Overall excellent experience all things considered. The appetizers were very good. Drinks were all well poured. Entrees were good with a few misses but nothing major. We happened to have some music as well which was nice. Our server was great.

We came here after an amazing time at their sister restaurant Maggie’s Farm. This must be the baby sister to Maggie because she didn’t hit it on all cylinders. It might have been because they were so slow that day. I don’t know. The fried food was a little under done and we ran out of tea twice. The server was nice just not attentive. We would be willing to try again, maybe in the evening when it’s more busy.

Fresh sea food and a good size menu. Outside seating was nice. Wait staff was prompt and very courteous. Food came out quickly.

We came from NH to sail on the Thomas Lannon. We stopped in at the Minglewood Harborside as it was close and parking nearby was available. We were greeted warmly and escorted to a table on the deck. We ordered beers, all cold and tasty, and I delighted in the gorgeous Lietz riesling, ice cold and dry. A group of five, we ordered Fried clams, Mussels with wine and fennel,
Fish taco, sushi and Pulled pork! As we waited a small while, we thoroughly enjoyed the balmy sea breezes and the fishing boats coming and going! When food arrived, every single item was fresh, expertly prepared and served in a short time frame. I honestly almost wanted to forgo our sail and stay longer! We will definitely return to this great spot on the Gloucester restaurant scene! Highly recommended!

This was our first time to minglewood. We sat outside on the deck. I was immediately taken by how busy the restaurant was and how many tables were inside. It's a large, casual, fast paced, and a bit of a loud environment. Clearly a well oiled machine. Our server was friendly and quick but kinda missed the mark by just asking "everything good here?" instead of "would you like another cocktail" etc. I'm not as particular as this review seems. Anyways got the calamari app, tuna tartare app and a bit of sushi. The apps were mid. Tuna tartare came with slightly stale chips but the sushi was actually exceptional, better than most Japanese places in the area. The salmon mango role was my fav. Almost every roll was either tuna (yea I get it...) Or shrimp tempura based so ideally they could have some more selection. It was a very nice meal overall and we would recommend and will return!

We had a great friendly server and great outside seats. The fried scallops were amazing as was the tartar sauce. French fries cooked perfectly. The calamari was cooked perfectly ant the “dipping sauce “ was awesome. I prefer Mexican corn off the cob but this tasted good. This place is very reasonable.

Service was exceptional, food was fresh and tasty, we were told the seafood is straight out of the ocean and locally purchased and I had no reason to think otherwise, we sat at the bar chatted with others and embraced the atomosphere. The sushi was a highlight

Loved this place and the ambience.
The server was very considerate and did a great job by serving extra quick.
I have 2 suggestions though: the lobster roll was too small for a $40 tag. Secondly, the entrance of the resturant could be made a little more fancy to make it look upscale.
Other than that, I truly recommend this place for folks looking to have a meal in Gloucester.

Best seafood and drinks we’ve had all summer…such a great afternoon ! Can’t wait to visit again from New Hampshire !

We had our rehearsal dinner at Minglewood Harborside. Zach was so helpful with our planning and answered all of my questions patiently. The atmosphere of the event space is great and the service was amazing. Most importantly, everyone was thrilled with the food! Pretty much every guest commented about how delicious their dinner was to me after it was over. I'm so happy we did our rehearsal dinner here!!

My friends in W Gloucester took me this restaurant and I loved the food, bar setup and it was a perfect place for sports lovers as they had multiple TVs.
My favourite was the seafood platter and it was so fresh and crunchy!! Most of the tables have a good view of the sea and they’ve patio during Summer.

Some of the absolute best seafood I have ever had. We were a table of 4 and we got two orders of the Fisherman's Boat to share for our entree. For our appetizers we got the mussels and edamame. The mussels were absolutely delicious. The broth elevated it. The edamame was such a nice side too. The mussel broth was so good, we kept it to use for our main meal. Now, the Fisherman's Boat. It was more than plenty for us all. The coleslaw was obviously homemade (in a good way) and the taste was consistent across both plates. It gives you a little of everything and it's all great. The absolute best seafood I've had in the East Coast. I highly recommend it. Shout-out to Sarah for being such an awesome server. Live music was nice too.
2 appetizers, 2 giant entrees, 4 alcoholic drinks, 1 non-alcoholic drink, and 3 desserts, we expected it to be around ~$300. It ended up being barely $200. A great price for amazing food.

Service was really good. Scenery was fantastic. Clam chowder was good. I prefer a hot lobster roll, but theirs was cold, but was really good. Lots of lobster claw meat. Bun was perfectly cooked. Great selection of local beers.

I loved my tuna tataki, as it was cooked perfectly, and the greens with the salad were great. I would have liked more dressing though. Others in my party had fish and chips and fried clams. One person ordered the haddock, which came and was cold. The waitress took it back easily, and replacement was quick, but this should not happen

Nigiri platter and the Gloucester sushi. They were pretty good.

Nice placing along the commercial fishing piers in Gloucester. You get a good vibe as soon as you walk in with a nice bar and ambiance. Good selection of tap beer and cocktails. The patio has a great view of the boats. We had calamari, Lomein with Pork, and Rootbeer BBQ Tips. Calamari and Tips were quite good. The lomein was excellent, but the pork a bit underseasoned & bland. Overall, a nice place to go. Pricing was fair. We'll go again!

Fantastic food and even better service. Our waitress was very accommodating and helpful since we aren’t from the area. Only negative would be how full the parking lot was, but plenty of street parking around.

Great French Onion Soup! The burger was good but a little thicker than I like them. Ate outside and the atmosphere was very nice.

Definitely not vegan friendly, or a place for people with any type of allergies! Although the chef was accommodating, and made a delicious rice dish with veggies, my vegetarian friend was not so lucky. Vegetables (French fries, Brussel sprouts, etc.) are cooked in the same oil as chicken and seafood. Beware those with sea food allergies! Items on the menu marked with a "V" are supposed to be vegetarian/vegan. Not so, says Sean, the manager. It simply means they can be made vegetarian/vegan. The first thing we told the staff upon being seated was that we were vegan/vegetarian. One of us got sick after dining. The manager was unsympathetic. We'll never return to this establishment.

Pleased all around. After going in the week before, the bar tender Jeremy remembered what I drank, as well as my friend's order.
Love their gluten free dinner and dessert options.
Also love that you can order off the Lat menu in Minglewood. Our waitress was great and my friends love the burger specials.
The DJ on Thursday was awesome playing throwback music and taking requests.
Always great bands as well on weekends. Going tonight to see Ned and the big babies!
This is my new favorite place.

Just wanted to say I drove an hour and a half last night from Worcester to see Dub Apocalypse (whom I've seen before)... I thought I'd drive and check out a different venue. I was less than impressed with your door staff. I had an umbrella...BUT to keep patrons waiting in the pouring rain when your not even at max capacity. That's not very hospitable, and on a holiday! Then the door staff checks my id and sees that I'm from Worcester, and gives me a hard time. I didn't drive all that way to be harassed and get completely drenched! I wouldn't recommend your venue at all.

Fun place to hang out, eat, drink, check the game or dance and party with bands like Mo' Bounce!
