I will be going back i had a great experience my cocktail was perfect the show from our personal chef was great and the food was delicious
Best sushi ever. I don’t go anywhere else. Penny the bartender is amazing too!!!
My first visit today with my daughter. The food and service were outstanding. Will enjoy going back to sample more wonderful food.
Drinks from the bar were great, food was amazing and our hibachi cook was the best I've ever had out of all the places I've been. Restaurant looked very clean and beautifully decorated! All around a great place!
Absolutely delicious food! The hibachi chefs are very entertaining! Don't hesitate to go and then go again!
I feel like we got there a little early for Hibachi. We sat down and there was no one else on that side of the restaurant. Made for some nice pictures though!
Soon the tables started to fill. We sat with a couple other groups at our table and then the show began.
For starters, we had the usual soup and salad. (which are both delicious!) And we ordered the California roll. Perfect amount of crab and avocado. Finally, the main course was fantastic. The steak was cooked to perfection and the veggies, chicken, rice, and noodles were perfectly portioned and tasty!
And finally, the wait-staff and chef were phenomenally kind and attentive.
Pretty good hibachi restaurant. Ordered the steak and chicken hibachi combo with a scorpion bowl! Also got crab sushi. Was expecting real crab tho. Overall not a bad place to check out. Food was made quick!
Came here for my birthday dinner. Sat with a family who was loud and unappreciative, which made the cook switch his demeanor real quick (1 sake squirt, not food tricks) Wasn’t my average hibachi experience. Food was okay. WAY too much lemon on the chicken. Not sure if they use it for flavor or to cover up something. Never had lemon juice in any hibachi style before 🧐
Ahh.. Sakura Garden, how I love this place. Sakura is my traditional birthday dinner place to eat. I've been to this one and the Windsor one; they're both fantastic. If you don't leave this place without a grin on your face, I'd be shocked.
Service:
- We've done hibachi every time so I can't comment on sit-down. Hibachi servers are just fantastic. Fun, entertaining, and excellent chefs.
- If there's a birthday, they make sure you have a great time and even the other guests/customers are good company.
- They ask how you want your meat cooked and actually cook it to that which is probably one of the rarer things to see in restaurants.
Food:
- Food is fantastic. Superb. Honestly never had a single bad thing to say about the food they cook, it's all done in front of you so what you see is literally what you get.
- Hibachi includes rice of choice, meat, salad, and a soup.
- I've tried the steak, chicken, and salmon before and it was never a bad move, you can't go wrong with what you pick.
- If you like noodles, YOU MUST add the noodles to the hibachi dinner ($3 extra); I don't think I've ever had as good noodles as the hibachi freshly cooked ones in front of you. You also get a TON, TRUST ME GET THE NOODLES!
- Use the YUM YUM sauce, it's almost liquid gold.
- Quantity is in no despair, you will probably go home with leftovers.
- Quality is also not lacking, did I mention the food is amazing?
- At about $24-30 per Hibachi dinner, it may seem steep, but it is money very well spent.
Drinks:
- The volcano bowl is only at the Glastonbury Sakura, $40 and not worth it at all; stick to the scorpion bowl.
- I prefer the Windsor one, drinks are cheaper and the same.
- Every time I've went we get a scorpion bowl for 2; at $20, you're gonna get drunk, you might need to catch an Uber home. If you wanna get plastered, drink it alone!
- With all that said, yeah... the drinks are good.
Other:
- Bathrooms are elegant and clean as a whistle.
- Styling and appearance of the place is upscale, almost fine dining level.
- Got a free birthday desert that was fried ice cream, it was honestly pretty good; thought I wasn't going to be a fan.
For this review, I will compare Ninja, Edo Ichi, and Sakura Garden (Glastonbury). I will post the same review for each, but will rate them individually. ALL 3 PICTURES ARE FROM NINJA. Aesthetically, Ninja wins. Sakura is a close second, and Edo Ichi a distant third (hibachi room is dirty and ugly, to be frank). For food taste and quality all three are very close with the edge going to Edo Ichi. The sushi rolls are equal as far as being fresh and flavorful, however. For cost, Edo Ichi definitely wins. Both Edo Ichi and Ninja include 2 shrimp and noodles with the hibachi entree. At Ninja there is an extra charge for fried rice and at Sakura an extra charge for noodles. There is no shrimp offering with the hibachi entree at Sakura. Both Sakura and Ninja have happy hours. Ninja is the clear cut winner here. For every drink you buy the next one is a penny! The happy hour appetizers (see menu below) are larger and $2 to $3 cheaper than at Sakura. Edo Ichi does not offer a happy hour.
Exceptional 🍣 sushi & Amazingly strong drinks 🍸 we love the chocolate & lemon Martini's
