Unpretentious amazing food served by an energetic staff. A stay as long as you like atmosphere hidden in a little town by an owner that seems to love it that way. Don't forget desert, go hungry leave satisfied and dying to return.
We made a reservation for a much-anticipated dinner out. We were not disappointed because it was a fantastic night! Our server, Beth, made sure that our evening was perfect. She was very gracious and catered to everything we asked for. The chef that night, Jasmine, did a fantastic job! We ordered the Thai green curry with salmon. It was so delicious. We were delighted by the local art scattered throughout the restaurant as well. Dessert was to die for. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we found ourselves not looking forward to leaving. We were on vacation in New Hampshire and we had eaten at local places for two nights when my son read online that Saalt was the place to go. We waited one hour for a table ...but it was well worth the wait! The food was fantastic, we had the nut crusted chicken which was amazing my daughter had the Indian Pakora which she said was out of this world and my husband had the burger burger which he also highly recommends. The server /hostess was extremely gracious and even went out of her way to make sure our dinner was nothing less than perfect. If we are ever in New Hampshire again we will be sure to stop by! This place was truly amazing! Thanks again Saalt for the hospitality and great food!
The food and cocktails here was amazing. The blend of flavors and styles for the food and cocktails was so unique. All of the staff are friendly and attentive. The dining was completely outdoors when we were there and they did have heat lamps out.
Cool vibe and great food. We had the Mediterranean bread plate starter, the fried chicken platter (shown), the duck gnocchi, and the Cambodian noodles, followed by flourless chocolate cake, accompanied by local craft beers. Portions are generous and the food absolutely delicious. It's a bit pricey and you need reservations, but a great place to go for a special night out.
This is such an amazing find in the middle of the boring burgers/fries and brews.
I can only expect flavors like this in big cities.
An authentic take in world cuisine. The chef has an amazing diverse palate. Again shocked to find flavors in the middle of the white mountains. Will not disappoint !!

The ambiance outside is very nice for dining. The food is good but some dishes are bit spicy. The cocktails are great. The music is at a comfortable sound level. Love the music.
Enough can't be said about SAaLt. Wonderful food, drinks, atmosphere and staff. Definitely a must visit when in the Gorham area. My only complaint is not having a big enough stomach to try the entire menu!
SAalt is a must whenever I come up to Gorham for the wknd .I enjoy absolutely every aspect of dining here from the craft quality cocktails to the eclectic dishes offered that incorporates tastes from around the world whether it's light & refreshing or hearty and savory. The staff is friendly and accommodating. There is no parking lot but on street parking is available and it's also within walking distance from some of the overnight accommodations in town. It's very satisfying when the cocktails and food are equally as good as another and gives you the perfect dining experience.
Beautiful outdoor ambience! The cocktails are incredible. The menu is eclectic. It seems like the Italian inspired meals were the most popular. The fries are a must as well. The truffle is on point.
Great food, great local beers, great decor and ambiance! I was there for dinner with a friend, after a long day of trekking on Mount Washington and it was just perfect! You have to try it!
This place is the best restaurant in Gorham! Okay I know thatās not saying much. But seriously, the ambience was incredible, and the steak salad my girlfriend ordered gave me major fomo, even though I ended up eating half of it. Although the meat was amazing, every vegetable was also bursting with flavor, and not just because itās drowned in butter like how I do it at home. Iād drive a full half hour out of my way to eat there again and thatās a lot because Iām pretty lazy. I would have included food photos but I couldnāt stop eating them, the ice cream dessert cookies were also top notch and great wine and beer selection. Ten stars!
I wish I could rate this restaurant 10/5. Everything tasted phenomenal from the spreads, appetizers and main entree. Plus all the food is served on homemade pottery. Owners are extremely nice and personable. Additionally the restaurant had a great atmosphere. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a high end meal in the white mountains.
