If you like meals wrapped up into a tortilla shell then you should definitely try Menna's Joint! Usually pretty quick. I'm not the biggest fan of their potatoes but I enjoy their wraps immensly!
One of my favorite sandwich (known as dubs) joints downtown. You can order a dub or a dubbie, in other words small or large. They're always amazingly fresh and hot. Even if the dubs weren't good, the atmosphere inside alone is worth the trip. It's awesomely hippie retro, with that Woodstock vibe. Heads up the music is always loud, and parking is at a very minimal.
This place is great. The vibes the food the staff. Everyone was so nice and easy to talk to. Easily my favorite thing though was the fact everything was in a burrito. These are cool people making amazing food and creating a great environment. I recommend this to all especially if you love eating happiness while getting to meet some extraordinary people.
Even though they had grub hub orders galore my friend and I just casually walked in and they had our food done in less than 20mins! Customer service was great and the two workers behind the counter we’re crushing orders! Both were wearing mask and sanitation was okay! (maybe a hairnet wouldn’t hurt) The pricing is super fair and the quality of food is greasy heaven (depending on your order) Definitely will go back!!
Menna's Joint should have kept the one Downtown East Lansing open. One in Grand Rapids is good, needed to turn the music down a bit so I could here what the lady was saying. Great place though love the Dubs.
Ordered a while back and forgot to review since I am at work when I usually order food. I had the loaded potato and the meatball dubs. While I thoroughly enjoyed the loaded potato one, the meatball dub was lacking and I found it comparable to subways meatball subs. Luckily, the potato one more than made up for it. My only problem now is GrubHub keeps saying they are closed when Im looking to order again!
Update: Just ordered from DD and got our order quickly! Tried the Chicken n Philly, and the Super(again lol). Everything was hot and delightful! Thanks again, Mennas! We love y'all ❤
Great food and great service! I will be back! I had the breakfast dub, with French toast sticks, scrambled eggs, bacon, and Cheddar cheese. Served with hot syrup on the side. Hubbs had the super dub. Both were delicious, hot, and easy to eat.
Wonderful atmosphere and decor. This place is so chill and I love it!
Such good food ALWAYS!!! BLAZER was amazing!! My mouth is on 🔥!!! The Fried Mac-n-cheese got us hooked on coming here when we're in GR. So freaking awesome! I've tried something new every visit and I've never been let down. The leftovers are delicious as well.

Absolutely incredible place to go when intoxicated. Super dope staff, and the food, obviously is dank. Best way to end your night at the bars, so long as big Gretch let's us go out to them. Probably a pretty good place sober too but I'll let you decide.
Always fantastic food and friendly service. Strongly recommended to out-of-towners as a quick lunch or blue-collar dinner. Simple, quality ingredients and big taste make Menna's Joint a downtown favorite for our family.
