I love their entrees and appetizers. The quality of food is great and they always get my order right. The only thing I don't like is their fried rice, so I just don't order it. It doesnt have any veggies or anything in it, so its boring (in my opinion). Everything else I've tried is delicious

My favorite Chinese food take out in the area! Veggies are so fresh! Literally everything on their menu is delicious. I know, because I’ve been eating their food for several years. A few years ago, I moved 30 minutes farther away, and I still make the frequent journey to go back there. Order in advance, because they don’t rush cooking your food. It’s worth it!

Favorite Chinese take out in the Creek! This has quickly become our go to take out. Nice clean flavors, egg rolls are light and perfectly crispy, and for us this is best of all (but maybe not for others) their fried rice is tasty and has no scrambled eggs in it so our child who has a mild egg allergy can join in! We all love China Gourmet here and are constantly looking for an excuse to get it.

Outstanding food quantity, quality, and price. Also, one of the few restaurants remaining in Goose Creek that still honors the military and gives a discount. Also, no MSG in their food for those who constantly search for places. I have a new restaurant to enjoy!!!

Gave this new place a try today and we were not disappointed. Quick delivery and good food, including items you can't get at other Chinese delivery places. The fried dumplings were excellent, with delicate, thin wrappers and delicious, savory filling. The dipping sauce was thin but not watered-down, salty and packed with flavor. The chicken egg rolls were a bit bland but properly fried. The spring rolls were a bit underfilled and underseasoned, with more wrapper than necessary or enjoyable. The House Special soup was loaded with veggies: mushrooms, zucchini, onion, broccoli, carrots, and bell peppers in a chicken broth with plenty of chicken, beef, and shrimp. Everything was beautifully cooked and the soup was light but hearty. I was most excited about my chicken udon noodles, as no other restaurant delivers them. They are my new favorite! Moist, tender chicken, fabulously bouncy noodles, and plenty of yummy white sauce on the side so your noodles don't get soggy. The orange chicken special was as good as anywhere, with nicely cooked meat and extra sauce underneath so it didn't lose its crispness. Hubby's beef lo mein was very good and he ate it all, which never happens! While other places may do a better job with some of the appetizer items, the entrees here shine, and the ingredients are incredibly fresh. This is real, filling food, not MSG-laden junk that leaves you unsatisfied an hour later. I do want to dig into my udon again, but I am too full! This is our new Chinese delivery go-to! Next time I want to try something from the hibachi grill.

This is the best place to get any Chinese takeout! They service is wonderful they are very professional and extremely nice. I usually order for delivery and they are always fast but I have no problem waiting for them. Food is always delicious, hot and they have huge servings I usually have leftovers for two days after and even the leftovers are still good. I don't go anywhere else so glad they are close!

Occasionally, I crave some good "American" Chinese food. Hopefully, anyone getting it knows it isn't the healthiest but I also know that's usually not why anyone gets it. This location is great. I can recommend the Orange Chicken, Sesame Chicken, and General Tso's Chicken. Ordering online, you can also add egg to your fried rice, among many other options. Very convenient. I prefer to order ahead on their website as well to save some time.

I have been going to Ocean island in goose creek for 12 years. I always try different Chinese spots but they always let me down. Usually it’s the quality of the food, that it isn’t fresh. Today I decided to try a different spot for the first time in a long time. China Gourmet ended my 12 year stent!!! It was amazing! Definitely the best spot around. You get great quality and amount for the price! It tasted extremely fresh. Will be back a lot.

Best tasting food in all of Goose Creek! Pick anything and it'll be good.

The food here is GREAT. So happy we decided to give this place a try, have come back several times since moving to Goose Creek. Very traditional dishes, familiar but very fresh and strong flavors. Large portions. Everything just taste very fresh not anything stale or overcooked. Ive had multiple dishes and been happy with everything. Just ordered delivery for the first time and it arrived promptly and piping hot. Also when I ordered a vegetarian dish, they took the time to actually call and ask if it was Ok to still put the egg in it. That is so considerate and something most places wouldn't have bothered calling to ask about. I will continue to eat here for the foreseeable future and recommend it. Its also very affordable prices for good food and enough to eat for lunch the next day too.

