I would like to say that I do not like sandwiches'/subs at all! I wanted to try something healthier t that is out of my comfort zone. I took a leap and tried the kids tuna sub meal (small drink, cookie, and a bag of chips)! They told me that they make the tuna fresh everyday. This place has delicious tuna subs! This is my new favorite spot! I will take the people here if they want something simple, affordable, and delicious! Thank You :)
If you're thinking about trying this place, do it! Local chain with amazing subs! I had the turkey with bacon sub and it was tasty! The prices were fair and food and soft drinks were good. I hear they have great potato salad which I didn't try as a side. They also have a cool gorilla mascot on their logo and that adds to the score for me!

OK! This, my friends is a great place for NY style sandwiches which I call "Subs". A very good friend owns these shops and there are two locations. Larry's in Summerville and Larry's in Goose Creek. The owner, we'll call him Matt, has worked hard to make sure he puts out a great product with great service and a very good selection of subs. Larry's offers Hot and Cold subs along with NY Deli Style Sandwiches. Soups, Salads, Desserts and a Kids Menu to round out a great selection to choose from! Larry's also has a Catering Menu for holidays, birthdays, sporting events or just about any event you have to plan for. I was ordering for myself recently and a 6 footer was being assembled and that was a massive sight! Awesome food coupled with great service and a friendly smile when you enter the store is a pleasure that has gone by the wayside with most fast food places. Open 7 days a week till 10pm can help with those late night snack urges! Give Larry's a try, you won't be disappointed! Oh, by the way, my personal favorite, THE BIG BLT! I ordered an original Ruben on Rye with pastrami and Thousand Island dressing and got a roast beef on plain bread with mayo. A world of difference between the two. Double check you order was received correctly.
The tables could be cleaned, but I don't dine in. ..this is definitely my go-to for a good sub.the staff is kind. They give family vibes
Talk about nostalgia. The moment I walked in, I knew it was going to be good. The smell reminds me of the pizza and sub joint back home, in a good way. Also, people complain about it being not speckless... Apparently, they've never been to a real deli in NY. Needless to say, their subs are great!
Great place, super fresh, friendly service. So much better than Subway or the other big chains!
I've been here a couple times and am a really big fan. Sure it's just sandwiches, but there's something special about these. Try this LGS in particular,it's really good!
Always loved coming here. Bread is always fresh and soft. The staff is always super friendly and super quick.

This place is awesome with a good variety of food, have had the salads and it's delicious with the ham, will be back for cheesesteak.
I ate there twice.once in store and one call in order and both times perfect food perfect service and the manager there is awesome. Hopes he gets some help because it's a great place!!!
The young man that took my order acted like I was a burden to him and interrupted his nap. The sandwich was great and the young lady that prepared it did a great job. The cashier needs a new job where he doesn't have to mess with the public.

Absolutely delightful experience! From the atmosphere that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into an authentic New York bodega, to the friendly staff and great food, this location has it all! All the staff seemed happy to be at their jobs, Luke especially. He’s quick with a joke and greeted me almost as soon as I walked in with a warm smile and a compliment!
Sandwich was amazing but the people really made it all the more worthwhile.

The Mount Pleasant location used to be my favorite. Then they closed, and now this is my favorite. They make the biggest and best sandwiches around, and the staff is always super-friendly and courteous. I love the Big Boss Man, their loaded Philly Cheesesteak. I love the sweet peppers so much I asked if they sell the huge jars, and they do! $20 for a lifetime supply of the precious peppers. Takes up a lot of fridge space LOL.
Their meats are always fresh and delicious, as are the veggies. They will customize your sandwich, like when I wanted a Reuben with corned beef AND pastrami. It was no problem. And like the name says, these subs are GIANT. At other unnamed sub place, I used to get 2 sandwiches because I have a big appetite for a small person. So while you pay a little more per sandwich here, you DEFINITELY get your money's worth. One is all you need.
The King Kong and New York theme is carried through the decor and is fun, not hokey. The music is always upbeat and keeps things moving behind the counter. It seems like a fun place to work, with people happy to be there. I will keep coming back! Also, if you eat in, you can hit up Sweet Frog a few doors down for dessert, assuming you're not completely stuffed with sandwich. A perfect date, IMO.
