Loved the food and Ambience, it was like a saviour, Almost all Indian restaurants were closing or stopped taking orders , we directly walked into the restaurant and were served what we asked for taste is absolutely good. Definitely my go to place for Good food.

I have tried countless Indian food restaurants in the Philly and greater Philly area, but I haven’t found anything that cones close to Shere E Punjab. The intense flavors and varied textures are incomparable (I find most other restaurants to be bland and/or all mushy). I’ve eaten both in house, take out, and at a party they were catering—all great experiences. I live in the city now, but whenever I go back to West Chester to see my parents, I make a point of stopping here before I leave. Highly recommend!!

Worst food delivered by them. Going by the name we thought they would know what North Indian food should taste like!!!! Paneer was bad and rice was half cooked. We had to throw most of it. I don’t even feel like commenting on garlic Naan. Never doing this mistake again. Hope I will save someone from a horrible experience by writing this review.

This place has a great ambiance and is always clean - nothing out of place. Very curteous staff who ask a lot of questions and provide suggestions for customers who are new to the cuisine. They do some custom requests too and we take total advantage of it. For example: they have 2 restaurants and we have been going there for a looooong time. They no longer serve a "Paneer Bhurji" on the menu but if you ask them if it is available, they will make it for you. They are not just a place for dine-in but also a great place for carry-outs. They are always on time and even though I have an occasional bad experience (that they worked to correct), they are perfect most of of the time.
They have a great buffet though it may be a tad bit over-priced due to the lack of similar cuisine close by. The bar scene is a little bit odd since it is fully stocked but not many people there - and I don't think they have a certified bartender - the owner or the waiters do that task.
Overall, great restaurant and ambiance. Its always been our go to place and I don't see it changing anytime soon.

We ordered the lamb biriyani, butter chicken, chicken kabob, 2 samosas and garlic naan. The lamb was very dry. The butter chicken was good, would have been better with breast meat instead of thigh. However the big problem with everything was that it cost $69. You will see from the picture that it is not $69 worth of food. I even put our dinner plate next to it for size comparison. We expected a lot more. The portions were very small. The biryani was a very small size and $18? Just surprising. We eat Desi food a lot and this was a shock. And the food was "ok".

One of the best Indian restaurants i have eaten. Buffets are awesome. Dont expect to find 50 varieties or so that frankly no one eats. Chicken mutton are so tender, some good authentic appetizers (loved the chole here) & an awesome bar that some classic indian touch to mock-tails. If u are bored of buds and coronas find kingfisher here. 😬

Ordered take out. Didn’t mind that it was fairly cold on arrival since I could reheat the bread and pakora easily. The rice had a weird flavor. Was hard to reheat and tasted like “minute rice” you get at the grocery store. The paneer tikka did not have the heat I was looking for ( I ordered it Medium) but perhaps it was because of the strong taste of…cardamom? Cinnamon? Ive never had the dish with such a strong sweetness to it (and I’ve had paneer tikka at a lot of places in the area). And it was just paneer and sauce. No onion or pepper like other places. For almost $20 for the dish, there are plenty better spots for a more reasonable price. *the aloo bread and pakora were delicious though
