It is a wonderful place to eat. I had lighter portion lamb shank, Shiaz Grille house Salad and Pistachio ice cream for dessert. Everything was delicious. The atmosphere was very Persian. It was very appropriate.

Finally went yesterday. Delicious food and lovely ambience at a reasonable price. Our server was knowledgeable, and attentive but not overly so. Can't wait to go back. Try the saffron, cardamom and pistachio ice cream!

Ate here for the first time last night before attending a concert at VanAndel arena. Food was excellent! We were all newbies to Persian food and our waitress was so very patient in explaining everything to us. Highlights were the shrimp appetizer, salmon, lamb and filet kabobs. The rice is so flavorful! Unfortunately we didn't have time for dessert but desperately wanted to try the Persian ice cream. We discussed driving back down just to try their Sunday brunch. Highly recommend!

My first experience at Shiraz was tonight. The food was a unique flavor to me (although it kind of tasted like a beautiful crossbreed between Indian and Greek food), and was perfectly spiced and cooked. I tried both the Persian hot tea and the Persian ice cream, and both were aromatic and delicious! Our service was friendly and helpful (Parionna is probably the sweetest waitress I've ever had), and the atmosphere is absolutely gorgeous. I hope to be back again soon.

Only Persian restaurant in the area and its superb. The herbs and spices are from Iran. Nothing is overly spiced. Just the right amount. It's like aromatherapy from the time your food comes out until you're done eating. Ahmad our server was informative, friendly and attentive.

Spectacular food and terrific service. We appreciated the variety of vegetarian and vegan options. The location is attractive and classy with beautifully arranged tables and plateware. Our food was clean, very tasteful, and served hot. The food was not overly spicy, and the menu clearly states that you can order your food with additional spice to serve your palate. We really enjoyed ourselves here. We brought our two kids who enjoyed it also. Kid friendly items are available like macaroni and cheese, roasted potatoes, excetera. A previous reviewer complained that the toilets did not have lids. let me reassure you that this establishment is very classy and we'll maintained, including the restrooms. I'm embarrassed to post them, but I'll include pictures of the restrooms so you know.

Restaurant ambiance was nice, quiet at the time of our visit. Ordered Baba Ghannouj (grilled mashed egg plant with tahini soauce ) as an appetizer, the tender meat with beas along with the "wedding rice" for main and the house made ice cream and baklava for a sweet end. Rice was amazing, meat was also tender ... Downside was that the service was a little bit slow and the restaurant was cold

I haven't had Persian food before so keep that in mind. I would describe the food as having a warmth and not a heat, aka not spicy. The manager/ owner I believe greeted me and spoke with me. I ordered take out due to covid and the portions were good but not large. I found that the taste melded together as you ate the food together on the plate. I had the fossenjon, a kabob and baba ganoush.

WOW.... Called a refined Persian food. I call it delicious. Middle eastern food tends to be my favorite food in my culinary diet, but a man who loves flavors, I enjoy most foods. Shiraz is a step above most middle eastern restaurants. You won't be disappointed.

Food was great. I came here twice. Once because my husband has never has Persian food and the 2nd time was for the belly dancing every 1st Thursday of the month. It was very entertaining and I think we will go again!

Excellent. Lamb shank was worth the hype, absolutely delicious. The eggplant appetizer (sorry, forget the name) was also delicious.
