We love everything about this place! The food is amazing! The service is top tier! We've been there a couple times but we just went recently for a birthday and the server was amazing! She was very accomadating and polite while still being fun! The atmosphere is that which you'd expect.
We had the lunch menu and it was delicious. $12 for fried rice, 1 wanton, 2 crab racoon. And the mean was huge. Very delicious and priced well. However, the truly incredible part was actually our waitress. I just thought she was funny, real, very attentive, honestly she went above and beyond what is normally expected. I wish I got her name but if you get her, you'll be happy. Of course the food is great to. The only reason I took a star from atmosphere is because they played r&b music instead of traditional Japanese, or something. Highly recommend.
P.s. I'd already eaten prob a third from this image
I’ve been to many hibachis. My favorite one was Lumix in Long Island, NY… until I came to this one.
The experience is fun, just as you’d expect in any other hibachi show. It’s just that food is superb. They stuff you to death with the best tasting hibachi stuff you’ve ever get.
Been here two times. I’ll come back every time I’m in town.
One of my favorite hibachis! Call in for reservations on a weekend - but incredibly great tasting food. And of course the traditional hibachi experience. Dinner plates as low as $17, and surf and turf options as well. I personally think their steak is their best hibachi option. They do have drinks and occasionally will sit with/next to a group you don’t know - which in my opinion, adds to the fun.
The service was excellent, and the food, oh my! I had fried rice, and orange chicken, it was SO good, and the portions were SO generous! I was amazed!
My only humble suggestion is, if the sticky can't be cleaned off from the wooden table tops, then at least invest in some vinyl tablecloths.
Other than that, every single thing was top notch. I would strongly recommend this restaurant to all my friends.
I’ve had both Hibachi and normal dining room seating here and the food is amazing. They are normally busy all the time and some nights hibachi is booked out so I do recommend making a reservation, especially for larger groups. Overall though, food tastes fresh and great!
We eat here all the time and food and service is always good! The sushi rolls are HUGE, and delicious. Hibachi is great too, just plan to be there a little longer for that experience. They also have gluten free options🙌🏻 It was delish!
We were very sceptical about this place at first.. it was pretty empty for a Saturday afternoon around 2! We had Crab Rangoons, chicken fried rice, general tso chicken for dinner then a Pink Friday and Fuji Passion to drink! Both dinners came with soup or salad as well! The portions for both were HUGE we both took home an overflowing box!
They go above and beyond for the customers. I was missing 3/4 of my order and they made it right by delivering the rest too me! Andrea is super friendly, kind and helpful ! Huge shout out to the Sakura crew 🩷
Iv had two wonderful experiences at this restaurant on the sit down side. My child loved the bento box.
My experience with the hibachi side however went a little differently. It was a total accident but the chef did accidently lose his two prong fork and it went flying at us
(Talk about spooky)
Accidents can happen and they were very apologetic..
Great service! Food was stellar. Food was fresh. The plum wine was delicious. We need to eat dairy-free and gluten-free. We got egg drop soup as a substitution for miso. They did mess up our order on a love boat. Ask for dairy free and gluten free. Put a roll with cream cheese on the boat, but made up for it when the sent us a new roll. I will definitely be back
The chef was great! Our food was delicious and properly prepared. We so appreciate the fact that when we told him that someone in out party was allergic to shell fish he cooked the shrimp last. With a reservation we did not have a long wait. Maybe 5 minutes. Enough to get a tasty drink at the bar. Excellent service through and through!
The food was delicious. Portions are enough for 3 meals. Hibachi chefs are entering and engaging with customers. Parking was the only issue. Great place for steak, poultry , seafood and sushi. You’ll be happy that you tried it.
We had a great evening here! Our chef was fun and most everything was very good. The shrimp is always a little overdone at most hibachi places but it's still worth eating, veggies in my opinion could be cooked a little longer, but that's a personal preference.
The rice, noodles, salad, chicken and steak were so so good!! Only 1 out of our party of 6 liked the soup.
My husband and I both split a meal with our kids and they charge you $7 more per kid but you get nearly double of everything. We left very full and with a ton of extra, so you get plenty of food for the price!
The restaurant itself seemed a little dirty. Not too bad but there was a panel cover for something on the floor by our grill and the place just looked like it needed a good cleaning.
Overall a very good time and I would recommend it for a fun hibachi evening!!
Good place to get sushi. Haven't tried anything else. You can dress casual but aim for nice at least. Sushi was delicious. As were the crab rangoons. Perfect date location. Was probably a bit understaffed when we went, poor server was flustered with how many people she has to serve and it didn't appear like she has much help so I don't blame her for how little we saw her. She was red faced lol.
The food was good, but the restaurant seems a little dirty and needs an update. The flavors of the food were awesome, and our waiter was very nice and helpful. I would definitely go back again.
