I love Peruvian food, I am extremely picky with my food, I do not like to go just anywhere. But this place after a year and a half hast still maintain not only the great flavor of their food but also the exceptional customer service. I could not give you a favorite plate, as I have tried almost all of them and have like them all. The desserts are delicious . One thing I would recommend trying it’s the algarrobina, I had it made with no alcohol but it was delicioussss!!! If you live in the area or are visiting, I strongly suggest you give them a try. They now deliver as well. I normally don’t do reviews but this place it’s actually great. I have never been disappointed with the food, and their customer service is amazing. Great job Danny Pain you’ve done well with this place!! I hope many more are able to soon find out for themselves. God bless you!

The dining experience is exceptional!! You can literally close your eyes and point to ANYTHING on the menu and it’s a winner!! Desserts are great too but they MUST hire someone to make Picarones on the weekends to top it off.

Gracias, Pio Pio! Vendremos a visitarlos una y otra vez!

Amazing first time experience! Heard great things about the restaurant so decided to try it out. We started out with the Peruvian wontons and the chicken ahí stuffing was delicious, especially with the accompanying sauce. The stuffed potatoes were also simply amazing. For the main entrees we got the Lomo Salteado, which was perfectly cooked and juicy steak with the most delicious sauce and the fried rice, which was unlike any other fried rice I've had before. Our server was super friendly, explained everything, and remained attentive the entire time. I also took some alfajores home and they were delicious! Can't say enough about this place, and definitely recommend it!

Was my first experience today at this Peruvian restaurant. The restaurant has a very nice façade. You can sit outdoors or indoors. It is clean, nothing overly fancy and what really matters is they’re delicious food. I’ve been to several Peruvian restaurants before, but this tops now, my list. PioPio’s food is fresh, flavors explode in your mouth, and the service is just gracious and warm. I even love the music they were playing, which is Latin music, which sounded very fun. Great ambience to hang out with the family or if you want to go with your LO. I ordered a seafood plate, which had fish, garnished with shrimps, calamari, mussels, and clams and a delicious orange sauce. It also had some potatoes that look golden, delicious and served with white rice. I could not have ordered a burger dish. If you go there and you love seafood, this is a dish to have. My friends ordered Lomo Saltado, and the before so tender it for one of my friends, then I’m planning to order that next time I go. My other friend ordered a breaded chicken with rice and potato chips and salad. It looked fabulous! My other friend ordered something that looks like a mashed potato tower with chicken salad in the middle, and an orange sauce on top. It looks small, but it was mightily packed in flavor. The other lady friend ordered a chicken soup that had all the flavor in the world. She raved about it. For dessert, they offer flan, tres leches, chocoflan, lucuma pie, and some other delightful baked goods. Sadly, they did not have Tres leches so we went for the flan, which we shared. The beverages they have are fruit refreshments, and they also have regular sodas, my table ordered a passion, fruit refreshment, which they enjoyed it very much. Parking can be a little crazy, especially at lunchtime. They only have one handiicap spot, but you can also park in front of the restaurant on the other side of the road. It took me five minutes to find a spot, so it wasn’t a big deal. This restaurant is really a gem! The lady that took care of us, her name was Anna, and she’s there Monday through Friday, and she was lovely! If you are interested in having great Peruvian faire, this is the place to go. Bon appetite!

Best Ceviche in DMV hands down! Speciality Cocktails (Algarobina, Maracuya Sour) were well crafted. Service was great and every dish was delicious but the one that I wish I had more of was the traditional ceviche which had a heat and savoryness that made me keep taking more bites than I wanted to. The anticuchos are the best I have had in the United States. 3 stars for atmosphere as the inside is a little small and crowded and bathrooms are for one person at a time. Also, it's cold and windy outside today so the entrance at the door that swings into the restaurant was getting blown open a little which was letting the cold air in. They should have the door adjusted so it swings out of the restaurant, that way you don't crowd the small space with the door, people and staff carrying food outside can push the door instead of pull the door and the wind won't blow it open (thus saving on heating bills and guest comfort). So in a nutshell, I highly recommend this place as everything was great except the door which I deducted a star for and will modify my review if they make a wise decision and invest in correcting the entrance door which is a simple and inexpensive fix!

I had to give 5 stars for the food- everything we tried was good, plus the pisco sour! A bit drafty when door opens because the place is small. Not fancy but clean and friendly.

This is your standard Peruvian fare but elevated… and not just because you’re in Great Falls. The food has depth of flavor and quality ingredients. The drinks are dangerously good. The atmosphere is toned down from your typical Peruvian restaurant but still very Peruvian. People are very nice. I’d say definitely take a trip out here or if you have a reason to be in Great Falls make this your go to Peruvian spot. Oh and know that spicy here isn’t for the faint of heart. The staff here know what they’re doing.

Best Peruvian food in the DMV. This has become our weekly place to have dinner. El Gran Marino is the best dish to share. 3 amazing Peruvian dishes in one plate. Cost is $70 with Mahi Mahi, but it’s worth it. 2-3 person can comfortable share it. It’s a combination of Rice with Seafood(Peruvian Paella), Ceviche (Fish Ceviche) and Jalea (Fried Mixed Seafood). You get that with a pitcher of Peruvian Purple Corn drink lol! We love the ambience, the team and the food of The Pio Pio! Enjoy

Firstly, the Tacu Tacu con salsa de Mariscos was simply amazing! The combination of the creamy, flavorful sauce and the perfectly cooked Tacu Tacu made for a truly satisfying meal. The seafood within the sauce was fresh and cooked to perfection, and the spices used in the preparation of the dish provided a subtle yet delicious flavor that was not overpowering in the slightest. Next, the ceviche was absolutely delicious. The fresh, tender fish combined with the tangy and flavorful sauce was a match made in heaven. It was evident that the ingredients were of top quality, and the preparation was carefully done to ensure that each bite was truly enjoyable. Finally, the anticucho was a great addition to the meal. The meat was cooked to a perfect medium-rare and was tender and juicy. The marinade was delicious and added just the right amount of flavor to the dish. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious meal, especially those who are fans of seafood or Peruvian cuisine. The Tacu Tacu con salsa de Mariscos, ceviche, and anticucho were all truly delicious and well-prepared.

Bistec de Pobre is the way to go!!! (Caution, its prepared medium well unless asked otherwise but at that point your just going to overcook it) all other dishes were delicious as well but the bistec was just exploding with flavors!! Service was great! Place was clean! I will definitely visit again next time I'm in the area! Go check it out!!!

A decent experience. Service was good, prompt and efficient, and the flavor was there, and each flavor was distinct even in the context of a thicker risotto. I would come here again. But I wouldn't go out of my way.
