Really great menu. Lovely patio where they let you dine with your pooch weather permitting. However, many restaurants with patios and dogs bring water and make a little fuss. Nada here. Some mistakes from the kitchen but nothing too bad. I will come back and just lower my expectations a bit!
I was visting from Colorado with my son and daughter in law and was looking for a nice restaurant for us to have a decent meal that wouldn't break the bank but not a place that serves the same old stuff you can get everywhere. Excellent food with a great variety...something for every palette. Service was smooth, no problems. Reasonably priced with nice sized portions. Relaxing atmosphere....not too loud and not too quiet so we were able to carry on a conversation easily without having to compete with backroom noise and chatter. I would highly recommend and I'll definitely go back there on my future visits from Colorado.
If there were more stars to give I would! Had my daughter's baby shower here back in May of 2019. When your searching for a place to have your event you usually look for price, size and how good the food is. They delivered on that and so much more. They will work with whatever you want. Shawn was my banquet manager and she was amazing. She made everything go so smoothly from beginning to end. All the guests and of course the guest of honor commented on how wonderful the day went! Thank You Cedar Creek and Shawn for a great day!
I was there for an after-funeral lunch. That being said, I felt the food was quite good and I tasted everything. There was salmon, skirt skate, chicken parmesan, and pasta with a red sauce along with vegetables, potatoes and a really good green salad. I thought the skirt steak was especially good. Dessert was an apple crisp which was pretty perfect. The service was quite friendly and "homey". I had a Bloody Mary which was below my expectations--but that was my only disappointment.
Favourite restaurant on Long Island. Consistently good food and drinks, and lovely staff with excellent service. Great for large groups and private events, as well as for an impromptu intimate dinner for 2. Shawn the manager is a gem. Will return time and time again!
This is one of our favorite places. The menu is varied and the 'blue plate' specials are always a great choice. Wednesday special is the chicken cutlet parm, pounded thin and generous proportion. The seafood is also excellent. Our waiter, Drew, was extra special and would go back often to be served by him.
High quality American food in a nice looking not pretentious atmosphere. This place pretty much has the best beer selection of any restaurant in the area. If you are a beer fan (or snob) do yourself a favor and try out the beer tasting dinner special on Fridays and Saturdays. Best deal you will find for 3 courses perfectly paired with 3 beers.
I absolutely love this restaurant. The ambiance is excellent. The staff is knowledgeable and very polite. The menu changes every now and then, but the options are always creative and delicious. The specials are always worth trying. Service can be slow at times, but for the most part you are treated very well. A must stop while in Glen Cove
If you enjoy amazing beef short ribs, you are required to try this place. They are undoubtedly among the best I've had at a restaurant and are a must-try for anyone able and ready to experience a small piece of heaven. Nice establishment and service complement an already perfect experience. Prepare for complete satisfaction.
My first time here even though I live less than 3 miles away! We celebrated my daughter's college graduation here last night and we were surprised to see a big crowd even on a Thursday evening. Appetizers were good, the NY Strip I had was perfectly aged and done as I wanted it, desserts very good, and the service fantastic. Overall, very good!
