The brisket sandwich was excellent and the coleslaw. For some reason it it much better that the one in Independence. Atmosphere is great too and our waitress was outstanding. We will drive over there again soon. We went to the original one on North Oak Traffic way.
My wife and I had our first date there December of 1992. We celebrated our 25th Anniversary a couple of days ago. We ordered the beef burnt ends platter with French fries, pit beans, and coleslaw. Service was great. Our waitress kept our drinks full, and even gave us free dessert (carrot cake) for our special occasion. The burnt ends were lean and super smokey delicious. The pit beans had chunks of meat in them, and they kicked butt. French fries were fresh out of the fryer. Great coleslaw too! If you're in the mood for BBQ, I strongly recommend Smokehouse in Gladstone!

Wonderful BBQ (Baby Back Ribs) Server was polite & quick and very helpful. Good music playing in the background. Everything was clean and when we asked if we could sit elsewhere they were nice about it.
The food presentation was wonderful, also the service was impeccable, atmosphere was impressive.

We are from out of town and asked a local where we could get some good BBQ. She recommended Smokehouse. Nice, quiet experience. Clean and welcoming. Food was good but service was better. I'm sad I didn't get her name, our server was very attentive but not overbearing. She was fast and friendly. Prices were a little high but overall a good experience.
Sweet corn bites were great and the sauces were crazy good. The actual BBQ was delicious and the food came out of the kitchen before we could finish our first beer. The service was delightful. Would come back again.
I love this place! They have the best baby back ribs around. The other day I was there an elderly gentleman fell outside, I think every employee in that place came out to help him. I was so very impressed. This their food is consistently good for the last 15 years.
