My friend and I researched online to find a Caribbean restaurant on US Hwy 78 where we could dine-in and decided on Ionies Island Kitchen. Their listing states that they offer dine-in. Standing in line right now and have yet to experience any of the bad service mentioned in reviews. Yes, they are slow, but this isn’t fast food. I walked in and the line was about 5 people long and I’ve seen them already deal with belligerent customers. First guy was rude and being picky about his f
There are way better restaurants with good customer service & good food. Please do not waste your time coming here. They are extremely rude ‼️ FULL of attitude & Their portions are small. I have been there a few times because I like to give people/business chance. But each time they are constantly r
I'm vegetarian and went to eat here at 11:30a. They do have vegan options that are cook to order, but only available after 2p. Not helpful. Also, the staff did not have the best customer service. I enjoyed the rice & peas, plantains, and cabbage but was bummed that was all I could eat and the servic
The food was amazing. Tons of comments talk about the customer service and they're correct. I've been to many Caribbean places and the most authentic are like this. They value their time and aren't in a hurry.
Bought pineapple chicken, taste was bland. Call the restaurant spoke to the owner Iona She was very impolite. This is not about you the owner It’s the customer who make you. I will not spend another dime there. She need to know how to treat complaints… Just wast my money on Jamaican food.
Other then the pace of service being a hit or miss, i love food from this kitchen, not to mention i love the smell that hits you when you first walk in 😋
Went 2 days in a row...that tells you how delicious this food was. Had jerk chicken and steamed cabbage the 1st day. Had the callaloo, fried dumpling and festival the 2nd day. Tasty food.. I'm already planning my next trip.