I've got a crush on the delivery driver, she is so sweet and brings me the BEST Asian cuisine. I prefer this shop above ALL, nothing is slack about their food and its well wrapped, other places have their food too greasy and are sloppy about the presentation but these people? They take care of me. 5 stars ♥

I've eaten here twice. Both times I ordered delivery. So far, the food has always been given to me hot and the guy is super nice on top of it. The food is great. I've had the Bourbon chicken lunch special and the steak & shrimp hibachi. I've always had some left for the next meal. This will definitely be my new go to for Chinese food.

Atmosphere was mellow and casual. Appearance was very neat and clean. Food was slightly above average. We all enjoyed it. However the shrimp and broccoli had entirely too much oil... That would be my one suggestion, use 70% less oil especially for the diet menu. We will definitely return, thanks for the excellent service.

I asked for chopsticks 2 years ago. I haven't gotten an order without chopsticks since then. This place does not skip a beat. It's pricey, but this is my favorite Chinese place ever. Food is CONSISTENTLY great and the service is NEXT LEVEL. I would order here every day if I could afford it.

We get takeout here one a week or so, and it's always fresh and delicious. I highly recommend the hibachi steak. I always order extra vegetables, not because they skimp on them, but because the are so good! Service is also very friendly and nice.

I tried based of reviews. I'll return. Food was very good mostly. Details below. Me Fun (pancet) was waaaaaayyy too salty like someone forgot they put salt, did it again, then someone salted again for good measure. Sweet & Sour red sauce for the chicken is the BEST I've ever tasted and, but a "large" bowl is NOT a large bowl of sauce.. was a short round bowl and only half full! Not enough for the order as I was told it would be. At least it wasn't watered down like a lot of places started doing. Sweet & Sour tempura chicken was not mushy or greasy. Tasted great! Sesame chicken was excellent. Fried rice has good taste, but it's just rice and the meat - no veggies. Comes with white sauce. Lady at the counter was very nice and helpful with me as a newbie there. No lingering bad aftertaste as happens with many. Meals are one size vs small and large, but I don't know if sizes are different for lunch vs dinner. They use trays - not boxes. If I wanted to eat there vs. takeout, it is very nice and welcoming inside with comfortable seating. As said, I'll return.

I love this place. The best dish they serve is the Singapore rice noodle. Hardly anyone around serves it, and it is amazing!!!!! Also the dragon and Phoenix is fabulous. A place you just check out. I pray they don't change a thing, since most places do after a month or two. If this place keeps up their amazing food we will eat there regularly.

Omg if you love great hibachi, this is the place!!! The steak and shrimp were awesome!! White sauce is good too!! We found a new place to eat!! Well worth the drive!!

We visited China Gourmet a few weeks ago. Our family of 5 ate for $42 and came home with 3 containers of food which is pretty amazing. The food was delicious. It had SOOOO much flavor. The customer service was great too. Super friendly and fast service. I honestly cannot say anything negative about the place. The true miracle is that all 5 of us absolutely loved the food. With 3 children, that's a complete miracle!! I cannot wait to try more of their food! Thank you to everyone in the Goose Creek Resident Group that suggested them!!!!

This is easily my favorite Chinese place in Goose Creek. The food tastes great and there's a variety I appreciate - like pad thai and family favorite mei fun - that other places don't have or don't do as well. The coupons are also the best!

Every time we’ve ordered it has been excellent. We get delivery & we’re not very close but the food is always fast, hot, & delicious.

I thought the food was excellent. The white sauce was delicious. Very clean and comfortable seating (although I was doing carry out I had to wait). And being on crutches one of the guys walked me to the door and held it for me.

Excellent food. Employees were working very very hard to keep up with demand.
