I came here with a friend and we had a few dishes. It was my first time here and I am sure I will return. The food was so good and fresh and also very nice looking. Just be mindful that they close at 2 o’clock and they reopen for dinner later.

I have to say this is in my top 3 sushi restaurant choices in Arizona. I've reviewed and been to many sushi spots, and I am consistent in what I am looking for. First, how busy is the restaurant when I come in? When I went in, I was the first that day right at opening. The service was quick, and I felt like there were a good range of options. The second thing I consider is how pricy each item is. I found that the prices were very reasonable. If I can get a sushi roll around $5 or less, that's a great find. Luckily, you can get away with spending $10 per person. Lastly, I judge the food it's self. A spicy salmon handroll is always my go-to. It's a great roll to pick when you want to consider texture, flavor, and portion size. Everywhere I go, everyone does it a little differently. In this case, the texture was minced and creamy. The flavor was interesting, as I could taste the Sriracha in the first bite, but I couldn't tell if they mixed their salmon with anything spicy or not. This is a good indicator to tell if their spicy rolls will have a kick or not. The size was great, I felt like I got a good portion of fish. I did order a calamari appetizer as well as their stuffed mushroom. Everything came out hot and fresh, and the flavors were great. The stuffed mushrooms.... were stunning. Overall, this cozy restaurant was wonderful, and I'd recommend it to anyone who likes a chill, comforting environment. The sushi is great, the service and prices match just perfectly.

Pork belly, smoke salmon sushi and scallion sashimi! We've been ordering from here for 8 years and have never been disappointed! My kids love the fried calamari, kids honey chicken and the avocado roll! This place is 100% about the food! We always order for pickup so can't comment on the dining experience. Highly recommended!

Came across the restaurant by accident, but so glad we did! Great service, great food, beautiful presentation! We ordered salmon sashimi and it was so buttery and delicious. Las Vegas roll was so good! 10/10 would recommend!!

Would definitely return. All of the rolls that we tried were good. The teriyaki chicken and the yakitori chicken tasted suspiciously similar. The gyoza was good. We had 3 people waiting on us. It seemed like either all of them were trying to help us at once or none of them were helping us for extended periods of time. Perhaps there is a risk that everyone thinks someone else is covering when multiple people are assigned to a table.

Let me start out by saying that I tried to eat at this restaurant yesterday. I showed up at 8:45 and nobody was there. It was closed even though it clearly shows they were open till 9:30. This is frustrating, but I thought I would give them a second chance. The restaurant is small inside seating about 40 at tables and about 12 at the bar. When I walked in I had multiple employees look over at me, not one said anything. I sat there uncomfortably waiting for someone to greet and seat me. It took a minute or two, but I was finally seated. The restaurant seemed clean although the walls could use a coat of paint. After being seated I was handed a erasable menu and a drink was offered. Unfortunately the waitress was very timid and didn't explain that it was reverse happy hour and didn't mention the 3 roll combo to me. I figured it out, but restaurants should always ask if it is your first time and explain the intricacies of their restaurant. I order 3 rolls. The Crunch roll Tootsy roll and the Crazy Shrimp roll. The Crunch roll and Tootsy we're okay. For the price the were good. The Crazy Shrimp roll was by far the best roll, although the most expensive as well. My meal came to $25, which was a decent price (although two of the rolls were cheaper because of the reverse happy hour). Was this the best sushi I have had?? No, but overall I was full and happy so I would recommend giving them a try. If they would engage with the customers a little better and give the walls a new coat of paint it would make this restaurant shine.

First time being there and it was delicious. We had the lollipop roll and butterfly roll and both were on point. Fresh, light and perfect. We will definitely be coming back.

I ordered to go but had a quick appetizer while I waited. The girls serving were so attentive and sweet! You don't see this often in restaurants anymore. Very kind hearted, and providing service with a genuine smile. Joe, James, and Jason were the sushi chefs. Awesome characters! It was my first time sitting alone at the sushi bar and I will 100% come here again. The food I took home was amazing, even after I left, pumped gas, and then got home, the miso soup was still very hot. Perfect to serve. I'm so happy this place is only a few blocks from my house.

I come here all the time, and it has never disappointed. The service is so great and everyone is so nice. I really love the decor and the pictures of their sushi, they even give you a nice little book with pictures of the menu. The green tea ice cream is a great way to finish off the delicious sushi. I have probably gotten sushi here twenty times and never been dissatisfied, and I have brought so many people here who also love it!! The prices are so good and I can't wait to go again soon.

Original Review from 4 years ago: My Fiancée and I spent $50 on food between the both of us and it was worth every penny. The sushi rolls were delicious, the shrimp was good, and the ramen bowl I had was awesome. New review: I’ve been coming here with a friend or two for years and have never been disappointed. The owner is polite, kind, and attentive and the food is still absolutely delicious. I love that no matter how much food we order; everything comes out in waves, rather than getting everything on the table at once. I highly recommend their eel rolls!

The sushi was great and there was a huge selection. The food was priced great and easily filled me up with $10 I would go back with a party because it's such a good deal. The food came quickly and was a great quality. If you have any lucky eaters the menu is large enough you could find something for them
