Review Brekkie Shack - Grandview Heights

Visited with my partner for an early brunch on a Saturday. It was not very busy so we got our order in quick and received our food within 10-15 minutes. We both ordered a Coastin Burrito and Vanilla latte. Everything came out great, enjoyed every bite. Definitely recommend.

This is a great spot if you have money to spend ;) or if you want to catch up with an old friend. My coworkers we looking for a spot that had great drinks and food after night shift. It wasn’t the best drink menu and the food wasn’t the greatest. The food was good and the service was quick. Would I go again? Yes. Would I bring friends from out of town ? No. Too Pricy for what you get. I got the French toast, My coworker got the breakfast of champions and another got the avocado toast. Here’s what they looked like with halved mimosas.!

Easy to see why the place is popular. Excellent, diverse food [the sweet potato Brussels sprouts hash is quite good--&I am not a fan of the sprout] and good service make for an outstanding experience. The baked goods are extra special, so save room!

Had brunch here on a Saturday. Place is busy, seating is limited (be warned, they will take your dine in order even if there is not seating available) which is good, but the food came out haphazard. We waited almost 30 minutes for our two Brekkie of Champions and when it got to us, it was not exactly warm. Staff seemed frazzled and not very organized. Coffee was good, but my espresso was served in a 12oz paper cup. Not sure we will be back, did not exactly live up to the hype.

I thought it was good. Then I saw this. I saw a white hair either looks like it’s from a pet or a jacket, stuck on my bacon and cooked with it. Or on top of it. I didn’t eat the rest. I also had a breakfast sandwich. I didn’t eat that either. They seemed busy and making a lot of dough. 💪💪👍🏻

Very nice brunch spot, menu with lots of great options. Also the many coffee options and drink options make it a great place for any group. Very nice and fun ambiance, but rushes build up so get there and order quick. I got the basil burrito and tater tots and an iced coffee, it was all delicious. Would definitely recommend to anybody for a brunch spot.

I enjoy the “self service” set up of the place! Less stress on the employees = way better service. Service was excellent!! My rosè spritzer was excellent. I enjoyed most of my Brekkies For Champions, nice and hot, but I wish they used fresh scrambled eggs instead of liquid eggs. The texture just isn’t the same!! Still that’s not the staff’s fault so 5 stars for the staff, service, atmosphere and temp of food. The bacon was really great too!

Their pastries and coffee are delicious! They had a specialty peep latte for Easter. Also really enjoyed the open garage doors on the walls for lots of fresh air! The staff were all very kind and attentive. Will definitely be back!
