Stopped in for a late lunch and was so pleasantly surprised by the great wait staff and amazing clam chowder! I highly recommend a visit to this place whenever you visit!

During our lighthouse tour of Michigan lighthouses, we stopped in Grand Haven. This little gem has a great view of the Grand River and in the distance you can see the Grand Haven lighthouses. They had a covered outside area that was well heated. The clam chowder was slightly oily BUT with excellent taste. The chicken/ham wrap was good. Mt wife's salad was excellent. Server was very friendly and prompt. If we come back thru here again, would definitely eat here again.

You're here for the harbor and ambiance - not so much about food. It's ok. Very expensive for what you get (ie, some dry fried chicken atop a bed of lettuce is an extra $9). Asian salad is not really Asian. Maybe have a peanut sauce and some wontons in it? Drinks were decent.

Was invited for their soft opening after a full remodel. The place looks great. Service was a little slow but some of the employees were brand new and learning the ropes, which was perfectly fine. They were thorough and very attentive. The food was delicious and perfectly prepared. Due to the location, the menu is a touch on the expensive side but well worth it and I heard they were going to adjust some menu prices. The steak is good and the tomahawk pork chop is AMAZING. Mac and cheese is tasty as well. No complaints with dessert either.

I had the beet salad and was glad there were some vegetarian options. The menu is quite varied which is nice. Even though it’s the resort/summer season, there was not a line to wait to get in. The view was quite nice of the River. There is a covered section inside for cold weather. We were in the covered deck section.

Great location. Sushi only after 5. The crab cake burger and the roast beef sandwich were really good.

It's been a while since we came here, but we had a great experience. The sushi roll I got was really spicy but delicious! It was fun to sit by the water and enjoy the beautiful weather.

Really enjoyed the location and views of Snug Harbor. Would definitely recommend the Mushroom Au Gratin dish and a cocktail. The best part about Snug Harbor is the service, namely Anna. She was super on top of it, and helpful with both food options as well as suggestions around Grand Haven.

What a pleasant surprise! Was planning on another restaurant in Grand Haven, but it was full. We found this on Google. Had a great time for our dinner. The raised channel view was nice. The atmosphere was a bright trendy look. The menu selection was excellent. I can't wait to return. The staff were very accommodating.

The water view was really nice! We had dinner on the outside deck which we recommend. My husband had the jerk chicken burrito which was really good. I had beef tacos which had a nice sauce The white chicken chili was the best! They have a lot of sushi items, but we are not sushi fans so can't comment on how good they were. Recommend eating here.

I love having a meal overlooking the water, and Snug Harbor gives you that open air atmosphere you're going for. A sunny day with a nice breeze is the perfect day to come here. The food is consistently good, as is the service. Very pleased with the serving portions and value.

We had great service, and everyone loved their food and drinks. We also had a nice view of the water. My seafood alfredo was great.

Pretty good size portions. Little on the high end for sesame chicken. But it was decent quality. Other people in group got burrito , caesar salad and another got the same as I got sesame chicken. Also had a kids grilled cheese with green bean(Toddler Approved)They enjoyed their food. Loved the new enclosure for deck. Downside I expect better chairs for the type of place and price. The chairs were uncomfortable. Need to look at other options. Love the view the canel and Lake Michigan. Good food and awesome view.

Tonight we met Beth (the best bartender ever). I wanted a poke bowl and something blue to drink...just like that, "The Ole Blue" was born. My drink was delicious and the food was great. We are new locals loving Grand Haven and Snug Harbor. Don't be afraid to ask her about Ole Blue!

We are local. The ambience is what they bank on here, and the service is usually good too. Get a seat on the deck and you'll be happy as a clam. Their food is hit or miss, I wish I could say it was better. The shrimp cocktail was the best thing we had on our most recent visit, they were huge and fresh. The ceviche was very small and the tuna was very obviously frozen and soggy. The taste was pretty good, though basic, but just wasn't worth the money for the size or quality of the fish. The real letdown was the salmon nigiri. The fish itself wasn't terrible tasting, though it was moderate quality. My beef was that it was the most thinly sliced piece of salmon I've ever gotten on a nigiri, and the rice underneath it was enormous. Like 1.5 golf ball sized lump of sushi rice with a measly thin slice of salmon on top for 5 dollars. We will continue to come back and try different menu items along the way, but the real draw is the view and the full bar.

Impromptu lunch with my wife. Food was good. She always gets the parmesan roast beef sandwich. I had the fish sandwich. Our waitress was attentive but not overly. We enjoyed ourselves.

I am happy to announce to all of you that Snug Harbor is back! Cause if I am being honest, last year, understandably, was a struggle. But they are back! The food was delicious, the staff friendly, the cocktails creative, and the view of the channel and the boats coming in off of Lake Michigan in the evening... priceless! You can drive your boat right up to the wall, tie up and have a great dining experience that won't break the bank. If you are in Grand Haven, I strongly recommend dining here.
