Review Terrain Garden Cafe - Glen Mills

For starters, the thyme and orange butter is scrumptious. You will scrape every last bit out of the pot to smother it on that perfectly baked bread. My husband loved his burger (with avocado, egg, and bacon) with the truffle fries. My shrimp and grits were amazing. Make sure to take a walk through the garden and nursery afterwards. The scents and greenery are beautiful and relaxing. We'll definitely be back for more.

Really lovely place with a lot of natural light and a rustic vibe. Our servers were wonderful, food came out in a timely manner, and they had a really well-rounded menu including a wide variety of drink options. Only complaint was that the prices were a bit high for what we got, as the presentation of the food was mid and the food itself tasted good but nothing to write home about. However, the bread and orange blossom butter they gave us was really good and the drinks were amazing as well.

My wife wanted to visit here. Staffs were very kind and helpful, and food were great. As a vegetarian, there are many things to eat, and the quality was very good. In addition, the bread in a terracotta pot and lavender butter(!) were an amazing combo. Also, I liked $5 pots of plants.

Food is always good and the waitresses are all nice and pleasant. The only reason I can not give this place 5 stars is because they're obviously understaffed because the wait times for food are very long and this can cause your meal to be cold. If you're unable to staff correctly you really need to make a table adjustment by not booking so many on at a time.

Cutest atmosphere for a restaurant. Bread in a pot was good and unique. Butter was flavored. The burger was good but nothing extraordinary. Breakfast platter was good. Solid food. Ice cream was the best thing we had. Made in house. Best green tea ice cream I’ve had and I’ve tried a lot before. The mango and apple pie scoops were really good too. Our waitress was super friendly. Would go back!

This place was everything I anticipated it would be and more. I can’t believe I lived here my whole life and never went! Brought my mum here for a birthday brunch and we had such a memorable experience. The staff was incredibly pleasant and attentive. Food was unique and fresh -great fried avo benny! We both loved our carrot juice ginger bevy and they brought a delish cookie out with a candle to celebrate my mum. Multiple beautiful venue spaces (indoor and outdoor) are here too. There’s even adorable tents for small dining parties with wood burning stoves that can be reserved at a very affordable price. They also have such a gorgeous variety of plants, flowers, planters, and other garden decor which make it great to shop post dining. Can’t wait to book a future dinner here.

This place is stunning. We came for Valentines dinner, and it was swamped. Our reservation was perfect, they took us a little bit early, even though the store were closed. Our waiter Max was amazing and everything was delicious and we will definitely be coming back over and over again.

An amazing place. Food is excellent and fresh staff is friendly. Everything nicely decorated for Christmas and love that you can also pick up plants. The Cafe is really neat. Can't wait to go back

Beautiful and unique atmosphere combining a high end Home and Garden store with a rustic greenhouse cafe. The Home and garden store prices are in line with Pottery Barn and Anthropologie. As far as the cafe, our server Elizabeth was warm, friendly and attentive. The food although beautifully presented was very underwhelming as far as taste and extremely overpriced. The best part of the meal was the pottery baked bread with maple sage butter and the cafe mocha I had at the end of the meal. The $6 hand cut fries with Parmesan cheese that cost an extra $2 were shareable but hardly worth $8. The chicken croquettes had absolutely no taste and too much potato filler. Definitely not like the ones my mom used to make. I went to scout out a new unique place to host a brunch for my mother’s upcoming 75th birthday but think I will pass on this place. I would considering returning just to try another dish and for the bread and mocha!

A combination of cool home store and garden eatery it was a real treat. You can tell the Anthropologie vibe. The food was good especially enjoyed the Fig Ricotta toast homemade ricotta on top of homemade bread it was delicious. We tried the grape spritzer (non-alcoholic) funny thing we ordered 2 although they did not taste the same but were delicious. I had a burger which was ok the star of the burger was the bacon honestly, my companions has the breakfast board - although egg was a little cold it was good. We also has the BLT which of course rocked again bacon and bread! Wish we would have brought a bottle of wine with us (it is BYOB) but will be back next time in the area I think we will stick to the toasts!

We came here to celebrate my birthday early the day before Thanksgiving. We had reservations in the greenhouse room which was so pretty! It was very lively in the restaurant yet we didn't feel crowded or that it was too noisy. They were serving brunch so I had the wood platter with fried eggs, bacon and sausage, plus some side greens. Everything was super delicious. It is BYOB and I don't ordinarily have wine at lunch, but hey it was by b-day party so we split a bottle. They bring lovely big glasses that are fun to drink out of. I would definitely come back with my family again. I would suggest reservations because it is very popular!

Worst meal I’ve had out in a while. Will never come back. Not to mention I don’t feel well at all after eating there. The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all but after the waitress came over to pour our waters, she never came back. 35 minutes later we finally went up to the host stand to say something. Our waitress never came back and one person came over to take our order and apologize then never checked on us again. Food sucked and we barely had any service. Do. Not. Come. Here. Overrated and has gone completely down hill. Used to be a nice restaurant.

What a tremendous experience! After months of hearing about Terrain from a local friend, we finally got to try it this morning, and it was worth the wait. Your atmosphere is glorious and the Christmas decor felt like an extravagant home that would be impossible to recreate. Stephanie M took care of us and was just stellar. We had a memorable time laughing with her and learning a bit about how Terrain came to be. Later on in the meal, a lovely manager stopped by to check on us as well. The food was perfect from first bite to last and we will absolutely be back when we’re in the area again…and we will happily recommend you to our friends. Thank you!

A beautiful atmosphere. Outstanding service and the most delicious food. The walk threw the garden and the store, to the greenhouse for dinner was a treat itself. Such beauty in all the details and naturist atmosphere. And the food, my goodness!! The cheese board alone with its spreads and meats and cheese was over the top with taste and presentation. I never had a better mushroom soup ever!! We had a few small plates and they were perfect to sample for two people. The infused spices and herbs in the meats and seafood were just amazing. I am planning to return with friends next month to try the brunch. What a great date night with my husband. I’d say one of our best!! Thank you.

This is the second time we have been to Terrain Garden Cafe. The second time was just as fabulous as the first. We love Brunch and to be able to have Brunch other than a weekend is perfect! Our food was cooked to perfection! The bread they bring in a flower pot was so good. The butter was sage and maple that was served with the bread pot. Terrain has quickly become one of my favorite places. The aumbinance is worth the trip!!!

We, a family of fifteen, just celebrated our family Thanksgiving/110th wedding anniversary there. (Fifty-five years total for our three daughters--10, 20 and 25 and 55 for their parents, which makes 110 total years.) Great place to celebrate. Food was excellent. Amazing ambiance. Very attentive waitress. And--the employee we asked to take a group picture was a bonus.

This place is definitely a hidden treasure. The food is great and the atmosphere was warm & cozy.

Great atmosphere and the food was fantastic. Our server was excellent. I bit overpriced though. Will definitely return.

My favorite place for brunch! I love everything about the cafe and Terrain in general. Who knew a place (the smells, the plants, the music, the food) could make you feel so happy! So magical!!!

Steak was cooked correctly, but served at room temp, was cold 1/4 way in. Potatoes were raw. Sauce on the side was good! Atmosphere was great, good service. Food ruined it though for our first time there.
