Awesome hidden gem. Been living in Baton Rouge for three years and have never heard of this place. Was outstanding. Will keep this in the rotation. Has a little shopping area in the front.
Great place to eat if you want some good home cooked southern food and it is a buffet so you can try a little bit of everything.
They also have soft serve ice cream and peach cobbler or banana pudding for dessert.
It's not a fancy place but the food is delicious.
I recommend you try the lima beans and baked chicken and the dinner rolls.
Great food. More than I can eat but it is delicious... especially the fried chicken 😋 the staff is pleasant and welcoming. The owner and his wife are just as pleasant and welcoming as the staff. My fiance and I are here to do some electrical work for the business and we will most definitely becoming back even once the job is done.
Delicious home cooked southern food. This place never let's me down. There is hand sanitizer when you walk in and masks for 25 cents if you need/want one. Also, they started doing self serve buffet again.
The staff is well mannered and welcoming. It always feels like home when I eat here.
Always good quality, home cooked meals. Lots of choices on both meats and vegetables. Good dessert selection too. Menu rotates so different items each day. Always enjoy this place and recommend it.

Lunch today was the epitome of down home cooking and comfort food. The staff is super friendly and attentive and the food was all flavorful. Great decor . . . feels like you're at mawmaw's for lunch. Definitely a keeper.
The food here was amazing and the staff was great. It is a little while in the wall restaurant with southern home style cooking. I would absolutely go back here again
AAAMMMAAAZZZIIIINNNNNGGGGG, just please make sure to wear your stretchy pants and do not make plans for after eating. Food taste like it was cooked with love and a grandmother with "them elbows". Love this place.
