Great service, atmosphere, food menu, and tap list. The Lake Perch is excellent and the Chicken or Steak Chimichurri are fantastic. You can even get the Chimichurri along with some awesome wines and goodies next door in their retail shop.

The majority of the menu items are homemade and absolutely superb! The service is always impeccable. I seriously love almost everything on the menu. The soups are to-die-for and MULTI-award winning. My favorite is the white chicken chili. Others try to copy JW's soups and they just don't get it quite right. The desserts? The best Key Lime pie I've ever had and I've had them all over the United States. The chocolate torte is like fudge with fresh raspberry sauce. The salads are always super fresh. The perch is amazing. The chimichurri (sp?)sauce is the best I've ever had. The Mexican fare is delicious. I've been eating there for years & years and I am never disappointed. The bar is fully stocked and they are incredibly accommodating. The restaurant side is perfect for a family dinner but also for a romantic dinner.

We stopped here on a whim as our day trip came to a close. We got seated right away, despite the fact that the Coast Guard Fest was going on. It’s small, clean and very friendly. Service was prompt professional attentive and helpful. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu items. Because of this I tried the Sweet Pepper Crab Soup and my adult beverage. I had the Creamsicle (adult beverage) and it was absolutely delicious. Very smooth, creamy and I could not taste the alcohol despite the fact that it had 3 shots of vodka. My husband had The Coastie from Grand Armory Brewery in GH. Our waiter told us that a portion of the sale went to memorial fund for a Coast Guard member that had passed . We were more than happy to contribute. I had the Sweet Pepper Crab soup. It is a cream based soup with generous chunks of crab and red pepper. It’s served with a soft French bread slice and crackers. We shared the Traverse City Cherry Salad. It’s loaded with lots of goodies (dried cherries , toasted pecans, feta cheese crumbles, and rings of red onions) and fresh greens. My husband had Applewood Bacon Cheddar Burger. It looked delicious and apparently it was. Our server was prompt with our bill and items were reasonably priced. The food is fresh and high quality. They also have a nice outdoor seating area. It’s off the beaten tourist path and truly a hidden gem to tourists. We will definitely add it to our list of favorite restaurants. We highly recommend!!!

This was only my second time here simply because I always forget that this little gems is tucked in the corner. I brought my parents here to try it out for their first time and they are some picky eaters but loved all their food! Our waitress was speedy and efficient. We never once had an empty glass, nor did we have to ask for refills. She was on it! The food was all delicious, my mom finished her entire sandwhich and I haven't seen that happen in 15 years! Definitely will be returning here more often!

This wonderful little spot is located in downtown Grand Haven. It’s always been a “go to” for a nice casual atmosphere and good, affordable meals. The bar side feels like you’re in a Cheers episode. The restaurant side was recently remodeled with nice large windows that fill the space with brightness. Easily one of Grand Haven‘s best spots. Five stars for sure!

Wonderful service, cool old Grand Haven decor and the food was phenomenal! Dad loved his wet burrito and will be back again. My Chimichurri burger is something I'll come back for the next time I am in Michigan. Washed down with a tasty cold Short's lager and I'm a happy man tonight. 😋 I wish that I had taken photos, but it smelled so good, I started in right away. Definitely will take them next visit.

We had lunch outside and not only were the waitresses amazing but so were the other diners. We had such a great experience. My mom had the crab soup, my friend a BLT and the chili and I had the chicken wrap. It was delicious.

Staff was friendly. The fish and chips was delicious. The fish melted in your mouth. The honey pecan chicken salad sandwich was so fresh and overly stuffed. It was a delightful experience. I enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. I almost forgot to mention the pretzels and beer cheese amazing.

We always forget about this place but the few times we’ve gone we’ve had good food and service, the pricing is reasonable as well. Recently we had great onions rings, a great chimi burger and very good crab rangoons, the french dip was average. Our today waitress was super friendly and attentive! The bar had a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere as well.

Pleasant indoor/outdoor venue. Perch lunch or dinner is recommended. Pecan chicken salad also delicious. They have a shop next door with a nice selection of cheeses, quality wines, crackers, house made salads, spreads and much more. Great for putting together a picnic or a no-fuss buffet for a gathering.

On the border between comfy and classy. My burger was a little more than I wanted to pay, but all the ingredients were perfect, fresh, and aesthetically pleasing. I guess that made up for the extra couple dollars. Their white-chicken chili is excellent. ALWAYS get the cheese on top. The staff was professional and courteous. Overall a good experience.

A bit on the pricy side but you get what you pay for. My family got the perch, salmon, burgers, and a burrito. Everything was delicious. The only reason I didn't rate the food 5/5 is because my 'blackened salmon' was a bit darker than I like, making it dryer than I care for for the price, but everything else was top notch. Nice atmosphere, service was great!

Food was great. Service wasn’t that great . We had to wait almost 20 mins to get our bill it was not very busy either . But the interactions with the server were pleasant just few and far between.

We had great food and great service haven't been in there since they've remodeled the windows and many other things very sharp. One person in our group had seafood, 2 others had burritos. They really love the burritos and I had a small steak with a very delicious salad. The steak was a Sirloin medium rare and I typically don't like Sirloins And I thought it was okay not great. We had the privilege of getting the best server in the house, Julie we would go back again many times to have that server. Julie was polite very prompt, thinks fast and moved fast. We really appreciated her and yes we showed it in the tip.

It was oddly quiet, but we may have showed up at an odd time as it was just before dinner. The bartender was fantastic and the French dip slider was SO GOOD. The bun was so soft and delicious. It felt like a hole in the wall dive bar, but was also a cool place to stop as a tourist
