I want to add important update:
The last time we went there was two months ago. We forgot my husband’s lumbar support. I called them after two weeks (because it took time to remember where it could be lost), they said they have it. Because of work and crammed schedule, we couldn’t pick it up until last week! Frankly, I suspected to find it after two months. However, they kept it for us all this time. I appreciate that! Indeed, great service.
Everything is halal except the gyro. Their Greek fries is fabulous! We ordered it twice. Fried mozzarella sticks are really good as well. Of course, shawarma, kabob, and burger are so delicious. The place is pricey really, we don’t go there often. The service is great.
I love this place.I have been coming to this place pretty much ever since I moved to Michigan witch is now 7 years ago. I don't think I have ever had a bad experience there. You guys make the best food by far thank you guys.
This gem is always a delight. The fresh food, great colours and textures are truly what makes this restaurant. The new way of ordering, different from the older location is much less stress. Next time I'll try the online ordering. Still ordering in person it was not a long wait
Sami’s gyro is absolutely fantastic. It’s very neck and neck with some of the great Greek places in Chicago. They give a very generous amount of meat per gyro, their fries always taste fresh. And every time I go the drinks also are extremely good. All around good stop if you’re in GR

This is the best place to get good gyro in Grand Rapids. After moving here I was in withdrawal missing my old gyro place. I was so lucky to find them. The food is amazing and the portions are very generous. Service has always been great. I wish they were open on weekends to address my cravings. Their garlic sauce is to die for. I've gone there several times just to get the sauce and pita. I haven't been able to find anything else like it locally.
Love this place! So many options of meat and other fillings for pitas, as well as other Lebanese foods such as hummus, salads, falafel and drinks.
Very good food, the owner was super nice, came around to ask us if everything was ok.
They provide a consistently good product and have been for the 20 years I have been eating it.
Sami's Gyro and the Falafel Sandwich are both absolutely amazing and very filling. Add a triangle of walnut baklava for a sweet perfection end to your meal.

This place rocked my socks. Such a cool place, great comfortable atmosphere. Their gyros are pretty bomb!
Food & service was great! Serving sizes were big and full of meat! They do not skimp on anything. Enough for 2 meals!!
Stopped in for takeout. Was in an out pretty quickly. Got a shawarma chicken salad which was pretty tasty. The paste/dressing that was added was a bit much though. Overall, would stop here again in the future. Loved that they had small snacks scattered around the place, including some Asian snacks.
I have been eating here for 20 years and it is always good. Delicious falafel and rice bowls for amazing vegetarian meals. Classic gyros. Lots of fun drinks to try. It's grand!
