Unfortunately, we did not have the pleasure of dining in so we had to get take out. The food was still delicious though. We got the crab puffs, rack of lamb, and bouchon. They used to have veal, they should have kept it on there. I liked the crab puffs, very flavorful but for $24 the quantity is lacking. Rack of lamb was cooked beautifully medium rare, a lot of flavor and tender. Bouchon was very good, not sweet and light.

Rare fine dining in the area. 3 courses each and cheap drink easily go over $200 for two. Saying that, the portions are very generous. Arguably could be half the size for similar price. The menu is presented with 3 courses, but you can easily be satisfied with just one. The menu apparently changes frequently based on local availability for different items. We greatly enjoyed our meal. Highly recommend the creamed corn with chorizo and crawfish. Amazing. Duck con fit is fantastic and very tender. The atmosphere and view is relaxing with a great view of the water.

Amazing french restaurant in a condo complex overlooking Lake Michigan. Erin our waitress was exceptional. The food was astounding. The wine divine. The problem was how ridiculously loud tables with more than 2 people are. The ceiling is vaulted and the noise ruins the atmosphere. It was also very warm as the sun set as the restaurant has many windows. The maitre de, we were told is the chef/owner's son. He never smiled when we arrived. Never smiled when we left and thanked him. We were perplexed someone in hospitality, especially related to the owner would not have a more engaging demeanor.

Chose Blu for our family dinner after our wedding ceremony. We had been to Blu a few times before and wanted it to be our special spot. Everything we ordered was great and the staff is always super friendly. They even helped me with a recipe for my favorite mock-tail, The Designated Hitter.

It may take some work to get to Blu, getting a reservation and finding a parking place once you arrive. BUT it is worth it! The views of lake Michigan, the service and the food. Outstanding. Duck liver pate with a cherry gele was great. Cucumber salad with kimchee dressing, fresh pea sprouts and chèvre dusted with fennel pollen. My wife had the house special, Duck confit – outstanding and I had the Rack of Lamb and that too was outstanding. Chocolate Potts de crème is the perfect way to finish off a wonder meal.

This is probably one of my top restaurant experiences I've ever had (even with the large bill at the end)! Went to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and couldn't have been happier! Waiter was extremely pleasant & informative. Place is very small, but we made a reservation a few days before to ensure we had a table. The food was absolutely delicious! We got the wagyu beef & Alaska salmon for main course with crab cakes as an appetizer. The crème brulé & chocolate "pot" (basically choc pudding) melted in your mouth!

Wonderful view of the Manitou island and Lake Michigan are topped off by spectacular food and excellent staff. I had Swordfish with shrimp and lobster sauce, hubby had chef's signature Duck Confit.Crab puff appetizers were just the right start to dinner. Our server Mary was very knowledgeable about the menu and did a great job. Definitely will go back

The service and food and kindness of the staff is just amazing as always. We love the consistency and quality of this wonderful restaurant. We tried the Ahi tuna, gnocchi and smoked whitefish and of course the tater tots for our appetizers. Just light and wonderful. For main courses we tried the white, veal picatta and the halibut. It was so delicious. 5 stars as always! Randy and his wonderful staff will make you always enjoy every minute. Our waitress Lauren was a gem.

Great food experience last night, wonderful atmosphere by Lake Michigan. Would have rated 5 stars if not for the 20 minute wait for our table (even though we arrived at exactly the time of our reservation). Even more puzzling… no seat was offered, no drink was offered, no apologies were offered.

Four of us went to celebrate my birthday. They went out of their way to make it special, especially our server Chrissy. I had the sweet breads for my appetizer and is was delectable! Everyone loved their's as well. I had scallops for my main entrée and they were cooked perfectly! The dessert was excellent as well. The view was beautiful too! I highly recommended this place.

Really wonderful. All of the dishes were made with care, had top ingredients, and were presented beautifully. The setting was spot on. We got lucky being able to get in without a reservation, but don't plan on the same. This is a small restaurant with exceptional food. Get a reservation for sure.

The service at this restaurant was exceptional; our server, Erin, was attentive and helpful with menu selections and we were thanked for our visit by the Chef. Our taste buds were treated to the most sublime flavors, leaving us with cravings to return. Don't miss out on this unforgettable dining experience.

Blu does a fantastic job. My wife and I usually dine here 2-3 times a year and have never been disappointed. Highly recommended if you are in Glen Arbor!

Expensive, but absolutely phenomenal food - definitely worth the price! We had the crab cakes and gnocchi as appetizers, swordfish and duck confit as entrees, and cherry sorbet and chocolate mocha cake for dessert. Highlight of the meal was the duck confit -- the chef is so proud of it that he hands out cards with each one to keep track of how many he's served (I was # 12,440). Also, do yourself a favor and get the chocolate mocha cake - one of the best chocolate cakes I've ever had.
