Cho-sen Village - Great Neck - Photo album

I agree with some of the comments about cleanliness - noticed visible stains on my spoon and the toilet in the bathroom clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while. However, the waiters were lovely and attentive, perhaps because we came at 5 before the max Sunday rush. I also thought the food was really
Local kosher staple. The food is good but I feel that the place needs updating. The menu was dirty as was my tea cup
I just love the smell of the place, y'know. It's the most famous kosher Chinese restaurant for a reason. Every one MUST try their dumplings once in their lives.
It's a trusted kosher place with a long history of service to the community. Prices have hardly changed over the years. It could use an overhaul, but it's the food that counts. During Covid their chicken soups helped many recover a bit earlier :)
This is our favorite family restaurant. It is always a special occasion to eat in or take out. The food is fresh, tasty, and comforting. The service is always excellent, and take out is simple. While it is not cheap, kosher restaurants have to hire extra supervisors and pay higher overhead, we find
Good restaurant but weird. For example you order 5 orders of sushi for 5 people they just give one spicy Mayo on the side. 5 orders of sushi for 5 people they each want spicy Mayo it should come with the order. They just give one and if you want more they charge you like $1.10 for it. How weird this
We had a 100 year birthday party at Cho-Sen Village, this past Sunday. Raymond, the manager was more than helpful and accommodating. He went out of his way to make sure that our party was perfect. We expected approximately 50 people. But, 63 people showed up. Raymond, quickly assembled new tables an
Most family friendly restaurant in great neck. Excellent food that the entire family loves! They are always so nice and friendly and they have such nice attitude towards costumers. The food is classic and tasty and never ever disappoints! We are regulars here
Although, they slack on the meat portions. Overall the food is the go to for Chinese!
Our favorite family restaurant. Quick service and they are understanding of the mess my kids make. Wish they had more vegetarian options (go during the Jewish "9 Days" if you are veg, they have special meals then!)
Very fresh ingredients. Lots of options. Great service. Relaxing ambiance. Only Chinese place I can eat at without feeling gross afterwards. They deliver the food to your house so fast that I think they cook it on the go in the delivery van. It's just too good
Serving high quality Kosher Chinese food must be very hard to do... because so few places are capable. Chosen Village makes consistently excellent food. Fast, friendly enough, service. After nearly 20 years in this location it may be time to spruce up the decor. I'd be thrilled to see Chosen punch
