Great thin crust pizza! Spicy, garlic flavor. It's great. An awesome local pizza place.
We ordered beef, pasta and salad for a small get together and was very happy with the portion sizes for the money and the food was delicious. I really enjoyed the Italian beef. We didn't get one this time, but amazing party pizzas as well.

I love this place! I see some negative reviews on here and I dont quite see where theyve come from.
Every time I come in, I never have an issue. The food quality is very good. The people that work there are friendly and talkative.
I'm a Grayslake resident that chooses to make purchases at local places versus going to the bigger well known chains. Italian Ovens has fresh food that tastes amazing! I personally order a Hot Classic Italiano and sometimes a side, my wife usually orders one of the pasta dishes they have, we've ordered pizza on multiple occasions and never have we been disappointed.
Ive been coming here since the place opened and its changed hands a few times. The gentleman previous to Patty having it was running it where I almost didnt come back. The food quality started to go downhill. When I saw there was a new owner I gave it a shot again and like I said previously, I havent been disappointed. Patty brought this local favorite back to life and I hope the success continues and people who read the reviews stop in and decide for themselves that this is a great place to go!
Everything I have had here has been wonderful! I frequent the area a lot and so far the Italian beef/sausage combo sandwich has been my favorite! I added green peppers and mozzarella cheese with a side of an jus. Nobody else can come close to competing with them. They also have a separate section with gaming machines and I must say they have been hot more than not! Everyone has been so nice every time I’ve been in! I will be back as often as I can while in the area!!
We order from here all the time and we’ve never been disappointed! The food is delicious! Presentation is great! Everything from the wings, salads, pasta and pizza is absolutely fantastic!! The staff is so friendly and treat us like family! We will forever have Grayslake Italian Ovens as our got to pizza place!
I can't believe someone gave this pizza a bad review. I wouldn't believe it. This is my absolute favorite pizza in this area. I love the deep dish spinach pizza! This place is very tiny with only a few tables so we always do carryout. They usually add a few fresh rolls with the order as well.

Honestly these people rock! Mother and daughter run it and they honestly make some great food. They have been so helpful during the pandemic and I have been totally impressed by the pizza and the quality of fresh food! This will be my goto spot for many years!
The pizza is the best. We order the party pizza all of the time. They have great sandwiches too. The individual wrapped chocolate chip cookies are really good. Super friendly staff.
Looking for a place to eat when we happened to find this restaurant. We were not disappointed!! Prices were fair and the service was fabulous!! There is no complaints about the food whatsoever. Excellent is what I would describe this place. Very customer oriented!!Thanks again!! From the packer fans lol!!
I have not eaten inside the restaurant, so the 4 stars that I am giving are for good pizza and friendly. If you're a fan of pizza, I recommend that you order yourself a pie and give it a shot; it's uniquely flavored. Pizza ordered: sausage and pep, sausage, pep, and mushrooms

We live right next to this restaurant but never wanted to go in based on the reviews. We saw that there was a new owner and decided to give it a try and I'm so glad we did. This is now one of our favorite places. They're calzones are amazing!!
I've been going to Italian Ovens all my life. Their thin crust is great, I love their sauce (sweet and mouthwatering), they top the pizza with just the right amount of cheese, and they give me a great price! I love it!
Wow was that good! Spinach lasagna. Ordered two. One would have been enough for my husband and me. Good thing is now we get to enjoy it again for a second meal. Thank you!
Patty is the nicest lady that works there. We were in a little bit of a hurry and she made sure that we were served as quickly as possible! Thank you Patty, and the Italian beef is very good!
I heard this place went down hill and today they proved it. I called ahead while driving to see if they sell slices. They said yes, 3 flavors. Was there a few minutes later. Ordered 2 cheese. He came back and told me he only had 1 cheese and 1 sausage! Didnt offer a discount or anything when I explained that I just called. So I walked out and will never return.
