Had the best pecan pie ever, this afternoon. Dates added an extra dimension to a perfect pie. Not too sweet like all other pecan pie.

Mark Bittman of the NY Times had obviously never had the #6 Baguette at Bizalion's before he wrote his article about the best "ham" sandwich he's ever eaten, which turned out to be in Barcelona. Yes, that's a great sandwich, Mark. I ate it a few weeks ago. But now try the one at this great eatery in Great Barrington, and another "great," a great deal closer to home than Spain! You won't have to go as far, and the sandwich will be even better! RS
