My birthday dinner! Had a great time with friends. The beef cheek appetizer was fantastic - super tender! The burger was honeslty somewhat pedestrian, but the gruyere and addition of Nueske's bacon sealed the deal. Seafood entree was delicious, but only 3 shrimp and 2 scallops (I was told there would be 3). Could not get enough of the garlic bread they provide! Server was personable and knowledgable. Drinks were phenomenal - especially the manhattan! Order the souffle in advance - both the grand marnier and the chocolate were fantastic - you will not be disappointed!

Had a very nice lunch on a Saturday in Sept 2020. We made reservations the day before. They have a very large tent which provides for many outdoor tables. You can eat inside if you want, but I found it a bit too dark in the main building. They had a pre fixe lunch menu. I had the mussels, Caesar salad, and the seafood bouillabaisse. And the chocolate soufflé for dessert. All of it was very rich (lots of butter), but delicious. Great place for a nice, long lunch. Not a good choice if you’re looking for a quick bite. We were there for over 2 hours by the time the desserts were served.

Hands down one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten in. Reminds me of my travels to Germany and France, where going out to eat is an event rather than just dinner. All the food was delicious, cooked to the expectation and delelivered to the table with a professional attitude and charm. Will be back!

One of my favorite places in Northern Virginia. The food is impeccable and the service is equally great. We are never disappointed. I especially recommend the wild mushroom crepe and the chocolate soufflé.

*** Best side dish to order >>> French Fries *** *** Best dessert to order >>> Soufflé *** Get the fries ..... REALLY, GET THE FRIES. Pretty much every other table did. If you've never had gourmet double-fried, properly prepared fries, then you really want to try the fries here at least once in your life. I typically smother any fries in a pool of ketchup but these fries absolutely taste best "neat" (ie. without any ketchup, mustard, or any condiments). These are crazy good on their own. As for dessert, there is almost no restaurant around the Fairfax/Loudoun area that cooks a classic risen soufflé .... an absolutely divine way to end your classic French meal. See our pics. Even though we've dined at L'Auberge several times, this is our first time dining at Jacque's Brasserie. Even though both places are within the same physical building, Jacque's Brasserie feels more laid back and I didn't have to wear a suit jacket just to walk to our table ...... then again, it was lunch at the time. This place is perfect for those who want to eat in a throwback setting (as if you've traveled back in time) at a quaint, cozy French restaurant surrounded by mature forest trees ..... where you may call it romantic, then this is the place. Keep in mind, the food is old-school (.... Like back in the 60s or 70s) French in my opinion. There is no nouveau, fusion, or super-unique flavor foams covering hard to find ingredients sourced from a unique farm located in some far far away land. This is classic French - meaning multi-course plates of traditional French prepared food. The lunch menu seemed smaller compared to the L'Auberge full menu but we didn't mind. This feels like casual fine dining in local French cafe somewhere in the suburbs of France. The service did not seem any different than L'Auberge and we got to try several dishes that incorporated the locally grown produce just a few dozen feet away from the restaurant.

This place is a gem! Amazing food and great hospitality. We dined at Jacque's brasserie and plan to go back on the main restaurant soon. Samy was the best and everyone was friendly.

We decided to splurge a little and visit Jacques Brasserie - and we were not to be disappointed! Three of us cane and enjoyed the great food on a wonderful Saturday evening on the back patio, when it wasn’t even too hot! The breads were delightful, especially the garlic bread, wow! Then we had lobster bisque and beef cheeks for starters and we were off to the races! We had mussels and halibut for our main course and soufflé for desert, of course! Our chauffeur (my son) even joined us for a twenty dollar prime beef cheeseburger that was wonderful!

a more casual French environement on the country side of NoVA. Excellent for spring and summer dining. Authentic menu with local produce, carte du vin and courteous service. Staples from the Alsace-Lorraine region.

The ambience made me feel like I was in Europe! I'm visiting my Mom. I have wonderful restaurants in NYC and this stacks up. Our server, Freddie was incredible!

Attentive service, casual vibe, and an impressive menu of French dishes prepared from the same kitchen as L’Auberge, Jacques’ Brasserie won’t let you down. It’s slightly more pricey but Jacques’ is a great, out of the way, and upscale alternative to the usual brunch spots in the area. Seating is outdoor and in a cozy heated patio. The unique GF location and setting are faintly reminiscent of Normandy. Every visit is a treat!

Jacque’s Brasserie is downstairs of L'Auberge Chez Francois. Same kitchen and same chef, and to me more relax and just as awesome. Great specials every night and one of the best wine lists I’ve seen. Don’t forget to order the soufflé when you order your meal. Talk about perfection!

Top-tier brasserie experience. Great service. Excellent cocktails. Probably the best French onion soup I’ve ever had. Mains are well portioned, classic rich french sauces.Courses were spaced out perfectly. Casual but classy atmosphere. Left feeling like we got great value here, will be back!

My wife and I have had dinner here many, many times, and we've always been delighted with the consistently wonderful food, excellent service and relaxing feel. There's really no where else in northern Virginia where you can have classic french food like this. We ate outside last weekend in the perfect outdoor setting. Tall trees, a view of the garden - it's an amazing place, a little gem.

My wife and I have made this our "place" for Valentine's Day. Reserve early, it books up fast. Tonight, we went just "because". The food is out of this world...GOOD! The staff is both friendly and fast. The escargot is my favorite appetizer. The hazelnut or choclate soufflé are amazing.

Awesome dining experience. Reccommend the brunch out on the patio. Beautiful greenery and water features with a live classical guitar musician. Food was excellent as well. For the brunch the dishes are common fare but done well. The dessert, a strawberry summer cake, was divine. The establishment is quite historical, been in the DC region for many years. Take a trip to restroom in the base floor and you will walk by old pictures of Presidents who were also patrons.
