First time coming here since they changed ownership and was not disappointed! I tried the 'flatfoot' which is similar to a Detroit Style pizza and it was one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time! The cheese was plentiful and tasty! The crusts and edges were nice and crisp on the outside while being airy and soft on the inside. Incredibly filling while not leaving you feeling overstuffed after a few pieces. The cheese breadsticks were also a winner and covered in ooey gooey cheese and similar to the pizza had nice crisp edges and wonderful butter and garlic goodness! Much better than the chain pizza places!
Great service We! We ordered our pizza online and a couple minutes later we got a phone call saying that he noticed we had vegan cheese on our gluten free pizza and he wondered if we'd like an alternative pizza sauce since the normal one he uses has cheese in it. This was really nice as my husband didn't want dairy on his pizza. My husband also said that the gluten free pizza was amazing!
Crust was good but the sauce was so incredibly salty it was practically inedible. Called the restaurant to see what could be done and they were willing to give a full refund. Very helpful staff. Just hope the next time we stop in it’s better
Edit: After calling the store they acknowledged that there was a mistake in making the sauce and it should not have been as salty. Just unfortunate timing. All in all a great place with nice staff. Owner is polite and offered us a free pizza after the mistake! Would definitely go back
We ordered a small meat pizza and it was great. Next time I plan to order a Calzone and possibly some chocolate chip cookies.
The company I work for decided to order lunch for everyone in the office. Heritage Hill was not open yet, but I was able to order online with no issues. The website even prompt me right away when my order was being processed. I had to add to the order, so I called when they opened and they added the item no problem. I set the time for delivery at 11:45am and the gentleman arrived early. He also followed my instructions on letting me know he as arrived.
Not only was the food amazing, but the customer service was great! Customer service is hard to find in companies these days....but they nailed it! I will be ordering from them again in the future :) Thanks Heritage Hill pizza! Everyone in the office said the food was great!!
Ordering online was easy, the order was at our doorstep within 45 mins and everything was so hot and delicious! We got crusties (spinach, feta and black olives), a margarita pizza, and a stuffed BBQ chicken pizza. We got the apple dessert crusties too. All soooo yummy!
Undoubtedly the BEST local pizza joint in Grand Rapids. Great crust, UNBELIEVABLY good sauce, and tasty cheese. Also cheaper than (insert national chain pizza restaurant here). If you haven't been, you need to go!
Phenomenal pizza, but they can't follow instructions. Had specifically asked to have the driver buzz my apartment so I'd know to come down and let him in, as I have a phone that does not receive calls reliably. I gave them my address and apartment number, and instead of buzzing the correct apartment and getting paid the driver called my phone multiple times and left a very annoyed voicemail. Now I'm scouring an empty apartment for something to cook at 11:45pm and I work at 6:30- I used to deliver pizza. And I understand it's not an ideal situation. But if the customer has asked for a specific request, whether it's an allergy or delivery instruction, I feel like it shouldn't be that hard.
Four stars because the pizza really is to die for, I just wish I had some right now.
It's not fancy, and it's not in the "center of it all," but they have a great crust, great sauce, and a staggering assortment of interesting combinations. Lvl this place for excellent pizza. Thin crust is great. I'm a new Jersey boy, and It's always hard to find a pizza place I can love, but this is it! We work at Mercy Health Saint Mary's, just a couple of blocks away. We walk over at least once a week for lunch and get pizza by the slice. Yummy sauce and crust! I also have ordered a whole pizza (always deluxe) and have been very pleased with the quality.
They talk fresh food and deliver the goods! Great fresh tasting pizza. The wait is sometimes a bit longer than a chain. They are always busy, (a good sign) They have a big menu and everything is made fresh to order including salads, so I always allow a little extra time for the good stuff! Repeat customer for life.
Great pizza, delivered right on time and piping hot. First timer and will definitely order again.
