Rudy’s Is as American as Apple Pie and Baseball. Great tasting BBQ on this side of the East Valley. Friendly staff and a very clean place to eat. So bring the family for lunch or dinner. Highly recommend this place to Family and friends. The best part on this is it’s 5 minutes from my home So come on over ! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Tried the new Rudy's Texas BBQ on Baseline and Higley by the Banner Gateway Hospital. It's ala cart based, you buy the meats by the 1/2 lb. Increments. Then add any beer, soda or tea along with cold salads and deserts. it's picnic style dining along with picnic benches and a few tables and chairs. We tried the Turkey, baby back ribs, lean brisket and pulled pork with cole slaw and corn on the cob and one brownie. Costs the two of us about $40.00 and was a fun country atmosphere, will be back another day.
Really good BBQ food and atmosphere. We had the brisket, turkey, and baby backs. Everything was outstanding. The biggest plus out here in AZ is that they have legit sweet tea!!! Their potato salad is also one of the best restaurant recipes that I’ve had.
Great food, and super friendly staff. They always do a brisket right! If you’re a fan of Texas style barbecue, you’re gonna love this place! By far, one of my favorites!!!
The Gilbert Grand opening was great! Super friendly welcoming committee! The foot was to par with all of the other stores I’ve been too! Super delicious!! We had the pulled pork sandwich, the regular sausage and pork ribs! And I can’t forget the cream corn! Thumbs up!

I came here at the recommendation for my younger brother in law who grew up in Arizona. The place was spacious and the design is enjoyable. Probably because of the time thst ee came (around 3 pm) as the place was not too crowded. I ordered the baby back ribs, brisket dry, corn on the cob, and the potatoes. All for a little over US$30. The food was delicious.
I’m not the biggest bbq guy. I got the turkey sandwhich. The meat is so tender and melts out of the sandwhich 👌 The regular sissy sauce (bc I don’t do well with hot) was delicious. Perfect balance of mild heat and sweetness.
Soooo delicious! I got the brisket sandwich and potato salad. Sandwich was Delicious the potato salad didn't have to much flavor and wasn't very thick. Definitely trying the chicken and beans next time.
I hate to do it because Rudy's rocks, but as of June 1, 2023, any food establishment that asks for a tip for carryout or take it to your own table service is getting a star deducted.
Pay your people and stop teaching them to expect extra for the basics in the service industry.
EDIT: why has the crust on my meat tasted like Sterno the last two weeks?
I still keep wondering in amazement why this place is not more crowded. Casual Sunday afternoon, great bbq meat, good home cooked style food. Country music playing and TVs on with a baseball game playing. Couldn't get more American than this, except hardly any people here.
I hired Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q catering for my wife’s birthday party dinner last night with family. 👨👩👧👦 👨👩👧👧 Everyone loved the meal. The brisket, ribs, 🐽 pulled pork, cobbler, 🍑 and sides were spectacular! ❤️

A nice and laidback rustic BBQ joint. The pork ribs and brisket are awesome! Super tender and flavorful. I really like the spicier BBQ sauce but my husband wished there were more flavors. Overall the value is good considering you can pick how much food you want because it’s weighed and sold by the pound.

The breakfast burritos are so good here! You can get them made to order in the normal line or you can quickly get premade ones at the to-go counter just inside the door. The BBQ here is solid too. The prime rib is my favorite.
Best breakfast burritos in my opinion! Love that they are pre made and ready to grab and go. The chopped and brisket ones are my personal favorite but you can’t go wrong with any of them and some Rudy’s sauce. Lunch and dinner menu is just as excellent
Had the"moist" brisket sandwich and it was among the best brisket I've ever had! Very moist and great smokie flavor. A generous helping as well. The potatoe salad was very good too. Can't wait for the Scottsdale location to open!

Excellent smoked meats served fast, fresh and hot. Their sides aren't half bad either. Served traditional style on butcher paper. Easily feed a family of 6 for under $40. Bread is provided at no cost and their bbq sauce is the best around.
