We lived in the area two years before finding out about this burger joint. Let me start by saying this place is a hidden gem. If you like burgers you have to try this place. They have a huge selection of burgers and in addition they have the "burger of the day" that changes daily. So their options are really endless. They serve HUGE portions and just a friendly tip, one order of fries may be enough to share between 2-3 people. I prefer the garlic Parmesan fries. Friendly staff and I love that they offer military discount.
Went to Twister Burger for the first time on Saturday and was blown away! Best huge burger I've ever had! The place was really cute and all the employees were friendly and hard workers. The garlic parmesan fries were to die for and a small order fed 3 of us! We will definitely be a regular and will bring our friends!
I've been there several times, and it's always good. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a cool 50s soda shop. It's a burger place, but they have the best Chicago-style hot dog in Grayslake!
Our little family went there today for lunch we have been wanting to try it for sometime! The staff was great they were so nice and helpful. The food was Amazing I don't care for cheeseburgers much just because I don't like the texture but wanted to give them a try since they always look delicious and I will say it was by far the best one I have ever had! The portions were huge and extremely filling as we left stuffed and had extras to bring home. All in all this place was great and we have no complaints! ❤️
Came in last night while meeting my mom halfway to pick up my niece and nephew. We're both babysitting while their mom is out of town. We decided on Grayslake as our meeting point & needed to find dinner. We both wanted a burger & found Twisted Burger on yelp. Wow are we glad we came here! Excellent service & even better food. A diner feel which is hard to come by now - and quick cooking times. Can't wait for an excuse to come back!
This is the best burger place! I love going here. They have multiple burgers I want to eat. If I had a bigger stomach I would eat it all! The shakes are amazing as well!
Go once a week for my high calorie cheat meals.
Usually I don’t get there til 7:45 and the staff is always kind to me and makes sure my food is great even though it’s close to closing time!

I was in town for a gymnastics meet with my 3 kids, and we really needed lunch. Found this cute place, very laid back feel, yummy food and good milkshakes.
Awesome burgers great crispy fries and if u like spicy I recommend the el diablo it's to die for.also huge portions a small frie can feed two people easy

No matter what you have it is delicious. We have had burgers and wraps. The fries are awesome and wow you get plenty. Can't wait for our next stop in 😎

Loved it! Burgers are wonderful! Fries are great! Wings are fantastic! The kids Mac and cheese also really good. My 1yr old was dancing while she ate! If you haven't tried twisted burger your missing out!
This little place is quite a gem. Delicious food made to order. Portions are huge and fair for the price.

Kids meals were great price and size. It wasn't busy during a Thursday lunch but it should've been!
Kids got a shake that was also amazing and huge for a small as well the small ice cream.
Staff was friendly and the service was great. Bathrooms were clean.
Tons of options for burgers, wraps, salads, etc.

Food is really good here,they have specialty milkshakes including a Barbie milkshake. They have a lot of great looking burgers. I had a Chicago style hot dog it was o.k.. On the other hand my chocolate milkshake was awesome! Prices seem high yet the food is great!
Girlfriend and I were in the area (from Chicago), found the place through a Google search and figured we’d give it a try.
The food was awesome, nice variety to choose from - we just went with burgers, fries, sodas. Google shows ‘2 dollar signs’ for pricing, I believe that’s high. Prices were very reasonable.
What struck us the most were the employees. Everyone we dealt with seemed eager to assist us, they were helpful, friendly, and patient. We may be scorned by most places around Chicago, it was truly a pleasure to see people working and being pleasant.
Thanks for treating us well, next time we’re in the area, we will be back.
Went with a group for lunch. I had a new 🍔 on the menu. It was very good. Would get extra sauce next time. It is a small place and we were a bit crowded (8). Everyone enjoyed their food. Will definitely return.
Wonderful place with great service! The staff was very friendly and helpful! Very nice location and the food here was great! I don’t think you could go wrong with anything you order here. Getting the food here was quick and we didn’t have to wait too long either. The atmosphere here is great and is a very nice place to stop for a burger! I would strongly suggest stopping by if you’re thinking about it!
We stopped at twisted burger for supper while visiting from out of town. There was a large free parking lot right by the restaurant. We were able to order and sit down right away. Our food was ready in less than ten minutes. Sides are not included with the burger. We ordered a large fry to share and it was more than enough for the two of us. I really enjoyed my California chicken sandwich, the toppings were fresh. My husband ordered the Diablo burger. Unless you really like the heat, I would recommend another burger. The habanero sauce is no joke. I had taken a bit and felt the heat for quite a while after. The child size milkshakes were the perfect size, but they offered multiple other larger options. My husband liked it so much, he requested we stop by again the next day. I would recommend stopping in if you like burgers with lots of toppings!

Sunday was our first time here after debating and hesitating. And without a doubt it exceeded my expectations.
The food was delicious, the portions were reasonable and though the price was a bit high, it was still worth the wait.
Only recommendation would be an app, a rewards program and future coupon deals.

Burger was pretty good. Fries were excellent! Portion big enough to share. Definitely going to order an awesome milkshake next time. Love the cheerful environment around the holidays.

Their burgers are great, particularly the California and the Twisted burger. Their salads also are always fresh and we've tried the caesar, Cobb and southwestern so far. I feel Grayslake is lacking on good salad options so for us, theirs are most preferred and decently priced. But seriously.....SERIOUSLY, they need to start advertising their fried chicken sandwiches. My daughter wanted a plain fried chicken sandwich and I was surprised to see you can do any of their grilled chicken sandwiches subbing fried - the grilled is good but the fried is obviously freaking amazing 😋 and they're huge! And the price is great compared to other commercialized restaurants where you get some smashed gross "chikn sandwich". Honestly, they need to advertise these things 'cause looking at their website, you'd never know they exist. The only thing they can improve are their fries, maybe they need steak fries or something else but I give em credit for trying to do homemade fries. What else...their refreshers are good too.
Great selection of burgers. Fries are very tasty. Large menu including your fast food favorites. Burgers, hotdogs, chicken, fries , onion rings, shakes, and plenty more. Quick friendly service.
The burger on the menu sounded unique. I ordered the Captain America and fries to go. The burger was good portioned. The burger sounded delicious, but it was average tasting. The ground meat may have needed more seasoning. The fries were homemade sliced potatoes. Good overall.
This is a solid burger joint. You will want to come back for sure. Not just because it is delicious, but because one burger and there is no room for another order. The menu has named burgers, hotdogs, ice cream and even more. Leave feeling stuffed.
Never had a $9 shake before but I might say it was incredible. I had the Jack Sparrow burger. It had a nice spicy bite. Definitely recommend.
Food was delicious, the twisted burger had an amazing taste and the bbq sauce was different, very good, the twisted dog was very good, the fried tortilla made it nice to have a crunch when bittingjinto it. The southwest salad, wonderful presentation and the tortilla strips nice and fresh. Highly recommend eating here and will look into returning
I would most definitely give this place a 100/100 if I could.The food is very delicious and you get what u pay for.I do not know why people give this place a rating lower than a 5 I think people just want to rate anything these days *BORING* People always have something to nitpick about,@ losers and the haters .The service was great and the atmosphere was great,I will most definitely be coming back!!!
