Always on point, and the mole??? To. Die. For. A wonderful, family-run place. We enjoy the beautiful spaces almost as much as their delectable menu offerings. Ceviche is a favorite, fresh and almost sweet. Pair it with a spicy margarita. Seafood offerings are always a hit, but the signature mole enchiladas are our favorite (see mole). A fabulous experience from start to finish.

Excellent meal and service. We split the chicken/beef combo fajitas. Meat was tender and onions grilled to perfection with tons of flavor. Chips appear to be homemade. Our waiter Jonathan took excellent care of us. Leftovers for lunch next day, as good as first served. Will definitely be returning!

very good food and service. Queso funds and ceviche. yum. $5 top shelf margs during happy hour were on point. We live 30 min away but will def return. Apparently they have mariachis on Wed nights. Unfortunately, we will not go back on Wednesdays. But if that s your thing...go.

We had lunch there and the staff was so friendly! The food was absolutely delicious! The manager came to our table and introduced himself and was very nice. We will be going back to eat there when we are in town! Thank you so much for your kind service and delicious food!!

Friends, James and I went to the soft opening of the much anticipated Coastal Mexican restaurant- Mesa - Grapevine Station. The original location is in the OC of Dallas. James and I decided that we needed to eat a full 3 courses because we wanted to "sacrifice" ourselves to give our friends a thorough review. You're welcome. First, my drink. I got the Smoky Margarita which was fantastic! The finish left a lingering taste of woodsmoke! Yum! We then ordered Guacamole with HOMEMADE chips. Delicious! We got the mild guacamole but the flavor was wonderful. We'll get the mucho picanté guacamole next time! Our entrees made me weep they were so good. Not only were they aesthetically pleasing, the mix of flavors were unique and perfectly balanced. I had the Guiso del Chef: I told our waitress, Lisa, to please go back and give Olga, the chef, a hug! The love she put into my dish instantly made us best friends. Also, I learned last night that I'm a huge fan of well prepared octopus! Olga also converted James to liking octopus although I don't think he'd trust anyone but her. James Mining had the Tenderloin Enchiladas that were covered in the tastiest tomatillo sauce. James said the enchiladas were so smooth and the flavors complex. He barely let me have a bite! The descriptions of our plates are in the pictures. Dessert!! How about outrageous blueberry bread pudding topped with strawberry ice cream!! The pudding was dense and not overly eggy which is precisely why I ended up having to share with my husband. He's lucky that he still has all 10 fingers. I cannot recommend this place enough! Don't come to Mesa expecting your normal Tex-Mex. This is not the place for you to ask for a combo plate. This is authentic coastal Mexican cuisine and should be regarded with more respect than your local On the Border or El Fenix! The prices I believe are fair for the amount and quality of food; but it can be pricey especially as you lose track of how many margaritas you've ordered. We will be returning, if not regular, customers of Mesa

The best Mexican food we’ve found in Grapevine! The salsa verde is to die for. Portions were HUGE and the rice . We’ll be coming back weekly!

This was our first review, we were invited back by the owner and that review is at the bottom Service was terrible. We've been looking forward to eating at this place for a while so we decided to go last night. Hostess said it was a 30 min wait but that she could seat us at a table near the bar right now, so that's what we did. Hostess said there was a server for that area and one would come help us. Now the hostess did a good job, you could tell all of them were trying their best to keep wait times down and seat people quickly. The wait was what you would expect for a Friday night around 7 pm. Once we sat down nobody came to take our drink orders or anything. We sat for about 15 minutes til my husband asked the bartender if a server was assigned to the area. Bartender told him "No, not right now I'm making drinks." He told him that the hostess informed us there was one and he said "Ill be over there later." He was very short and rude honestly. We waited for another 10 min for a server but nobody came, a total of 25 min with no drinks, not even the opportunity to order drinks. One of the hostess attempted to take a drink order at the last minute but we had already decided to leave at that point. Another couple did the same minutes before we did. Average price is about $20-30 per entree. Add in an appetizer and a couple of drinks and it's about $100 for two people. There are a lot of nice restaurants in Grapevine/Southlake area for that price with good service. ****************Edit******************* We were invited back tonight and the service was great this time. The staff was actively attending everyone, not just us. The beef fajitas were some of the best I have ever had, my husband had the seafood enchiladas which were great too. My husband had a margarita and said it was fantastic. Everyone from the hostess to the owner made sure we were doing good however they did that to all the tables near us too. I was glad to see we weren't given special treatment because of our previous visit, that they were making sure everyone was taken care of. I think we just picked a rough night last time. We will definitely be back in the future and I would recommend this place to family and friends.

First time trying this new restaurant. We had the ceviche which was delicious. Chips and salsa were freshly made. I had the mole enchiladas, and i have to say some of the best mole i've tried! The service was fantastic, very friendly and attentive! Can't wait until they are open for brunch. Try the flan for dessert.

We really enjoyed dining here. The atmosphere was comfortable. The food was so good! Our alcoholic drinks were made well. The service was excellent. The restaurant was very nice and clean. The restrooms are nice and well maintained. I took the waiters recommendation and had the Crispy Redfish Tacos. Oh my gosh so yummy. I am still thinking about them. I would definitely eat here again and I recommend this place! 5 stars.

This place is a hidden gem in grapevine. The brisket tacos are delicious and sneaky good with a hint of bbq sauce. Warm salsa is my favorite and the tortilla chips are like little clouds of goodness. Also ask for the spicy guac that comes with the street tacos. Soooo good.

Very modern atmosphere and not super crowded for lunch. I was a bit disappointed that they did not have a lunch menu during the week but they do have a Sat/Sunday brunch menu. The Roberto's Queso was ok, it comes with ground beef, Guacamole and Pico. I requested to remove the Pico since I did not like cilantro and the server failed to remind me that the Guacamole was full of it. The Shrimp Enchiladas meal with a spicy cream sauce was very tasty as well was the Redfish Tacos. I used my GetUpside account to get 7% cash back for my meal. Get $2 for signing up using code AU2M6 😀

Pleasantly surprised to find this upscale Mexican restaurant for lunch after picking up my Hertz rental at the Gaylord Conference center as the airport was out of cars. The food was high quality but slightly over priced but maybe it's inflation from Covid. I ordered chicken enchilada and the server had no problem to substitute pinto beans in place of refried beans which I don't eat. The chicken was freshly prepared and I only had Ice tea but they do have a fully stocked bar and stylishly decorated south western tin ceiling, lighting, etc. I would recommend this place and would guess it gets very busy during a conference.

I usually don’t do reviews but… was on a father-son back to school bash weekend and we were looking for a good, family friendly Mexican restaurant, and we found one here. The food was excellent. They serve the salsa warm, which is unusual but I loved it, and I am a picky salsa eater. Our server Ariel was awesome. Thank you for the experience. Definitely wrapped up our day with a bang. Thank You.

Very authentic and tasty. The next time I am in Texas, I will return. The enchilada variety was perfect. Tamale and tostada my business partner had was perfect she said.Tortillas hand made in the front of the restaurant, the service was great and the atmosphere was perfect. No drinks for us, but they looked delish. Authentic Mexican cuisine.
