More food than one person could eat. Awesome flavor. Great view of the harbor. Looks like a great place to watch the big games. Huge tv over the bar. The place was clean and the staff was courteous.

We were lucky enough to be there for 1/2 off menu! 2 lobster rolls with fries for $12.50! šŸ˜ƒ. They also offer gluten free fried seafood & friesšŸ‘. Outside bar & seating on deck with harbor view or plentiful inside tables as well. No rushing which is what I love... will definitely go back!

We decided last minute to go to The Studio to celebrate my new job. We arrived around 6:30 on a Thursday and we're graciously accommodated (5 of us) we were served quickly too! The menu was half off so we ordered almost every thing and everything came out cooked to perfection. The seafood is so fresh! Highly recommend to anyone and the drinks are creative and well done as well. Meagan was our server and she was right on top of everything even at the peak hours. Thank you for a wonderful night, we will be back!

The Sushi here is so good. Always fresh and there is a great selection of maki rolls to choose from. Food here can be slow but the sushi bar always puts your order out fast. The "Studio", "Dragonboat" & "Kiss the Fish" are my favorite. Raw bar is great too. The atmosphere is the best in the summer. Sit outside on the water or inside theres a piano bar where they have live music sometimes. Always fun to go here with a group of friends.

Enjoyed dinner on the deck overlooking the harbor. Bride enjoyed broiled shrimp and scollop salad. Enjoyed Italian dressing rather than the mango... The scollops were perfectly cooked...awesome. Shrimp was almost as good. I enjoyed grilled shrimp over linguini with sin dried tomatoes and butter sauce. It was great along with a small salad, plenty of bread with dipping oil. Drinks were generous and service was good. Recomended for good food at reasoable prices.

Location. Location. Location. They say is the key ingredient for success. The Studio is a little off the beaten path, but so worth the short drive beyond downtown Gloucester. Here is why. The view. Sitting on the harbors edge on Rocky Neck, the studio has a stunning view and outside deck. While we were there, a water taxi dropped a party off right at the foot of the deck. It is atmospheric, especially if you want to feel like you are in/at the harbor. The food was delicious too! I was surprised to receive three fish tacos when I was expecting only two. And though I thought three would be too many, they were so good I could not resist enjoying them all. Spiced just enough with kernels of corn, they every bite was a flavor filled delight. My partner enjoyed the fish sandwich and house cut ā€œfritesā€ (small French fries). Both were really good. They have a variety of other sandwiches and entrees- so something here for everyone. We were also very happy with the variety of craft beer, too. Better than any restaurant weā€™ve been too for lunch in a long time.

There arenā€™t many places to eat on this side of the water, but luckily this is one of them. The studio is a nice place, prices feel right in line with the area and the generous portions make it feel just right. Loved sitting at the dockside bar for that true water front eating.

Best food ever eaten at a restaurant in Massachusetts. Oysters, calamari, lobster, chicken, flourless chocolate cake ALL PHENOMENAL. Better than Boston restaurants hands down. Only place in Gloucester we have actually received FRESH seafood. Surprising us as former Boston residents, now Gloucester residents the rarity of fresh seafood actually served at local restaurants. Studio has it and live music. Best restaurant we've eaten at on the North Shore. Made three more reservations.

The server was super friendly and she made sure to confirm my entree was vegetarian/ pescatarian with the kitchen! The food and drinks were delicious! They have frozen drinks, like a piƱa colada, strawberry daiquiri, and Miami vice, as well as a delicious kale burger (vegetarian/ vegan if you remove the aioli/mayo) and fish tacos with mango salsa. The views are super nice!

Amazing gem hidden on Rocky Neck. Varied menu has great eats for seafood lovers or otherwise. Also they have a sushi bar that wasnt set up when we got there, but the sushi i saw being served looked really good. Sitting outside has a nice view of the harbor. By 630ish on a weekday it was filling up on the patio.

It's a wonderful place for lunch or dinner. We used to go there regularly in the 80s. My mom and her husband lived right across the water in Beacon Marina. They actually had their wedding reception there. They have a fantastic deck and great food.

Food was not what we expected from a seafood resturant in a fishing town. The lobster and scallops tasted reheated, very chewy. Some attention to detail and fresh prep of food would make this a great resturant.

The food is scrumptious, and the owner is a great guy whoā€™s extremely hilarious and very charming. Their outside bar is like something out of south France. Keep up the great quality!
