous cocktails too!
Yesterday, my sister, my friend, and I had a late lunch here-it was our first time and we really enjoyed it! My sister and I had the Chicken Milnea paninni (spelling?) and our friend had the Principe pizza. Everything was delicious! AND to top it off, Marshall (our waiter) was sooo knowledgeable, su
This pizza is straight out if Italy light airy very thin but when u bite into it, it's like the 4th of July explosion going on in my taste buds
Certified Italian food with an Italian stone oven! Best pizzas in Gilbert hands down, and great craft cocktails. Also check out their happy hour from 3 to 6.
A nice atmosphere in downtown Gilbert that offers quality Neapolitan style pizza. The bar is nice, there is other seating along Gilbert road, and they also offer takeout. Besides pizza they have really amazing meatballs. Prices are reasonable for the quality of food. The Quattro Formagi is my favori
Place is new (neon sign partially broken and nobody seemed to care?) Clean, nice, staff just fine. Food was fast, hot, very good. Place is Pricey.. $22 before tax for a single, personal pizza, water. Welcome to Covid pricing and inflation. Happy to go back. Good food
Went in for lunch, very inexpensive! There was a $10 “veloce” lunch. Very good portion for the price. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options available. Didn’t order a pizza, but they looked absolutely delish! Had the caprese, WOW and YUM! Left with a full tummy and had leftovers for dinner. W
This is authentic Italian pizza. I would know, I ate it all the time when I lived in Southern Italy for 2 years. If you're looking for Papa John's style pizza, go there instead. These pizzas are meant to be the way they are with quality ingredients and light, fresh, perfectly balanced ingredients. A
Really good pizza, great atmosphere and the managers seem very nice as well. I'd definitely recommend coming here with some friends and getting some pies.
