Visited this place with the family for the first time because they have pretty good coupons hidden in the junk mail but I'll say if your really into fresh custom stir fry with limited bar you'll feel right at home. The first thing you'll notice and a little off putting is the dining room itself. It's not doing well with ambiance. Kind of small to begin with these partition walls between tables that make it feel like a being in a rat maze. The furniture is very worn. Like very worn. Tables and chairs lost their varnish a long time ago with wear and tear marks everywhere. Tables are at differing heights so they don't push together well. A small party or a casual family hangout would be comfortable here but I wouldn't take a significant other and treat it like it's something special unless you were planning to break up with them. The staff served us adequately but eveyone seemed tired, a little disorganized, and maybe suffering from low morale. I wasn't offended by this but i felt bad for everybody because it didn't seem to be a nice working environment. The food is what you make of it. Plenty of good looking proteins, veggies, and sauces to experiment with and if you've got no cooking sense then you can choose a signature dish instead and cut out the guess work. You do most of the legwork and setting up of the dish. Then you leave it with the cooks and they fry it up in few minutes. The waitress will bring you the dish when it's done. This place has a bit of a learning curve on the first try but there so many things to pick from that during the course of the meal I was already thinking about my next visit and the combinations I will try. Definitely will come back to dine again.

This is the first time in Phoenix visiting a Genghis Grill, but we've been to GG in another state plenty of times before. We love the experience as it is unmatched as far as I can tell in terms of customizability. The bowl always turns out flavorful no matter what your choices are of meat, vegetables, spices, and sauces. They have put Covid precautions in place too so you get gloves to handle the utensils and the kitchen people will hand you your bowl to fill. Once you're done putting in everything your server will bring you your bowl when it's ready. It's so good you won't regret going. Also the chocolate brownie for dessert is well worth getting. It was delicious !

Always good!! We usually do the build uour own; medium (red bowl) is more than enough - I always have enough for left overs. Lots of sauces to choose from, a little something for everybody. One of my favs!

Genghis Grill is good, made my own medium bowl, you add meat, spices, veggies and sauce. My whole family did it this way. Even though they were busy Arianna did an amazing job as she almost single handles took care of the restaurant and still had a great attitude about it.

The location has a menu with a set of food options but also has a built you own food bowl. I must say You have to try the built your own food bowl 1000% worth it! You choose from 3 bowl size small-large. I select the middle one called regular. After making your initial selection with the waiter your giving a slip. You use the slip to get your bowl 🥣 and you pack as much fresh food as possible, meet, sea food, noodles, vegetables, as much as possible without letting the food fall out of the bowl. Then select a variety of sauces and have your food cooked. The taste was amazing and got me very full. I also had a Blue Dragon drink on the rocks and tasted very good. I totally had a great time as a result I highly recommend this place! 👍🏽 After visiting this place you may want to consider visiting and explore Tres Rios Wetlands named top 100 thing to do in Arizona!

We were greeted right away by a pleasant hostess and sat at a half table half booth. Our waiter stood behind a wall and just said "what are you guys drinking?" So I really didnt know he was our waiter at first... but he was nice and helpful. He suggested the endless bowl for my husband and told him to get smaller portions so he could go back a few times. There is a large selection of delicious meats. I also filled my bowl with seafood. The shrimp are the baby shrimp and I mean baby... small like a dime, would love it if they had bigger ones. I added lots of veggies, seasonings and spices. Got.to the counter and ordered Udon noodles and fried rice to go w mine, plus an egg... gotta get the egg! We sat down and our meals were delivered in minutes, piping hot. Yum!! My husband likes his super spicy. He went back once and was full... and very happy. Love this place! Haven't been for a while, so glad we made it back! We paid $40+ for a reg bowl, endless large bowl and 2 iced teas. Worth it!

This was my first time. My sister brought me. It was DELICIOUS! We got the create your own bowls. It was really really yummy.

This restaurant has build your own bowl type where you can have your own choices of meat, veggies, spices, sauces filled in your bowl. During my first visit, I messed up with the more salt and had to ask extra rice to compensate for the taste. Second time, being careful, have added 2 dash of salt which came out good for me. Small bowl was around 11.50$,Regular bowl being 13.50$ and large around 15$. Be sure to try Genghis grill when in the area.
