I ordered the hot beef sandwich. Let me tell you ... it was probably one of the best, if not the absolute best hot beef sandwich I've ever had. The gravy was rich and tasty. The beef was perfectly bite-sized and well seasoned. I love that it was so easy to eat. No struggling to cut the meat. I will be back for this meal again!!!

Really hit the spot. I asked for extra crispy fries, they were the best ever. Hamburger was cooked to order and done right. Warm atmosphere, we sat near the fireplace. Good food, took the chill of. Thanks Russ's team

When I went here I got above and beyond service. Our server checked in regularly to make sure the food was good and to refill our drinks. We were seated immediately with no wait. I had the golden brown fried chicken, it was cooked to perfection. The mac and cheese was hot and delicious. Russ' is over all a great place to go for a fantastic meal and a sit down expirience. I rate it 6 out of 5 stars.

5 Stars all the way around. Greeted and seated right away at lunch on a Saturday. This was our first visit to a Russ's and it won't be our last. MY wife ordered cold drink and the Meatloaf stacker and added fries. I ordered coffee, water, and the Big Dutchman Supreme (comes with Bacon, Swiss cheese, Lettuce Tomato and mayo- I skipped the mayo) adding fries and coleslaw. Drinks came out fast and the coffee was hot and fresh. Never had to wait for a refill. Great service. The waitress brought out my coleslaw in two dishes ( just in case I wanted to share with my wife ). Of course I did. It was fantastic. Crispy, cold and very fresh tasting. The coleslaw alone is worth a return visit. Our food followed shortly. I like to rate burgers so these are my opinions only and may not suit everyone. I had the option of a 3rd or a 1/2 pound patty. I opted for the 1/2. The patty was hand formed and seasoned, cooked medium and had great flavor. Toppings were fresh and tasted great. Bacon was perfectly cooked. The bun was a gourmet bun that was buttered but not toasted ( in my opinion, a toasted bun would make a home run burger taste like a grand slam burger). And like everyone else, a slice of processed Swiss cheese. This where the burger fell a bit short. I get economy and all, but a slice of real cheese on a burger is a must. The meatloaf stacker was rated by my wife as outstanding. The brown gravy was out of this world. the meatloaf was well seasoned and perfect. So a winner there. The french fries were skinny and served with the plate on mine and in a bowl for my wife. They were very good , so a A+ there. We had our desert to go so more on that later. All and all an outstanding experience and great food. Worthy of another visit.

Visiting the area and asked some friends if they knew about Russ’. She said “we love Russ’”. So we went. They’re known for their onion rings. I only had 1 of my husbands. Yummmmo! This is what he had for dessert (homemade of course). And the service was great too. When we come back to this area - we’ll be sure to have a meal here.

Decent salad bar with up to 7 soup options. Rolls are good. I really liked the coleslaw. The desserts look amazing, but we were too full to get one.

Super fast service with great young server, Josie. The triple cheese grilled cheese with bacon on their English muffin bread was excellent!

We had the pleasure of being served by Olivia. She is one of the sweetest, gosh-darn best servers we've ever had. Hubby and I have both worked in good service. The food was AMAZING and the service was even better. We highly recommend the Hot Fudge Cake, dessert before dinner, of course. THINGS TO GROW ON: My ONLY complaint is that in the many years that the Grandville location has offered their delicious salad bar, it still isn't up to par with other restaurants in these regards: we need a 1-trip add-on with an adult meal option (like Big Boy) AMD AN ADD-ON FOR A KIDS MEAL. We also need a salad bar, or a 1-trip option for an Adult, but more importantly, CHILDREN!!!!! When my small children come in, they want the salad bar! In a world where obesity is running rampant, more so now than ever with children, why in the world is Russ' corporate so archaic? I would have to buy a full-price adult salad bar for a 2 or 3 yr old? For a 6 year old? For my 9 year old? That's not right at all!! Why do employees come in to eat with their kids and can't afford to buy salad bars for their kids at adult prices? That's **not** the right way to treat your employees nor your beloved and dedicated customers. Russ' Corporate-- y'all are better than that! Please add a 1-trip add-on option to any ADULT OR CHILD MEAL. Please add a kid's meal SALAD BAR option... (You should call pizza ranch to see how they charge per year of age-- they do it right!!!) Thank you so much!

Seated immediately and as soon as we had both arrived, our server was there to ask about drinks. We went there for the all you can eat fish fry. We knew ahead of time that it was tilapia. (Not my favorite variety but done well and served hot and very quickly.) Our server was very attentive and we didn't have to wait for our second serving of fish.
